AVVERTENZE SULLA SICUREZZA

1. Dopo aver tolto il prodotto dalla sua confezione, assicurarsi che l’apparecchio sia integro e che non ci siano segni visibili di danneggiamento dovuto al trasporto. Qualora si avessero dei dubbi, non utilizzare l’apparecchio e portarlo presso un Centro di Assistenza IMETEC autorizzato.

2. La confezione non è un giocattolo! Se presente, tenere il sacchetto di plastica lontano dalla portata dei bambini (rischio di soffocamento).

3. Prima di procedere al collegamento dell’apparecchio, veriﬁ care che i dati tecnici riportati sul dato targa della potenza nominale siano compatibili con la rete di alimentazione elettrica. Il dato targa è riportato sull’apparecchio.

4. Non utilizzare adattatori, prese multiple e/o prolunghe. Se la spina e la presa non sono compatibili, chiedere ad un tecnico qualiﬁ cato di sostituire la spina con un modello adatto.

5. Questo dispositivo deve essere usato solamente in base allo scopo per cui è stato destinato, vale a dire una piastra per capelli ad uso domestico. Qualsiasi altro utilizzo deve essere considerato improprio e, pertanto, pericoloso. Il produttore non può essere ritenuto responsabile per i danni causati dall’uso improprio o scorretto.

6. Per una maggiore protezione, si raccomanda di installare un interruttore di circuito differenziale con una corrente differenziale nominale di funzionamento ad un massimo di 30 mA nel circuito elettrico del bagno. Per questa operazione, rivolgersi ad un installatore.

7. L’uso di altri apparecchi elettrici comporta l’osservanza di alcune regole fondamentali. In particolare:

• non toccare mai l’apparecchio con mani o piedi bagnati

o umidi

• non usare l’apparecchio a piedi nudi

• per staccare la spina dalla presa, non tirare il cavo di

alimentazione o l’apparecchio

• non esporre l’apparecchio ad elementi atmosferici

(pioggia, sole, ecc.)

• non lasciare che bambini giochino con l’apparecchio

8. Non lasciare che persone (compresi i bambini) non

in grado di far funzionare l’apparecchio in modo sicuro (a causa di handicap mentali, ﬁ sici o sensoriali, di inesperienza o incompetenza) utilizzino questo apparecchio, a meno che non ci sia la stretta sorveglianza o l’aiuto di una persona responsabile.

9. Quando si utilizza l’apparecchio nel bagno, scollegarlo dall’alimentazione di corrente dopo l’uso in quanto, se lasciato vicino all’acqua, può rappresentare un pericolo anche quando è spento.

10. Prima di procedere alla pulizia o alle operazioni di manutenzione dell’apparecchio, scollegarlo dalla rete di alimentazione staccando la spina.

11. Se l’apparecchio si dovesse rompere e/o non funzionasse correttamente, spegnerlo e non manometterlo. Se è necessaria una riparazione, portarlo presso un Centro di Assistenza IMETEC autorizzato.

12. Non tentare di sostituire il cavo di alimentazione. Se è danneggiato o necessita di riparazione, contattare un Centro di Assistenza IMETEC autorizzato.

13. Per evitare un pericoloso surriscaldamento, si raccomanda di srotolare completamente il cavo di alimentazione durante l’uso e di scollegare la spina dalla presa quando l’apparecchio non è utilizzato.

14. Per pulire l’apparecchio, usare un panno asciutto.

15. Non usare mai spray per capelli mentre l’apparecchio è in uso.

16. Qualora si dovesse decidere di non utilizzare più l’apparecchio, si suggerisce di renderlo inoperante tagliandone il cavo di alimentazione dopo aver staccato la spina dalla presa elettrica. Si raccomanda inoltre di rendere innocue tutte le parti potenzialmente pericolose dell’apparecchio, in particolar modo per i bambini, i quali potrebbero essere tentati dal volerci giocare.

Avvertenza:

• Non immergere mai l’apparecchio in acqua

• Non usare l’apparecchio nelle vicinanze di vasche da bagno, lavandini o di contenitori pieni d’acqua

Linea realizzata con accurate lavorazioni artigianali in pelle conciata con metodi naturali che la rendono particolarmente morbida e vellutata. Qualora queste possano apparire all’occhio quali difetti sono da ritenersi pregi dati dalla naturalezza della pelle.

ISTRUZIONI PER L’UTENTE

CONSIGLI UTILI

L’apprendimento veloce della modalità di utilizzo della piastra per capelli permetterà di determinare esattamente il tempo di applicazione per ottenere l’effetto desiderato sui capelli.

• Assicurarsi che i capelli siano asciutti, puliti e senza alcuna traccia di lacca, schiuma per capelli o gel

• Spazzolare tutti i nodi sui capelli

• Iniziare la piega dalla nuca, procedere ai lati e terminare sulla fronte

• Quando si utilizza la piastra per capelli e durante le fasi di riscaldamento e raffreddamento, posizionare l’apparecchio su una superﬁ cie liscia e resistente al calore

• Mentre si procede con la piega, fare attenzione a non avvicinare troppo la piastra alle aree sensibili del viso, delle orecchie, del collo o della pelle

• Al termine dell’uso, lasciare raffreddare completamente la piastra prima di metterla via

Avvertenza:

• Dopo aver terminato di usare la piastra per capelli, assicurarsi che l’apparecchio si sia completamente raffreddato prima di rimetterlo nella sua custodia (o dentro qualsiasi borsa)

PREPARAZIONE DEI CAPELLI

• Lavare come d’abitudine i capelli e spazzolarli togliendo tutti i nodi

• Asciugare i capelli e spazzolarli dalle radici alle punte

FUNZIONAMENTO

• Collegare il cavo di alimentazione (4) alla rete; spostare l’interruttore (1) sulla posizione ON e lasciare riscaldare la piastra

• Il funzionamento dell’apparecchio è indicato dall’accensione di un led (2); la temperatura impostata della piastra è di 210°C

• Con una mano, tenere la ciocca ben stirata e con l’altra mano far scivolare la piastra chiusa dalle radici ﬁ no alle punte

• Al termine della piega, spegnere l’apparecchio staccando la spina di alimentazione (4) dalla presa

Avvertenza:

Non avvolgere mai il cavo di alimentazione attorno all’apparecchio.

Nota:

E’ possibile che durante la stiratura si sviluppi del vapore; si tratta dell’umidità in eccesso nei capelli che evapora.

EFFETTI REALIZZABILI Effetto liscio [Fig. A]

Inserire una ciocca sottile e poco voluminosa di capelli nella piastra e partendo dalla radice faccia scorrere la piastra ﬁ no alle punte.

Effetto boccolo [Fig. B]

Prendere una ciocca di capelli non troppo larga e inserirla nella piastra tenendola orizzontale rispetto alla ciocca. Arrotolare la ciocca tutto intorno alla piastra. Girare la piastra di di 360°C continuando il giro nel senso di arrotolamento della ciocca e fermarsi quando la parte inferiore della ciocca si trova rivolta verso l’esterno. Fare scivolare lentamente verso il basso la piastra tenendo tesa la ciocca con l’altra mano. Non fare eccessiva pressione sulla piastra altrimenti non scivolerà bene, si raccomanda anche di non tenere troppo tesa la ciocca. Una volta rilasciata la ciocca, assecondare il movimento del boccolo con la mano.

Effetto ﬂ ick (punte all’insù) [Fig. C]

Inserire una ciocca sottile e poco voluminosa di capelli nella piastra e partendo dalla radice faccia scorrere la piastra. In prossimità delle punte ruotare la piastra all’esterno accompagnando il movimento ﬁ no al rilascio della ciocca.

PULIZIA

Pulire solamente le piastre e il manico in pelle con un panno morbido e umido:

• scollegare l’apparecchio dalla corrente (4)

• controllare che le piastre (3) siano fredde

• pulire la superﬁ cie e lasciarla asciugare

SMALTIMENTO

L’imballaggio del prodotto è composto da materiali riciclabili. Smaltirlo in conformità alle norme di tutela ambientale.

Ai sensi della norma europea 2002/96/CE, l’apparecchio in disuso dev’essere smaltito in modo conforme al termine del suo ciclo di utilizzo. Ci riguarda il riciclaggio di sostanze utili contenute nell’apparecchio e permette la riduzione dell’impatto ambientale. Per maggiori informazioni, rivolgersi all’ente di smaltimento locale o al rivenditore dell’apparecchio.

ASSISTENZA E GARANZIA

Per le necessarie riparazioni, contattare il centro di assistenza ai clienti autorizzato da IMETEC (leggere il foglio sull’assistenza post-vendita in allegato) indicando il tipo di prodotto.

These operating instructions were created based on the European standard EN 62079.

Instructions and information for safe use

Please read these instructions completely and in particular the safety instructions before using your appliance and follow these instructions carefully. Keep these instructions and the associated image section in a convenient location for reference over the entire service life of the product and be sure to include it if you pass the appliance on to another user.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

1. After unpacking, make sure that the appliance is intact with no signs of damage caused by transport. Should you have any doubts, do not use the appliance and take it to an authorised IMETEC Service Centre.

2. The packaging is not a toy! If present, keep the plastic bag out of the reach of children (risk of suffocation).

3. Before connecting the appliance, check that the rating plate speciﬁ cations correspond to the electrical mains supply. The plate is on the appliance.

4. Do not use adapters, multiple sockets and/or extension cords. If the appliance’s plug and the socket are incompatible, have the socket replaced with a suitable type by qualiﬁ ed staff.

5. This appliance must only be used for the purpose for which it has been designed, that is, as a hair straightener for household use. Any other use is to be considered improper and therefore dangerous. The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any damage due to improper or incorrect use.

6. For extra protection, you are advised to install a differential circuit breaker with a nominal operating differential current of max. 30 mA in the electric circuit of the bathroom. Ask the installer for advice about this.

7. The use of any electric appliance implies the observance of some fundamental rules. Speciﬁ cally:

• never touch the appliance with hands or feet that are wet or damp

• do not use the appliance with bare feet

• do not tug the power cord or the appliance in order to pull the plug out of the socket

• do not leave the appliance exposed to the weather (rain, sun, etc.)

• do not let children play with the appliance

8. Do not let anyone (including children) who is unable to operate the appliance safely (due to a mental, physical or sensory handicap, inexperience or incompetence) use this appliance unless under strict supervision or with the help of a responsible person.

9. When using the appliance in the bathroom, disconnect it from the mains after use, since leaving it near water can be hazardous even when it is switched off.

10. Before cleaning or servicing the appliance, disconnect it from the mains by pulling out the plug.

11. Should the appliance break down and/or not work properly, turn it off and do not tamper with it. If it needs repairing, take it to an authorised IMETEC Service Centre.

12. Do not attempt to replace the power cord. If it is damaged or needs replacing, contact an authorised IMETEC Service Centre.

13. To avoid dangerous overheating, we recommend unwinding the power cord completely during use and disconnecting the plug from the socket when the appliance is not in use.

14. Use a dry cloth to clean the appliance.

15. Never use hair sprays while the appliance is working.

16. Should you decide not to use the appliance any more, we suggest making it inoperative by cutting the power cord after removing the plug from the socket. We also recommend making all potentially dangerous parts of the appliance harmless, particularly for children who might be tempted to play with it.

Warning:

• Never immerse the appliance in water

• Do not use the appliance next to baths, sinks

or containers ﬁ lled with water

This line is the result of accurate traditional leather techniques in which natural methods are used so that the leather is particularly soft and with a velvety texture. These features of the leather are not defects but are desirable genuine characteristics.

USER INSTRUCTIONS

USEFUL ADVICE

Quickly gained experience in using your hair straightener will help you determine exactly how long to set the hair for the effect you want.

• Make sure your hair is dry, clean and free of any trace of

lacquer, styling foam or gel

• Brush out any tangles

• Start styling from the back of the neck, then on the sides

and end with the forehead

• When using the hair straightener and during the heating up

and cooling down phases, place it on a smooth and heatresistant surface

• While styling, take care not to bring the straightener too

close to sensitive areas of the face, the ears, the neck or the skin

• After use, let the hair straightener cool down completely

before putting it away

Warning:

• When you have ﬁ nished using the hair straightener,

make sure it has cooled down completely before putting it in the pouch (or inside any bag)

PREPARING THE HAIR

• Wash the hair as usual and brush out any tangles

• Dry the hair, brushing it from the roots to the tips

OPERATION

• Plug in the power cable (4) to the mains. Move the switch

(1) to position ON and wait until the plate is hot

• The device is functioning when the LED indicator (2) lights

up; the default temperature setting of the hair straightener is 210°C

• With one hand, hold the lock stretched out and with the

other hand slide the closed hair straightener from the roots to the ends

• When you have ﬁ nished styling, switch off the appliance by

unplugging the power cable (4) from the mains socket

Warning:

Never wind the power cord around the appliance.

Please note:

While you are using the appliance, you may notice some steam coming out, which is excess moisture in the hair that soon evaporates.

THE LOOKS YOU CAN ACHIEVE Straight look [Fig. A]

Insert a thin and limp lock of hair into the plates and starting from the root, slide the straightener down to the ends.

Curly look [Fig. B]

For the curl effect, use the hair straightener at temperatures over 180° C. Take a small lock of hair and insert it in the Bellissima Creativity hair straightener, horizontal to the lock. Roll the lock around the hair straightener. Turn the hair straightener 360° rolling hair around it until the lower part of the lock is facing outwards. Slowly slide the hair straightener down, holding the hair taut with your other hand. Do not excessively pull on the hair straightener or it will not slide. Do not hold hair too taut either. After releasing the hair, follow the movement of the curl with your hand.

