The following is a list of TMDE required for the complete PMCS of this suction apparatus:

PMCS CHECKLIST

VISUAL CHECKS page 11-1 and 11-2

Perform steps 1-15 as outlined in the manual on the pages above. Verify revision of literature provided with the aspirator. Inspect the transporting case for damage if provided. Inspect the AC power supply case for cracks or damage also. Verify all accessories provided with item. See page -v- for checklist
PERFORMANCE CHECKS page 11-2
1. Maximum Flow
2. Rate of Vacuum rise.
3. Maximum Vacuum-See attached altitude VS pressure chart for acceptable tolerances.
4. Vacuum Gauge accuracy
Be sure to charge batteries before packing the aspirator to optimize performance of the unit for receiving personnel. Simply connect battery to charging circuit and plug in the AC power supply to proper voltage.
TIMER VERIFICATION (ADDED VERIFICATION) see pages 9-1 for calibration if needed.
1. Turn on aspirator to intermittent operation.
2. Turn timer knobs to 5 seconds on and off. Verify with stopwatch that the aspirator operates within
correct times.
3. Turn timer knobs to 20 seconds on and off. Verify proper operation.
4. Turn timer knobs to 45 seconds on and off. Verify proper operation.
LOW BATTERY INDICATOR ADJUSTMENT (IF NECESSARY) page 9-2
1. Disconnect and remove battery pack from aspirator.
2. Preset external DC Power Supply to 11.1 VDC and attach to aspirator battery terminals in side
compartment.
3. Turn on aspirator mode select switch to intermittent setting.
4. Verify that needle of battery indicator gauge is centered between red and green divisions during
the pump off cycle. If not centered, aspirator will need adjustment (see page 9-2 for instructions).
5. Any adjustments should be made during the off cycle of the intermittent mode.
6. Disconnect the external power supply, and reinstall the battery pack in side compartment
EXTERNAL DC OPERATION
1. Turn DC power supply to 12 VDC and attach to external DC cable.
2. Verify operation on CONT and INT.
3. Turn off DC power supply and disconnect from external DC cable.
CALIBRATION PROCEDURE ( IF NECESSARY)
1. Maximum Low Vacuum Level limit
2. Intermittent on/off timing circuits
3. Low Battery indicator adjustment
CLEANING
1. Clean all components of the end item to include cases.
2. The vacuum pump/motor requires NO lubrication
3. Replace filters, hoses, tubing, fittings and connectors as needed.
4. Pack and label as instructed.

1. Packing includes components to be put in standardized boxes. When extra
accessories are to be sent with suction all components must be packed in a 24 x 20 x 14 box. Without extra accessories the size shall be 23½ x 18 x 7 box. If no accessories are provided pack in original box or equivalent size for protection.
