NS-C2113 represents the state of the art in portable audio, and is designed
for reliable and trouble-free performance.
Safety information
Although this radio can be connected to a power adapter, do not connect the
power adapter while the radio is inside the bath or shower enclosure. Using
the power adapter in the bath or shower, or in other moist environments, can
result in electrocution and injury or death.
Features
This shower radio brings you all the features of a portable radio and CD
player in a protective, water-resistant case. You can hang the radio from any
protrusion or hook inside the shower or anywhere else. Its water-resistant
design also makes it ideal for wet or damp environments outdoors, such as
near swimming pools and gardens.
1 Press the AM or FM button. The radio turns on.
2 Turn the TUNING knob to the station you want.
3 To adjust the volume, turn the VOLUME knob.
4 Turn off the radio by pressing the POWER/OFF button.
Using CDs
To play a CD:
1 Press the PLAY/PAUSE/CD button.
2 Pull the OPEN latch to open the CD compartment door, then insert a CD
into the compartment with the label side facing out (towards you).
3 Close the compartment door. After you close the door, the player reads
the total number of songs on the CD, displays that number on the LCD,
and starts playback.
4 To pause playback, press the PLAY/PAUSE/CD button. To resume
playback, press the button again.
5 To adjust the volume, turn the VOLUME knob.

6 To stop playback, press the STOP button.
7 To repeat only the current track, press the REPEAT button once.
8 To repeat all tracks on the CD, press the REPEAT button twice.
To program CD playback:
1 Press STOP to stop CD playback.
2 Press PROGRAM, press NEXT until the track you want appears on the
LCD, then press PROGRAM again. The track is added to the playback
program.
3 Repeat Step 2 for each track you want to program. You can program up
to 32 tracks.
4 Press PLAY/PAUSE/CD to start playback of the tracks in the order that
you programmed them.
5 To clear the programmed tracks from memory, press STOP.
Attaching headphones
To attach headphones:
• Insert your headphone plug (headphones not included) into the
headphone jack. The speakers automatically turn off while headphones
are connected.
Installing batteries
To install batteries:
1 Loosen the screw on the battery compartment door, then swing the door
open.
2 Insert four C batteries (not included). Make sure that they’re oriented
according to the diagram inside the battery compartment.
3 Close the battery compartment door, then tighten the screw.
Connecting external power
To connect external power:
1 Make sure you are not in a wet or moist environment.
2 Connect the power adapter’s DC power plug into the shower radio’s
DC power jack. (power adapter not included)
3 Plug the power adapter’s AC power plug into an ACpower outlet.
Maintaining the radio and CDs
• Keep your CDs clean. Any dirt can scratch the CD surface, making
playback less clear. Dirt on a CD can also damage the CD player
mechanism. Wipe away any fingerprints or dust on the playing surface of
a disc using a soft cloth.
• When you hold CDs, make sure you do not touch the playing surface.
• Do not place CDs near a heater or source of heat.
• If you do not use the shower radio for a long time, disconnect external
power and remove the batteries.

• Do not open the CD compartment cover if water spray can get on the CD
or inside the radio (such as when the shower’s on).
• If your home has hard water, make sure that you dry off water droplets
that may have landed on the radio, to prevent hard water spots.
Insignia Products warrants to you, the original purchaser of this Product, that
this product shall be free o f defects in material or workman ship for a period of
ninety (90) days from the date of purchase as follows:
1 LABOR: During the Warranty Period if this Product is determined to be
defective, Insignia will repair or replace the Product, at its option at no
charge, or pay the labor charges to any Insignia authorized service
facility. After the Warranty Period, you must pay for all labor charges.
2 PARTS: In addition, Insignia will supply, at no charge, new or rebuilt
replacement parts in exchange for defective parts for the Warranty
Period. After the Warranty Period, you must pay all parts costs.
To obtain warranty service, you must take the Product with your original
receipt or other proof of purchase, either in its original packaging or
packaging affordi ng an equal deg ree of protection, to you r ne ares t re tail stor e
location of the store or online w eb site from which y ou purchased the Prod uct.
This warranty does not cover cosmetic damage or damage due to acts of
God, lightning strikes, accident, misuse, abuse, negligence, commercial use,
or modification of, or to any part of the Product, including the antenna. This
warranty does not cover damage due to improper operation or maintenance,
connection to improper voltage supply, or attempted repair by anyone other
than a facility authorized by Insignia to service the Product. This warranty
does not cover Products sold AS IS or WITH ALL FAULTS, or consumables
(such as fuses or batteries). This warranty is valid only in the United States
and Canada.
This warranty is invalid if the factory applied serial number has been altered
or removed from the Product.

REPAIR REPLA CEMENT AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS THE
EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF THE CONSUMER. INSIGNIA SHALL NOT BE
LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR
BREACH OF ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY ON THIS
PRODUCT. EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE
LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY, REPRESENTATION OR CONDITION OF
MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ON
THIS PRODUCT IS LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS
WARRANTY.
Some states or provinces do not allow the e xclusion or limita tion of inci denta l
or consequential damages, or allow limitations on how long an implied
warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights
