AVVERTENZE SULLA SICUREZZA

1. Dopo aver tolto il prodotto dalla sua confezione,
assicurarsi che l’apparecchio sia integro e che non
ci siano segni visibili di danneggiamento dovuto al
trasporto. Qualora si avessero dei dubbi, non utilizzare
l’apparecchio e portarlo presso un Centro di Assistenza
IMETEC autorizzato.

2. La confezione non è un giocattolo! Se presente, tenere
il sacchetto di plastica lontano dalla portata dei bambini
(rischio di soffocamento).

3. Prima di procedere al collegamento dell’apparecchio,
verifi care che i dati tecnici riportati sul dato targa
della potenza nominale siano compatibili con la rete
di alimentazione elettrica. Il dato targa è riportato
sull’apparecchio.

4. Non utilizzare adattatori, prese multiple e/o prolunghe.
Se la spina e la presa non sono compatibili, chiedere
ad un tecnico qualifi cato di sostituire la spina con un
modello adatto.

5. Questo dispositivo deve essere usato solamente in
base allo scopo per cui è stato destinato, vale a dire
come arricciacapelli ad uso domestico. Qualsiasi altro
utilizzo deve essere considerato improprio e, pertanto,
pericoloso. Il produttore non può essere ritenuto
responsabile per i danni causati dall’uso improprio o
scorretto.

6. Per una maggiore protezione, si raccomanda di installare
un interruttore di circuito differenziale con una corrente
differenziale nominale di funzionamento ad un massimo
di 30 mA nel circuito elettrico del bagno. Per questa
operazione, rivolgersi ad un installatore.

7. L’uso di altri apparecchi elettrici comporta l’osservanza
di alcune regole fondamentali. In particolare:

• Non toccare mai l’apparecchio con mani o piedi bagnati
o umidi

• Non usare l’apparecchio a piedi nudi

• Per staccare la spina dalla presa, non tirare il cavo di
alimentazione o l’apparecchio

• Non esporre l’apparecchio ad elementi atmosferici
(pioggia, sole, ecc.)

• Non lasciare che bambini giochino con l’apparecchio

8. Non lasciare che persone (compresi i bambini) non
in grado di far funzionare l’apparecchio in modo
sicuro (a causa di handicap mentali, fi sici o sensoriali,
di inesperienza o incompetenza) utilizzino questo
apparecchio, a meno che non ci sia la stretta sorveglianza
o l’aiuto di una persona responsabile.

9. Quando si utilizza l’apparecchio nel bagno, scollegarlo
dall’alimentazione di corrente dopo l’uso in quanto, se
lasciato vicino all’acqua, può rappresentare un pericolo
anche quando è spento.

10. Prima di procedere alla pulizia o alle operazioni di
manutenzione dell’apparecchio, scollegarlo dalla rete di
alimentazione staccando la spina.

11. Se l’apparecchio si dovesse rompere e/o non funzionasse
correttamente, spegnerlo e non manometterlo. Se è
necessaria una riparazione, portarlo presso un Centro
di Assistenza IMETEC autorizzato.

12. Non tentare di sostituire il cavo di alimentazione. Se è
danneggiato o necessita di riparazione, contattare un
Centro di Assistenza IMETEC autorizzato.

13. Per evitare un pericoloso surriscaldamento, si
raccomanda di srotolare completamente il cavo di
alimentazione durante l’uso e di scollegare la spina
dalla presa quando l’apparecchio non è utilizzato.

14. Per pulire l’apparecchio, usare un panno asciutto.

15. Non usare mai spray per capelli mentre l’apparecchio è
in uso.

16. Qualora si dovesse decidere di non utilizzare più
l’apparecchio, si suggerisce di renderlo inoperante
tagliandone il cavo di alimentazione dopo aver staccato
la spina dalla presa elettrica. Si raccomanda inoltre di
rendere innocue tutte le parti potenzialmente pericolose
dell’apparecchio, in particolar modo per i bambini, i quali
potrebbero essere tentati dal volerci giocare.

Avvertenza:

• Non immergere mai l’apparecchio in acqua

• Non usare l’apparecchio nelle vicinanze di

vasche da bagno, lavandini o di contenitori
pieni d’acqua

ISTRUZIONI PER L’UTENTE

CONSIGLI UTILI

L’apprendimento veloce della modalità di utilizzo
dell’arricciacapelli permetterà di determinare esattamente
il tempo di applicazione per ottenere l’effetto desiderato sui
capelli

• Ogni volta che si usa l’arricciacapelli, assicurarsi che i propri

capelli siano completamente asciutti, puliti e senza lacca,
mousse o gel per capelli

• Pettinare i capelli assicurandosi che non ci siano nodi

• Iniziare la piega dalla nuca, procedere ai lati e terminare

sulla fronte

• Durante l’uso, il riscaldamento e il raffreddamento

dell’arricciacapelli, posizionare l’apparecchio su una
superfi cie liscia e resistente al calore

• Mentre si procede con la piega, fare attenzione a non

avvicinare troppo l’arricciacapelli alle aree sensibili del viso,
delle orecchie, del collo o della cute

• Dopo l’uso, lasciare raffreddare completamente

l’arricciacapelli prima di riporlo.

