• Place the unit on a level surface away from sources of direct sunlight or excessive heat.
• Protect your furniture when placing your unit on a natural wood and lacquered finish. A cloth or other protective material
should be placed between it and the furniture.
• Clean your unit with a soft cloth moistened only with mild soap and water. Stronger cleaning agents, such as Benzene,
thinner or similar materials can damage the surface of the unit.

Open battery compartment located inside unit. Insert 5
“AA” batteries (not included) as indicated on diagram.
Unit can now play iPod/iPhone. Batteries will not charge
iPod/iPhone.

Connect AC adaptor to the DC jack (left side of iP38) and
plug the other end into a working wall socket to charge and
play iPod/iPhone. Does not charge batteries.

Select the dock insert for your iPod/iPhone model from the
table above and place insert in dock.
Never dock an iPod/iPhone without an insert in place.
Gently place iPod/iPhone on the connector plug in dock.
Press Power Button to ON. Unit and iPod/iPhone will
turn on. Adjust volume by pressing the

+ or – Button.
