Aktiver Monitorlautsprecher
Diese Anleitung richtet sich an Benutzer mit
Grundkenntnissen der Audiotechnik. Bitte
lesen Sie die Anleitung vor dem Betrieb
gründlich durch und heben Sie sie für ein
späteres Nachlesen auf.
1 Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Dieser kompakte Lautsprecher ist für den
Einsatz als Bühnenmonitor vorgesehen, kann
aber auch für andere Beschallungsaufgaben
eingesetzt werden, z. B. als Stützlaut sprecher
in größeren Beschallungsanlagen. Er ist mit
einem 20-cm-Lautsprecher (8”) mit koaxialem
Hochtonhorn und einer Klasse-D-Endstufe
ausgestattet und verfügt über eine Schaltung
zur Begrenzung des Signalpegels (Limiter) und
eine Schutzschaltung gegen Überlastung. Es
sind ein Eingang für Mikrofone und unterschiedliche Eingänge für Tonquellen mit
Line-Signalpegel vorhanden. Eine M10-Gewindebuchse bietet die Möglichkeit der Befestigung z. B. auf einem Stativ.
2 Sicherheitshinweise
Das Produkt entspricht allen relevanten Richtlinien der EU und trägt deshalb das -Zeichen.
WARNUNG Das Produkt wird mit lebens-
gefährlicher Netzspannung
versorgt. Nehmen Sie daran
keine Eingriffe vor. Es besteht
die Gefahr eines elektrischen
Schlages.
Verwenden Sie das Produkt nur im Innen-

bereich und schützen Sie es vor Tropf- und
Spritzwasser sowie vor hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit. Der zulässige Einsatztemperaturbereich beträgt 0 – 40 °C.
Stellen Sie keine mit Flüssigkeit gefüllten

Gefäße, z. B. Trinkgläser, auf das Produkt.
Nehmen Sie das Produkt nicht in Betrieb

und ziehen Sie sofort den Netzstecker aus
der Steckdose:
1. wenn sichtbare Schäden am Gerät oder
am Netzkabel vorhanden sind,
2. wenn nach einem Sturz oder Ähnlichem
der Verdacht auf einen Defekt besteht,
3. wenn Funktionsstörungen auftreten.
Lassen Sie Schäden in jedem Fall in einer
Fachwerkstatt reparieren.
Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker nie am Kabel

aus der Steckdose, fassen Sie immer am
Stecker an.
Säubern Sie das Produkt nur mit einem tro-

ckenen, weichen Tuch, niemals mit Wasser
oder Chemikalien.
Wird das Produkt falsch verwendet, nicht

sicher befestigt oder nicht fachgerecht
repariert, kann keine Haftung für daraus
resultierende Sach- oder Personenschäden
und keine Garantie für das Produkt übernommen werden.
Soll das Produkt endgültig aus dem
Betrieb genommen werden, entsorgen Sie es gemäß den örtlichen Vorschriften.

Hinweis: Die LED PROTECT leuchtet nach dem
Einschalten für wenige Sekunden auf (Einschaltverzögerung des Lautsprechers). Leuchtet sie
während des Betriebs, weil die Schutzschaltung
im Fall einer Überlastung den Lautsprecher abgeschaltet hat, muss das Gerät zur Fortsetzung
des Betriebs über den Netzschalter (12) aus- und
wiedereingeschaltet werden.

Hinweis: Vermeiden Sie eine akustische Rückkopplung (lauter Pfeifton), indem Sie den Lautsprecher nicht auf das Mikrofon richten und
mit dem Mikrofon genügend Abstand zu ihm
halten.
Bei zu hoch eingestellter Lautstärke setzt
die automatische Pegelbegrenzung zum
Schutz des Lautsprechers ein, die LED
LIMIT (2) leuchtet.

Wenn die LED CLIP (7) leuchtet, ist der
Eingangspegel zu hoch und es kommt
zu Signalverzerrungen. In diesem Fall den
Regler etwas zurückdrehen.

Eingänge AUX INPUT als Cinch-Buchsen
und Stereo-Klinkenbuchse für Mono- oder
Stereo-Tonquellen mit Line-Pegel
Beim Anschluss einer Stereo-Tonquelle
wird das Stereosignal zu einem Monosignal gemischt. Die Klinkenbuchse und
die Cinch-Buchsen können auch gleichzeitig genutzt werden.

Mono-Tonquelle mit Line-Pegel (z. B. Ausgang eines Mischpults)
Beide Buchsenarten sind für symmetrische
Signale beschaltet. Eine Tonquelle mit
asymmetrischem Ausgang (z. B. Musikinstrument mit 2-poligem Klinkenstecker)
kann aber ebenfalls angeschlossen werden.

Active Monitor Speaker
These instructions are intended for users with
basic knowledge of audio technology. Please
English
read the instructions carefully prior to operation and keep them for later reference.
1 Applications
This compact speaker is ideally suited as a
monitor speaker on stage, but it can also be
used for other sound applications, e. g. as a
support speaker in large sound systems. It
is equipped with a 20 cm (8”) speaker with
coaxial tweeter and class D power amplifier
and features a circuit to limit the signal level
(limiter) and a protective circuit against overload. The speaker offers an input for microphones and different inputs for audio sources
with line signal level. An M10 threaded hole is
provided for attaching the speaker to a stand,
for example.
2 Safety Notes

Note: The PROTECT LED lights up for a few
seconds after switching on (switch-on delay
of the speaker). If it lights up during operation
because the protective circuit has switched off
the speaker in case of overload, it is necessary
to switch the speaker off and on again via the
mains switch (12) to continue operation.

Control MASTER VOLUME for the total
volume
CAUTION
Note: To avoid acoustic feedback (loud howl-
ing), never position the speaker towards the
microphone and always make sure to keep a
sufficient distance between the speaker and
the microphone.
When the volume is too high, the automatic level limiter will be activated to protect the speaker; the LED LIMIT (2) will
light up.

If the LED CLIP (7) lights up, the input level
is too high, and the signal is distorted. In
case of distortion, slightly turn back the
control.

stereo jack for mono or stereo audio
sources with line level
When a stereo audio source is connected,
the stereo signal is mixed to a mono signal. The 6.3 mm jack and the RCA jacks
can be used at the same time.

Both types of jack are balanced, but it is
also possible to connect a signal source
with unbalanced output (e. g. musical
instrument with 2-pole 6.3 mm plug).
Never adjust a very high
volume. Permanent high
volumes may damage
your hearing!