Avvertenza:

• Dopo aver terminato di usare l’arricciacapelli,

assicurarsi che si sia completamente raffreddato prima
di riporlo

• Non avvolgere mai il cavo di alimentazione attorno

all’apparecchio

PREPARAZIONE DEI CAPELLI

• Lavare come d’abitudine i capelli e spazzolarli districando

tutti i nodi

• Asciugare i capelli e spazzolarli dalle radici alle punte

FUNZIONAMENTO

• Collegare il cavo di alimentazione (6) alla rete di alimentazione

e posizionarlo su una superfi cie liscia resistente al calore.
Premere il tasto On (3) per accendere l’apparecchio

• Selezionare la temperatura desiderata usando il dispositivo

di regolazione della temperatura (tasto +/- ) (4)

• Prendere una ciocca di capelli non troppo larga tra le dita;

con ciocche più piccole si otterranno dei ricci più spessi

• Premere la leva della pinza e con il dito indice [Fig A],

avvolgere la ciocca tra la pinza (2) l’arricciacapelli

• È importante che la parte fi nale della ciocca sia avvolta

completamente intorno all’punta fredda [Fig B]

• Chiudere la pinza (2)

• Attendere fi no all’ottenimento della forma desiderata della

ciocca prima di rilasciarla dall’punta fredda aprendo la pinza
(2) [Fig C]

• Al termine della piega, spegnere l’apparecchio premendo

il tasto Off (5) e staccando il cavo di alimentazione dalla
presa (6)

Da notare:

E’ possibile che durante la piega si sviluppi del vapore;
si tratta dell’umidità in eccesso nei capelli che evapora.

REGOLAZIONE DELLA TEMPERATURA

L’arricciacapelli è dotato di un sistema di controllo della
temperatura digitale. Ciò consente di regolare la temperatura
dell’arricciacapelli in base al tipo di capelli e all’acconciatura
desiderata. Premere il tasto + per aumentare la temperatura
e il tasto - per diminuirla. La temperatura selezionata apparirà
sul display LCD (7).

È possibile scegliere tra le seguenti temperature:

• SOFT : Riccio morbido con temperature comprese tra
140°C e 170°C

• WAVY : Riccio ondulato con temperature comprese tra
170°C e 190°C

• CURLY : Riccio defi nito con temperature comprese tra
190°C e 210°C

PULIZIA

Pulire solamente l’arricciacapelli e l’impugnatura (8) con un
panno morbido e umido:

• Scollegare l’apparecchio dalla rete di alimentazione

• Verifi care che l’arricciacapelli sia freddo

• Pulire la superfi cie e lasciarla asciugare

Prima di riutilizzare l’apparecchio, accertarsi che
tutte le parti pulite a umido siano completamente
asciutte!

SMALTIMENTO

L’imballaggio del prodotto è composto da materiali
riciclabili. Smaltirlo in conformità alle norme di tutela
ambientale.

Ai sensi della norma europea 2002/96/CE,
l’apparecchio in disuso deve essere smaltito in
modo conforme al termine del suo ciclo di utilizzo.
Ciò riguarda il riciclaggio di sostanze utili contenute
nell’apparecchio e permette la riduzione dell’impatto
ambientale. Per maggiori informazioni, rivolgersi
all’ente di smaltimento locale o al rivenditore
dell’apparecchio.

ASSISTENZA E GARANZIA

Per le riparazioni, rivolgersi al servizio autorizzato di
assistenza ai clienti IMETEC (leggere il foglio sull’assistenza
post-vendita in allegato) indicando il tipo di prodotto.

IMETEC would like to thank you for purchasing this product.
We are convinced that you will appreciate the quality and
reliability of this appliance, which was developed and
manufactured with customer satisfaction always in mind.
These operating instructions were created based on the
European standard EN 62079.

IMPORTANT!

Instructions and information for safe use

Before using the product, carefully read the instructions
and in particular the warnings in this manual and abide by
them. Keep this manual and the image section for future
reference for the entire product life. In case you pass the
appliance on to another user, make sure to include also
this documentation.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

1. After unpacking, make sure that the appliance is intact
with no signs of damage caused by transport. Should
you have any doubts, do not use the appliance and take
it to an authorised IMETEC Service Centre.

2. The packaging is not a toy! If present, keep the plastic
bag out of the reach of children (risk of suffocation).

3. Before connecting the appliance, check that the rating
plate specifi cations correspond to the electrical mains
supply. The plate is on the appliance.

