του συμπιεστή, πρέπει να θεωρείται εντελώς κανονικός.

7. Σχηματισμός υγρασίας στα εξωτερικά τοιχώματα του
προϊόντος.
• Είναι συνήθης ο σχηματισμός υγρασίας σε ιδιαίτερες
κλιματικές συνθήκες (υγρασία ανώτερη από 85%) ή αν το
προϊόν έχει τακτοποιηθεί σε δωμάτια με υγρασία ή λίγο
αεριζόμενα. Αυτό, ωστόσο, δεν προϋποθέτει καμία επιδείνωση
των επιδόσεων του προϊόντος.
8. Το στρώμα πάγου στα εσωτερικά τοιχώματα του προϊόντος
δεν είναι ομοιόμορφο.
• Αυτό το φαινόμενο πρέπει να θεωρείται φυσιολογικό.

1. Συσκευασία
Το υλικό συσκευασίας είναι 100% ανακυκλώσιμο κι είναι
σημασμένο με το σύμβολο ανακύκλωσης . Για τη διάθεσή του
ακολουθείτε τους τοπικούς κανονισμούς. Το υλικό συσκευασίας
(πλαστικές σακούλες, τεμάχια φελιζόλ, κλπ...) πρέπει να
διατηρείται μακριά από τα παιδιά εφόσον αποτελεί πιθανή εστία
κινδύνου. .
2. Αποκομιδή
Η συσκευή έχει κατασκευαστεί με ανακυκλώσιμο υλικό
Αυτή η συσκευή είναι σημασμένη σε συμμόρφωση με την
Ευρωπαϊκή Οδηγία 2002/96/ΕΚ, Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment (WEEE- Άχρηστος Ηλεκτρικός κι Ηλεκτρονικός
Εξοπλισμός). Βεβαιούμενοι ότι αυτή η συσκευή αποκομίζεται με
σωστό τρόπο, συνεισφέρετε στην πρόληψη των δυνητικών
αρνητικών επιπτώσεων για το περιβάλλον και την υγεία.
Το σύμβολο πάνω στη συσκευή, ή στα έγγραφα που τη
συνοδεύουν, υποδεικνύει ότι αυτή η συσκευή δεν πρέπει να
μεταχειριστεί ως οικιακό απόρριμμα αλλά πρέπει να παραδοθεί
στο ενδεδειγμένο σημείο περισυλλογής για την ανακύκλωση

όπου αγοράσατε τη συσκευή.
Πληροφορίες:
Αυτή η συσκευή δεν περιέχει CFC. Το ψυκτικό κύκλωμα περιέχει
R134a (HFC) ή R600a (HC), βλέπε ετικέτα αριθμού μητρώου
στο εσωτερικό της συσκευής. Για τις συσκευές με
Ισoβoυτάvιo (R600a): το ισoβoυτάvιo είναι ένα φυσικό αέριο

INSTALLATION
• Please refer to the chapter "BEFORE USING THE
APPLIANCE".
• Unpack the appliance.
• Remove the 4 protection pieces inserted between
lid and appliance.
• Ensure that the defrosting water drainage plug (if
provided) is correctly positioned (4).
• For best operation of the appliance and in order to
avoid damage when the lid is opened, leave a space of
at least 7 cm from the rear wall and 7 cm at the sides.
• Fit the accessories (if provided).
1. Thermostat: it can be used to adjust the internal
temperature of the appliance.
2. Red LED (if provided): Indicates that the appliance
temperature is not sufficiently low.
3. Green LED (if provided): indicates that the appliance is on.
4. Yellow LED (if provided): when on, it indicates that the
fast freeze function has been activated.
5. Fast freeze pushbutton (if provided):
activates/deactivates the fast freeze function.
The exact configuration of the controls may vary
according to the model.
Switching on the appliance
• The appliance is factory set for optimum operation at a
temperature of -18°C.
• Plug in the appliance.
• The green LED lights up (if provided).
• Also the red LED (if provided) will switch on because the
temperature inside the appliance is not yet sufficiently low
for food storage. The red LED will normally switch off
within the first six hours after the appliance is switched on.
• After connecting the appliance to the mains supply and when
the optimal temperature has been reached (this phase takes
about 1 hour during which the lid will not open), ensure that
the fast freeze button is not pressed (the yellow LED, if
provided, is off).
• Place food inside the product only when the red LED (if
provided) has switched off.
• Thanks to the efficient lid seal, the appliance lid will not reopen easily immediately after closing. Wait a few minutes
before re-opening the lid of the appliance.
Temperature Adjustment
Use the thermostat to select the ideal storage temperature. To
adjust the internal temperature, proceed as follows:
• Turn the thermostat knob to 1 for a storage temperature
that is less cold.
• Turn the thermostat knob to 6 / for a colder storage
temperature.
• For partial loads, or when the load indicator is below the "e"
symbol inside the appliance (if present), it is advisable to
move the thermostat to the lower position (on "e", if present
on the thermostat scale).

BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE
Your new appliance is designed exclusively for domestic use
and for storing frozen food, freezing fresh food and making
ice cubes.
Regulations require that the appliance is earthed.
The manufacturer declines all liability for injury to
persons or animals and for damage to property
resulting from failure to observe the above
procedures and reminders.
1. After unpacking, make sure that the appliance is
undamaged and that the lid closes perfectly tight. Any
damage must be reported to your dealer within 24
hours after delivery of the appliance.
2. Wait at least two hours before switching the appliance
on in order to ensure the refrigerant circuit is fully
efficient.
3. Installation of the appliance and electrical connections
must be carried out by a qualified electrician, in
accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and
local safety regulations.
4. Clean the inside of the appliance before using it.
• Before connecting the appliance to the mains supply,
ensure that the voltage corresponds to that given on the
rating plate located on the rear of the appliance.
• Electrical connections must be made in accordance
with local regulations.
FREEZING FOOD
Preparation of fresh food for freezing
• Before freezing, wrap and seal fresh food in: aluminium
foil, cling film, air and water-tight plastic bags,
polyethylene containers with lids, provided they are
suitable for freezing foods.
• Food must be fresh, mature and of prime quality in order
to obtain high quality frozen food.
• Fresh vegetables and fruit should preferably be frozen as
soon as they are picked to maintain the full original
nutritional value, consistency, colour and flavour.
• Always leave hot food to cool before placing in the
appliance.
Freezing fresh food
• Place foods to be frozen in direct contact with the walls
of appliance:
A) - foods to be frozen,
B) - foods already frozen.
• Avoid placing foods to be
frozen in direct contact with
food already frozen.
• For best and fastest freezing,
foods should be split into small
portions; this will also be useful
when the frozen items are to
be used.

Advice for storing frozen
food
When purchasing frozen food products:
• Ensure that the packaging is not damaged (frozen food in
damaged packaging may have deteriorated). If the
package is swollen or has damp patches, it may not have
been stored under optimal conditions and defrosting may
have already begun.
• When shopping, leave frozen food purchases until last
and transport the products in a thermally insulated cool
bag.
• Once at home, place the frozen foods immediately in the
appliance.
• Avoid, or reduce temperature variations to the
minimum. Respect the best-before date on the package.
• Always observe the storage information on the package.
Note:
Eat fully or partially defrosted foods immediately.
Do not refreeze unless the food is cooked after it has
thawed. Once cooked, the thawed food can be refrozen.
If there is a long power failure:
• Do not open the appliance lid except to place ice packs
(if provided) over the frozen foods on the right and left
of the appliance. This will slow down the rise in
temperature.

• Μετά την εγκατάσταση βεβαιωθείτε ότι το προϊόν δεν

• Μη συντηρείτε υγρά σε γυάλινα δοχεία μέσα στο προϊόν,
επειδή θα μπορούσαν να σπάσουν.
• Μην τρώτε παγάκια ή γρανίτες αμέσως μόλις τα βγάζετε από
τον καταψύκτη γιατί μπορεί να προκαλέσουν εγκαύματα λόγω
ψύχους.

