NS-C2111 digital clock radio represents the state of the art in personal clock
radio design and is designed for reliable and trouble-free performance.

Battery
Your clock radio has a backup battery that stores your settings. You cannot
use the battery to power your clock radio.
If your clock radio does not save your settings, you may need to replace the
battery.
To install the battery:
1 Slide the battery cover in the direction of the arrow, then remove the
cover.
2 Insert a 9V (6F22/006/PP3) battery into the battery compartment.
3 Slide the battery cover closed.
Antenna
Your clock radio has a built-in antenna for AM radio. To improve reception,
change the position of your clock radio.
You clock radio also has a flexible wire antenna on the back for FM radio.
Fully extend this antenna for the best reception.

Using your cloc k radio
Playing the radio
To play the radio:
1 Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet.
2 Slide the Function switch to ON.
3 Slide the Band Selector switch to FM or AM.
4 Adjust the Volume control, if necessary.
5 Turn the Tuning control to the station you want to listen to.
6 To turn the radio off, slide the Function switch to OFF.
Setting the time
To set the time:
1 Press and hold the Time Set button, then press and hold the Hour Set
button until the hour you want appears. If the hour displayed is AM, the
PM indicator is off. If the hour displayed is PM, the PM indicator is on.
For the location of the PM indicator, see “Features” on page1.
2 Release both buttons.
3 Press and hold the Time Set butt on, then press a nd hold the Minu te Set
button until the minute you want appears.
4 Release both buttons.
Setting the alarm
To set the alarm:
1 Select the radio station and vol ume le vel y ou w ant, or turn off the v olume
to wake to a buzzer.
2 Press and hold the Alarm Set/Off button, then press and hold the Hour
Set button until the hour you want appears. If the hour displayed is AM,
the PM indicator is off. If the hour displa y ed is PM, the PM indicator i s on.
For the location of the PM indicator, see “Features” on page1.
3 Release both buttons.
4 Press and hold the Alarm Set/Off button, then press and hold the
Minute Set button until the minute you want appears.
5 Release both buttons.
6 Slide the Function switch to AUTO. The alarm indicator turns on. For the
location of the alarm indicator, see “Features” on page 1.
7 To turn the alarm off, slide the Function switch to OFF or press the
Alarm Set/Off button.
Using the snooze alarm
To use the snooze alarm:
1 When the alarm (buzzer or radio) turns on, press the Snooze button.
The alarm turns off for about nine minutes.
2 T o cancel the snooz e feature, slide the Function switch to OFF or press
the Alarm Set/Off button.

Setting the sleep timer
You can set your clock radio to turn off after you go to sleep.
To set the sleep timer:
1 Select the radio station you want.
2 Slide the Function switch to AUTO or OFF.
3 Press the Sleep button. The display shows 59 minutes. Your clock radio
will turn off in 59 minutes.
4 If you want to change the number of minutes, press and hold the Sleep
button, then press and hold the Minute Set button until the number of
minutes you want appears. Release both buttons.
5 If you want to increase the number of hours, press and hold the Sleep
button, then press and hold the Hour Set button until the number of
hours you want appears.
6 To turn off the sleep timer before the time you set occurs, press the
Snooze button once.
Setting both the alarm and sleep timer
To set both the alarm and sleep timer:
1 Select the radio station you want.
2 Slide the Function switch to AUTO.
3 Set the alarm by following the instructions in “Setting the alarm” on
page 4.
4 Set the sleep timer by following the instructions in “Setting the sleep
timer” on page5.

Limited warranty
Insignia Products warrants to you, the original purchaser of this Product, that
this product shall be free o f defects in material or workmanship for a period of
ninety (90) days from the date of purchase as follows:
1 LABOR: During the Warranty Period if this Product is determined to be
defective, Insignia will repair or replace the Product, at its option at no
charge, or pay the labor charges to any Insignia authorized service
facility. After the Warranty Period, you must pay for all labor charges.
2 PART S: In addition, Insignia will supply, at no charge, new or rebuilt
replacement parts in exchange for defective parts for the Warranty
Period. After the Warranty Period, you must pay all parts costs.
To obtain warranty service, you must take the Product with your original
receipt or other proof of purchase, either in its original packaging or
packaging affordi ng an equal deg ree of protection, to y ou r ne ares t re tail store

This warranty does not cover cosmetic damage or damage due to acts of
God, lightning strikes, accident, misuse, abuse, negligence, commercial use,
or modification of, or to any part of the Product, including the antenna. This
warranty does not cover damage due to improper operation or maintenance,
connection to improper voltage supply, or attempted repair by anyone other
than a facility authorized by Insignia to service the Product. This warranty
does not cover Products sold AS IS or WITH ALL FAULTS, or consumables
(such as fuses or batteries). This warranty is valid only in the United States
and Canada.
This warranty is invalid if the factory applied serial number has been altered
or removed from the Product.
REPAIR REPLA CEMENT AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS THE
EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF THE CONSUMER. INSIGNIA SHALL NOT BE
LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR
BREACH OF ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY ON THIS
PRODUCT. EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE
LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY, REPRESENTATION OR CONDITION OF
MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ON
THIS PRODUCT IS LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS
WARRANTY.
Some states or provinces do not allow the e xclusion or limita tion of inci denta l
or consequential damages, or allow limitations on how long an implied
warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
