Setting up your CD player
1. Installing remote control batteries
1 Remove the battery compartment cover. 2
Insert two AAA batteries into the battery compartment. Make sure that the + and –
symbols on the batteries match the + and – symbols in the battery compartment.
3 Replace the cover.

You can use either digital or analog audio connections, depending on the
connection available on your amplier or receiver.

1 Press OPEN/CLOSE to open the CD tray. 2 Place a CD in the tray, label side up. 3
Press DISC SKIP to rotate the CD tray clockwise one position.

Place a CD in the next tray. You can place ve CDs in the tray.

to close the CD tray.
Playing a CD
1 Insert a CD in the CD tray. 2 Press (play). 3 To control CD playback:
• Press (pause) to pause playback. Press
• Press (stop) to stop playback.
• Press to fast reverse.
• Press to fast forward.
• Press (previous) to go to the beginning of the currently
playing track or to the previous track.
• Press to go to the next track.
• Press INTRO on the remote controlto play the rst 10
seconds of each track.
• Press DISC on the remote control, then press a number (1–5)
to select a different disc.
• Press A B on the remote control to mark the
beginning of a playback loop.
Press A B again to mark the end of a playback loop. The
loop plays. Press A B to resume normal playback.
• Press 1/F/ALL REPEAT on the remote control once to play the current track repeatedly. Press again to play the current CD repeatedly. Press a third time to play all the CDs
repeatedly. Press a fourth time to cancel repeat mode.