• Ελέγχετε αν η τάση πάνω στην ετικέτα μητρώου αντιστοιχεί
στην τάση της κατοικίας σας.
• Μην καταπίνετε το υγρό (ατοξικό) που περιέχεται στους
συσσωρευτές ψύχους, αν υπάρχει.
• Περιορίστε τον αριθμό ανοιγμάτων της πόρτας του προϊόντος.
ΑΠΟΨΥΞΗ ΤΟΥ ΠΡΟΪΟΝΤΟΣ
Συνιστούμε να πραγματοποιείτε την
απόψυξη όταν το πάχος του πάγου
που σχηματίζεται στα τοιχώματα
φτάνει στα 5-6 mm.
• Αποσυνδέετε το προϊόν από το
ηλεκτρικό δίκτυο.
• Βγάζετε τα τρόφιμα από το προϊόν,
τα τυλίγετε σε μερικά φύλλα
εφημερίδας και τα τοποθετείτε σε
ένα πολύ δροσερό σημείο ή σε ένα
φορητό ψυγείο.
• Αφήνετε ανοιχτή την πόρτα του
προϊόντος.
• Βγάζετε το εσωτερικό πώμα του αγωγού απορροής (όπου
προβλέπεται).
• Βγάζετε το εξωτερικό πώμα του αγωγού απορροής (όπου
προβλέπεται) και το τοποθετείτε όπως στην εικόνα.
• Τακτοποιείτε μια λεκανίτσα κάτω από τον αγωγό απορροής
για τη συλλογή του εναπομένοντος νερού. Όπου
προβλέπεται, χρησιμοποιείτε το διαχωριστικό.
• Η απόψυξη μπορεί να επιταχυνθεί χρησιμοποιώντας μια
σπάτουλα για να βοηθήσετε την απόσπαση του πάγου από τα
τοιχώματα του προϊόντος.
• Αφαιρείτε τον πάγο από τον πυθμένα του προϊόντος.
• Για την αποτροπή ανεπανόρθωτων ζημιών στο θάλαμο, μη
χρησιμοποιείτε αιχμηρά ή κοφτερά μεταλλικά εργαλεία για να
αφαιρέσετε τον πάγο.
• Μη χρησιμοποιείτε λειαντικά προϊόντα και μη ζεσταίνετε με
τεχνητό τρόπο το θάλαμο.
• Στεγνώνετε επιμελώς το εσωτερικό του προϊόντος.
• Στο τέλος της απόψυξης, επανατοποθετείτε το πώμα στη θέση
του.
ΣΥΝΤΗΡΗΣΗ ΚΑΙ ΚΑΘΑΡΙΣΜΟΣ
• Αφαιρείτε τον πάγο που σχηματίζεται στα άνω άκρα (βλέπε
Οδηγό Ανεύρεσης Βλαβών).
• Μετά την απόψυξη, καθαρίζετε το εσωτερικό
χρησιμοποιώντας ένα σφουγγάρι υγραμένο με χλιαρό νερό
και/ή ουδέτερο απορρυπαντικό.
• Καθαρίζετε το άνοιγμα πλευρικού αερισμού (όπου
προβλέπεται).
• Απομακρύνετε τη σκόνη από το συμπυκνωτή που βρίσκεται
στο πίσω μέρος του προϊόντος.
Πριν εκτελέσετε χειρισμούς συντήρησης, βγάζετε το φις από την
πρίζα του ρεύματος. Μην χρησιμοποιείτε αλοιφές λείανσης ή
συρματάκια, ούτε προϊόντα αφαίρεσης λεκέδων (π.χ. ακετόνη,
τριχλωροαιθυλένιο) για να καθαρίσετε το προϊόν.
Για να εγγυάται η βέλτιστη λειτουργία του προϊόντος, συνιστάται
να πραγματοποιείτε τους χειρισμούς καθαρισμού και
συντήρησης τουλάχιστον μια φορά το χρόνο.
ΑΝΤΙΚΑΤΑΣΤΑΣΗ ΤΟΥ ΛΑΜΠΑΣ ΦΩΤΙΣΜΟΥ ΠΟΡΤΑΣ
• Αποσυνδέετε το προϊόν από το
ηλεκτρικό δίκτυο.
• Βγάζετε την οπαλίνα ακολουθώντας
τις ενδείξεις της εικόνας με τη σειρά
που υποδεικνύεται.
• Ξεβιδώνετε τη λάμπα και την
αλλάζετε με μία καινούρια ίδιων Volt
και Watt.
• Επανατοποθετείτε την οπαλίνα κι επανασυνδέετε το προϊόν
στο ηλεκτρικό δίκτυο.

• Το προϊόν εγκαταστάθηκε σε τέλεια οριζοντιωμένο επίπεδο;
• Το προϊόν είναι σε επαφή με άλλα έπιπλα ή αντικείμενα που

Το προϊόν που αγοράσατε είναι αποκλειστικά
οικιακής χρήσης και για τη συντήρηση
καταψυγμένων τροφίμων, την κατάψυξη νωπών
τροφίμων και την παραγωγή πάγου.
Η γείωση του προϊόντος είναι υποχρεωτική σύμφωνα
με τους όρους του νόμου. Ο κατασκευαστής
αρνείται κάθε ευθύνη για ενδεχόμενες βλάβες σε
πρόσωπα, ζώα ή αντικείμενα λόγω της παράβλεψης
των υποδεικνυόμενων κανόνων.
1. Αφού αποσυσκευάσετε τη συσκευή, βεβαιώνεστε
ότι δεν έχει ζημιές κι ότι τα συρτάρια κλείνουν
τέλεια. Τυχόν ζημιές πρέπει να αναφέρονται στο
κατάστημα πώλησης εντός 24 ωρών από την
παράδοση του προϊόντος.
2. Συνιστούμε να περιμένετε τουλάχιστον δύο ώρες
πριν θέσετε σε λειτουργία τη συσκευή, για να
επιτραπεί στο ψυκτικό κύκλωμα να είναι πλήρως
αποδοτικό.
3. Βεβαιώνεστε ότι η εγκατάσταση κι η ηλεκτρική
σύνδεση πραγματοποιούνται από έναν ειδικευμένο
τεχνικό σύμφωνα με τις οδηγίες του
κατασκευαστή και σε συμμόρφωση με τους
τοπικούς κανόνες για την ασφάλεια.
4. Καθαρίστε το εσωτερικό του προϊόντος πριν το
χρησιμοποιήσετε.
• Πριν συνδέσετε το προϊόν στο ηλεκτρικό δίκτυο,
βεβαιωθείτε ότι η τάση αντιστοιχεί με τις ενδείξεις
που χορηγούνται στο πινακίδιο αύξοντα αριθμού
που βρίσκεται στο πίσω μέρος του προϊόντος.
• Οι ηλεκτρικές συνδέσεις πρέπει να
συμμορφώνονται με τους τοπικούς κανονισμούς.
ΚΑΤΑΨΥΞΗ ΤΩΝ ΤΡΟΦΙΜΩΝ
Προετοιμασία των νωπών τροφίμων προς κατάψυξη
• Τυλίγετε και σφραγίζετε τα νωπά τρόφιμα προς
κατάψυξη σε: αλουμινόχαρτα, διαφανείς
μεμβράνες, πλαστικές αδιάβροχες συσκευασίες,
δοχεία πολυαιθυλενίου με σκεπάσματα, δοχεία
κατάψυξης, αρκεί να ενδείκνυνται για τρόφιμα που
καταψύχονται.
• Τα τρόφιμα πρέπει να είναι νωπά, ώριμα και άριστης
ποιότητας.
• Νωπά φρούτα και λαχανικά πρέπει να καταψύχονται
όσο το δυνατό πιο σύντομα μετά τη συλλογή τους,
για να διατηρούνται άθικτες οι θρεπτικές ουσίες, η
σύσταση, το χρώμα και η γεύση αυτών των
τροφίμων.
• Αφήνετε πάντα τα ζεστά τρόφιμα να κρυώσουν πριν
τα βάλετε μέσα στο προϊόν.
Κατάψυξη των νωπών τροφίμων
• Τοποθετείτε τα τρόφιμα προς κατάψυξη σε άμεση
επαφή με τα κάθετα τοιχώματα του προϊόντος:
A) - τρόφιμα προς κατάψυξη,
B) - ήδη καταψυγμένα τρόφιμα.
• Αποφύγετε να
τακτοποιήσετε τα τρόφιμα
προς κατάψυξη σε άμεση
επαφή με τα ήδη
καταψυγμένα τρόφιμα.
• Για την επίτευξη της
καλύτερης και ταχύτερης
κατάψυξης, χωρίζετε τα
τρόφιμα σε μικρές μερίδες.
Αυτή η διευθέτηση θα είναι
χρήσιμη επίσης τη στιγμή
που θα χρησιμοποιήσετε τα
καταψυγμένα τρόφιμα.
1. Τουλάχιστον 24 ώρες πριν
προβείτε στην κατάψυξη νωπών τροφίμων στο
προϊόν, πατάτε το κουμπί ταχείας κατάψυξης. Για
τα προϊόντα που δεν έχουν αυτό το κουμπί,