Flick look (ﬂ icked up ends) [Fig. C]

Insert a thin and limp lock of hair into the plates and starting from the roots slide the straightener down. When you get near the ends, lift the straightener upwards and outwards until the lock of hair is released.

CLEANING

Only clean the plates and the leather handle with a soft, damp cloth:

• unplug the appliance (4)

• check that the plates (3) are cool

• clean the surface and leave to dry

DISPOSAL

The product packaging consists of recyclable materials. Dispose of these in an environmentally appropriate manner.

In accordance with EU directive 2002/96/EC, the appliance must be disposed of properly at the end of its service life. This involves the recycling of valuable substances contained within the appliance and reduces the impact on the environment. For more information, contact your local disposal company or the store where you purchased the appliance.

If repairs are required, contact a customer service centre authorised by IMETEC (see enclosed After Sales Service sheet), indicating the product model.

A manufacturer warranty is provided for the appliance. Details can be found on the enclosed warranty sheet.

BIZTONSÁGI UTASÍTÁSOK

1. Kicsomagolás után ellenőrizze a készülék épségét és azt, hogy nem láthatók-e rajta a szállítás miatt keletkezett sérülések. Ha bármilyen kétsége van, akkor ne használja a készüléket és vigye el egy felhatalmazott IMETEC szervizközpontba.

2. A csomagolóanyag nem játék! Ha műanyag zsák is a csomagolás része, tartsa azt távol gyermekektől (fulladásveszély).

3. A készülék csatlakoztatása előtt ellenőrizze, hogy az adattáblán szereplő értékek megfelelnek-e az elektromos hálózat adatainak. Az adatlap a készüléken található.

4. Ne használjon adaptereket, többszörös csatlakozóaljzatokat és/vagy hosszabbító kábeleket. Ha a készülék csatlakozódugasza és az aljzat nem illik egymáshoz, képzett szakemberrel cseréltesse ki a csatlakozót egy megfelelő típusúra.

5. A készüléket csak arra a célra szabad használni, amelyre tervezték, azaz háztartásban használatos hajsimítóként. Bármely más használat helytelennek tekintendõ, és ezért veszélyes. A gyártó nem vállal felelősséget a helytelen vagy nem megfelelő célú használatból eredő károkért.

6. A különleges védelem érdekében a fürdőszoba áramkörébe ajánlatos egy differenciálmegszakítót beépíteni, melynek normál különbözeti áram értéke 30 mA. Ennek telepítéséhez kérjen szaktanácsot.

7. Minden elektromos készülék használatakor be kell tartani bizonyos alapvető szabályokat. Ezek az alábbiak:

• soha ne érjen a készülékhez vizes vagy nedves kézzel vagy lábbal

• ne használja a készüléket mezítláb

• ne rángassa a csatlakozózsinórt vagy a készüléket, ha ki akarja húzni a dugót az aljzatból

• ne tegye ki a készüléket az időjárás hatásainak (eső, nap stb.)

• ne hagyja, hogy gyerekek játsszanak a készülékkel

8. Ne engedje, hogy olyan személyek használják a készüléket (a gyermekeket is beleértve), akik annak biztonságos működtetésére – akár mentális, ﬁ zikai, érzékszervi képességcsökkenés, tapasztalatlanság vagy akár hozzá nem értés miatt – nem képesek, illetve csak egy felelős személy felügyelete mellett használják azt.

9. Ha a készüléket fürdőszobában használja, használat után húzza ki a tápkábelt a fali aljzatból, mivel a készülék víz közelében hagyva kikapcsolt állapotban is veszélyes lehet.

10. A készülék tisztítása vagy javítása előtt válassza le azt a hálózatról a csatlakozódugó kihúzásával.

11. Ha a készülék meghibásodik és/vagy nem működik megfelelően, kapcsolja ki, és ne próbálja megjavítani. Ha javítás szükséges, akkor azt végeztesse hivatalos IMETEC szervizközpontban.

12. Ne próbálja kicserélni a csatlakozózsinórt. Ha javítás szükséges, akkor azt végeztesse hivatalos IMETEC szervizközpontban.

13. A veszélyes túlmelegedés elkerülése érdekében ajánljuk, hogy a csatlakozózsinórt használat közben teljesen tekerje le, majd használat után húzza ki a csatlakozót a fali aljzatból.

14. A készülék tisztítását száraz ruhával végezze.

15. A készülék működése közben ne használjon hajlakkszórót.
