Flex Arm System
The Flex Arm utilizes "pop-bead" components which provide the
necessary holding power yet effortless repositioning.
On land, the Flex Arm may not support the full weight of the
DS51 Strobe. Over time the pop-beads will loosen slightly and
may not hold the strobe in position on the surface. This is
normal and will not adversely affect th
underwater.
Additional pop-beads are available for purchase in four-piece
lengths (Ikelite Product 9573.44).
Installation Instructions (Illustration on reverse side):
1. Determine the desired length of arm and add or subtract
"pop-bead" components from the Flex Arm as necessary.
2. If not already attached, push the Flex Arm onto the Stem Ball as
shown.
3. Push the DS51 Strobe Mou
of the Flex Arm. Firm pressure is necessary to attach the
components.
4. Adjust strobe position as needed while underwater.
5. Whenever disassembling the unit, leave one pop-bead attached
to both the DS51 Strobe Mount and the Stem Ball.
CAUTION: Do not carry your system by the Flex Arm. The
Flex Arm is not designed to be used as a carrying handle.