4. Do not use adapters, multiple sockets and/or extension
cords. If the appliance’s plug and the socket are
incompatible, have the socket replaced with a suitable
type by qualifi ed staff.

5. This appliance must only be used for the purpose for
which it has been designed, that is, as a curling tongs
for household use. Any other use is to be considered
improper and therefore dangerous. The manufacturer
cannot be held responsible for any damage due to
improper or incorrect use.

6. For extra protection, you are advised to install a
differential circuit breaker with a nominal operating
differential current of max. 30 mA in the electric circuit of
the bathroom. Ask the installer for advice about this.

7. The use of any electric appliance implies the observance
of some fundamental rules. Specifi cally:

• Never touch the appliance with hands or feet that are
wet or damp

• Do not use the appliance with bare feet

• Do not tug the power cord or the appliance in order to
pull the plug out of the socket

• Do not leave the appliance exposed to the weather
(rain, sun, etc.)

• Do not let children play with the appliance

8. Do not let anyone (including children) who is unable to
operate the appliance safely (due to a mental, physical
or sensory handicap, inexperience or incompetence)
use this appliance unless under strict supervision or with
the help of a responsible person.

9. When using the appliance in the bathroom, disconnect it
from the mains after use, since leaving it near water can
be hazardous even when it is switched off.

10. Before cleaning or servicing the appliance, disconnect it
from the mains by pulling out the plug.

11. Should the appliance break down and/or not work
properly, turn it off and do not tamper with it. If it needs
repairing, take it to an authorised IMETEC Service
Centre.

12. Do not attempt to replace the power cord. If it is damaged
or needs replacing, contact an authorised IMETEC
Service Centre.

13. To avoid dangerous overheating, we recommend
unwinding the power cord completely during use
and disconnecting the plug from the socket when the
appliance is not in use.

14. Use a dry cloth to clean the appliance.

15. Never use hair sprays while the appliance is working.

16. Should you decide not to use the appliance any more,
we suggest making it inoperative by cutting the power
cord after removing the plug from the socket. We also
recommend making all potentially dangerous parts of
the appliance harmless, particularly for children who
might be tempted to play with it.

Warning:

• Never immerse the appliance in water

• Do not use the appliance next to baths, sinks

or containers fi lled with water

USER INSTRUCTIONS

USEFUL ADVICE

Quickly gained experience in using your curling tongs will
help you determine exactly how long to set the hair for the
effect you want

• Every time you use the curling tongs, make sure that your

hair is thoroughly dry, clean and free of any hair spray,
mousse or gel

• Brush out any tangles

• Start styling from the back of the neck, then on the sides

and end with the forehead

• When using the curling tongs and during the heating up

and cooling down phases, place it on a smooth and heat­resistant surface

• While styling, take care not to bring the curling tongs too

close to sensitive areas of the face, the ears, the neck or the
skin

• After use, leave the curling tongs to cool down completely

before putting it away

Warning:

• When you have fi nished using the curling tongs, make

sure it has cooled down completely before putting it
away

• Never wind the power cord around the appliance

PREPARING THE HAIR

• Wash the hair as usual and brush out any tangles

• Dry the hair, brushing it from the roots to the tips

OPERATION

• Connect the power cord (6) to the power supply and place

it on a smooth heat-resistance surface. Press the On button
(3) to turn on the appliance

• Select a suitable temperature by using the temperature

control (+/- button) (4)

• Take a small lock of hair between your fi ngers; the smaller

the locks, the thicker the curls

• Push the lever of the clamp and with your index fi nger

[Fig A], wrap the lock between the tongs and the clamp (2)

• It is important that the fi nal part of the lock be wound entirely

around the tong [Fig B]

• Close the clamp (2)

• Wait until the lock takes the desired shape before releasing

it from the tong by opening the clamp (2) [Fig C]

• When you have fi nished styling, switch off the appliance by

pressing the Off button (5) and unplugging the power cord
(6)

Please note:

While you are using the appliance, you may notice some
steam coming out, which is excess moisture in the hair
that soon evaporates.

TEMPERATURE REGULATION

Your curling tongs is equipped with a digital temperature
control system. This allows you to set the temperature of
the curling tongs according to your hair type and the kind of
style you want. Press the + button to raise temperature and

- button to lower it. Selected temperature will appear on the

LCD display (7).

It is possible to select following temperatures:

• SOFT for temperature between 140°C - 170°C

• WAVY for temperature between 170°C - 190°C

• CURLY for temperature between 190°C - 210°C

CLEANING

Only clean the curling tongs and the handle (8) with a soft,
damp cloth:

• Unplug the appliance from the power supply

• Make sure that curling tongs are cool

• Clean the surface and leave to dry

Before using the appliance again, make sure
that all the parts that have been cleaned are
completely dry!

DISPOSAL

The product packaging consists of recyclable
materials. Dispose of these in an environmentally
appropriate manner.

In accordance with EU directive 2002/96/EC, the
appliance must be disposed of properly at the end of
its service life. This involves the recycling of valuable
substances contained within the appliance and
reduces the impact on the environment. For more
information, contact your local disposal company or
the store where you purchased the appliance.

SERVICE AND WARRANTY

If repairs are required, contact a customer service centre
authorised by IMETEC (see enclosed After Sales Service
sheet), indicating the product model.

A manufacturer warranty is provided for the appliance. Details
can be found on the enclosed warranty sheet.

BIZTONSÁGI UTASÍTÁSOK

1. Kicsomagolás után ellenőrizze a készülék épségét
és azt, hogy nem láthatók-e rajta a szállítás miatt
keletkezett sérülések. Ha bármilyen kétsége van, akkor
ne használja a készüléket és vigye el egy felhatalmazott
IMETEC szervizközpontba.

2. A csomagolóanyag nem játék! Ha műanyag zsák is
a csomagolás része, tartsa azt távol gyermekektől
(fulladásveszély).

3. A készülék csatlakoztatása előtt ellenőrizze, hogy
az adattáblán szereplő értékek megfelelnek-e az
elektromos hálózat adatainak. Az adatlap a készüléken
található.

4. Ne használjon adaptereket, többszörös
csatlakozóaljzatokat és/vagy hosszabbító kábeleket.
Ha a készülék csatlakozódugasza és az aljzat nem
illik egymáshoz, képzett szakemberrel cseréltesse ki a
csatlakozót egy megfelelő típusúra.

5. A készüléket csak arra a célra szabad használni,
amelyre tervezték, azaz háztartásban használatos
hajbodorítóként. Bármely más használat helytelennek
tekintendő, és ezért veszélyes. A gyártó nem vállal
felelősséget a helytelen vagy nem megfelelő célú
használatból eredő károkért.

6. A különleges védelem érdekében a fürdőszoba
áramkörébe ajánlatos egy differenciálmegszakítót
beépíteni, melynek normál különbözetiáram-értéke
30 mA. Ennek telepítéséhez kérjen szaktanácsot.

7. Minden elektromos készülék használatakor be kell tartani
bizonyos alapvető szabályokat. Ezek az alábbiak:

• Soha ne érjen a készülékhez vizes vagy nedves kézzel
vagy lábbal

• Ne használja a készüléket mezítláb

• Ne rángassa a csatlakozózsinórt vagy a készüléket,
ha ki akarja húzni a dugót az aljzatból

• Ne tegye ki a készüléket az időjárás hatásainak (eső,
nap, stb.)

• Ne hagyja, hogy gyerekek játsszanak a készülékkel

8. Ne engedje, hogy olyan személyek használják a
készüléket (a gyermekeket is beleértve), akik annak
biztonságos működtetésére (akár mentális, fi zikai,
érzékszervi képességcsökkenés, tapasztalatlanság
vagy akár hozzá nem értés miatt) nem képesek, illetve
csak egy felelős személy felügyelete mellett használják
azt.

9. Ha a készüléket fürdőszobában használja, használat
után húzza ki a tápkábelt a fali aljzatból, mivel a készülék
víz közelében hagyva kikapcsolt állapotban is veszélyes
lehet.

10. A készülék tisztítása vagy javítása előtt válassza le azt a
hálózatról a csatlakozódugó kihúzásával.

11. Ha a készülék meghibásodik és/vagy nem működik
megfelelően, kapcsolja ki, és ne próbálja megjavítani.
Ha javítás szükséges, akkor azt végeztesse hivatalos
IMETEC szervizközpontban.

12. Ne próbálja kicserélni a csatlakozózsinórt. Ha javítás
szükséges, akkor azt végeztesse hivatalos IMETEC
szervizközpontban.

13. A veszélyes túlmelegedés elkerülése érdekében
ajánljuk, hogy a csatlakozózsinórt használat közben
teljesen tekerje le, majd használat után húzza ki a
csatlakozót a fali aljzatból.

14. A készülék tisztítását száraz ruhával végezze.

15. A készülék működése közben ne használjon
hajlakkszórót.

16. Ha úgy dönt, hogy nem használja tovább a készüléket,
akkor tegye azt használhatatlanná a csatlakozózsinór
elvágásával, miután kihúzta azt az elektromos aljzatból.
Szintén ajánlatos ártalmatlanítani a potenciálisan
veszélyes alkatrészeket, különösen a gyermekek
érdekében, akiket játékra csábíthat.

Figyelem:

• Soha ne merítse vízbe a készüléket

• Ne használja a készüléket vízzel telt fürdőkád,

egyéb tartályok vagy tárolóedények mellett
