This symbol indicates that there are important operating and maintenance instructions in the literature accompanying your cooler.

WARNING

To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, or injury follow these basic precautions when using your cooler:

Read all instructions before using the wine and beverage cooler.

Never allow children to operate, play with, or crawl inside the appliance.

Refrigerants: All refrigeration products contain refrigerants. Under the guidelines of federal law, refrigerants must be removed before the disposal of the product. It is the consumer’s responsibility to comply with federal and local regulations when disposing of this product.

Never clean the appliance with flammable fluids. The fumes can create a fire hazard or explosion.

Do not store or use gasoline or any other flammable vapors and liquids in the vicinity of this or any other appliance. The fumes can create a fire hazard or explosion.

Do not store explosive substances, such as aerosol cans with a flammable propellant, in this appliance.

WARNING

Electric Shock Hazard

Failure to follow these instructions can result in electric shock, fire, or death.

1WARNING–Keep ventilation openings in the appliance enclosure or in the built-in structure clear of obstruction.

2WARNING–Do not touch the interior of the chiller compartment with wet hands. This could result in frost bite.

3WARNING–Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process, other than those recommended by the manufacturer.

4WARNING–Do not damage the refrigerant circuit when handling, moving, or using the cooler.

5WARNING–Do not use electrical appliances inside the storage compartment of the cooler, unless they are of the type recommended by the manufacturer.

6WARNINGDANGER—Never allow children to play with, operate, or crawl inside the cooler.

Risk of child entrapment. Before you throw away your old cooler:

1)Take off the door

2)Leave the shelves in place so that children may not easily climb inside

7Unplug the cooler before carrying out user maintenance on it.

8This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

9Please dispose of the cooler according to local regulations as the cooler contains flammable gas and refrigerant.

10Follow local regulations regarding disposal of the cooler due to flammable refrigerant and gas. All refrigeration products contain refrigerants, which under the guidelines of federal law must be removed before disposal. 11This cooler is intended to be used in household and similar environments, such as:

Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices, and other working environments

Farm houses and by clients in hotels, motels, and other residential environments

Bed and breakfasts

Catering and similar non-retail applications

12Do not store or use gasoline or any flammable liquids inside or in the vicinity of this cooler.

Grounding Instructions

This appliance must be grounded. Grounding reduces the risk of electrical shock by providing an escape wire for the electrical current.

This appliance has a cord that has a grounding wire with a 3-prong plug. The power cord must be plugged into on outlet that is properly grounded. It the outlet is a 2-prong wall outlet, it must be replaced with a properly grounded 3-prong wall outlet. The serial rating plate indicates the voltage and frequency the appliance is designed for.

WARNING: Improper use of the grounding plug con result in a risk of electric shock. Consult a qualified electrician or service agent if the grounding instructions are not completely understood, or if doubt exists as to whether the appliance is properly grounded.

Do not connect your appliance to extension cords or together with another appliance in the same wall outlet. Do not splice the power cord. Do not, under any circumstances, cut or remove the third ground prong from the power cord. Do not use extension cords or ungrounded (two prong) adopters. If the power supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or similar qualified person in order to avoid hazard.

Notes:

For your cooler to operate normally, avoid placing it in areas with high magnetic fields or high humidity.

When you put a lot of wine bottles in the cooler at one time, the temperature in the cooler may rise temporarily.

To prolong the service life of the compressor, wait for at least five minutes before plugging the unit back in, after unplugging it.

FUNCTION

 

Press to turn the power on or off.

Press to turn the interior light on or off. The default is on when the door is open and off when the door is closed. Press the button once to turn the light off when the door is open. The light resumes the default function when the door is closed.

Press to raise the temperature in the selected zone.

Press to lower the temperature in the selected zone.

Press and hold (for three to five seconds) both buttons simultaneously to change the display from F° to C° or back again.

INDICATOR

DESCRIPTION

Lights to indicate that cooling mode is currently in operation.

Indicates which temperature mode is being displayed.

Notes:

Touch the control panel lightly when pressing the keys.

To avoid scratching the control panel, do not touch it with sharp objects.