Συμβουλές για τη συντήρηση των καταψυγμένων
τροφίμων
Κατά την αγορά καταψυγμένων τροφίμων, βεβαιώνεστε
ότι:
• Η συσκευασία ή το πακέτο είναι άθικτα, διαφορετικά
το τρόφιμο μπορεί να αλλοιωθεί. Αν ένα πακέτο
είναι διογκωμένο ή παρουσιάζει λεκέδες υγρασίας,
δεν έχει συντηρηθεί σε βέλτιστες συνθήκες και
μπορεί να έχει υποστεί μία αρχική απόψυξη.
• Αγοράζετε τα καταψυγμένα τρόφιμα τελευταία και
χρησιμοποιείτε θερμικές τσάντες προστασίας για τη
μεταφορά.
• Μόλις φτάνετε στο σπίτι τοποθετείτε αμέσως τα
καταψυγμένα τρόφιμα στο διαμέρισμα καταψύκτη.
• Αποτρέψτε ή μειώστε στο ελάχιστο τις μεταβολές
θερμοκρασίας.Τηρείτε την ημερομηνία λήξης που
αναγράφεται στη συσκευασία.
• Ακολουθείτε πάντα τις οδηγίες πάνω στη
συσκευασία για τη συντήρηση των καταψυγμένων
τροφίμων.
Σημείωση: Καταναλώνετε αμέσως τα τελείως ή εν μέρει
αποψυγμένα τρόφιμα. Μην καταψύχετε εκ νέου τα
αποψυγμένα τρόφιμα, εκτός από την περίπτωση στην
οποία αυτά τα τρόφιμα χρησιμοποιούνται για την
προετοιμασία ενός πιάτου που προβλέπει το μαγείρεμά
τους. Από τη στιγμή που μαγειρεύονται, τα τρόφιμα
μπορούν να καταψυχθούν εκ νέου. Σε περίπτωση
παρατεταμένης διακοπής ρεύματος:
• Μην ανοίγετε την πόρτα του προϊόντος παρά μόνο για
να τοποθετήσετε τους συσσωρευτές ψύχους (όπου

δεξιά κι αριστερή πλευρά του προϊόντος. Κατ' αυτό τον

PRECAUTIONS AND GENERAL
RECOMMENDATIONS
• After installation, make sure that the appliance is
not standing on the power supply cable.
• Do not store glass containers with liquids in the appliance
since they may burst.
• Do not eat ice cubes or ice lollies immediately after taking
them out of the appliance since they may cause cold burns.
• Before servicing or cleaning the appliance, unplug it from
the mains or disconnect the electrical power supply.
• Do not install the appliance in places exposed to direct
sunlight or near heat sources in order to avoid increasing
power consumption.
• Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapours
and liquids in the vicinity of this or any other appliance. The
fumes can create a fire hazard or explosion.
• Install the appliance in a perfectly horizontal position, on a
floor strong enough to take its weight and in an area
suitable for its size and use.
• Install the appliance in a dry and well-ventilated place. The
appliance is set for operation at specific ambient
temperature ranges, according to the climatic class
indicated on the data plate located at the rear of the
product. The appliance may not work properly if it is left
for a long period at a temperature above or below the
indicated range.
• If the appliance is left empty for short periods, it is
preferable not to switch it off.
• Be careful not to damage the floors when you move the
appliance (e.g. parquet flooring).
• Do not use mechanical devices or any means other than
those recommended by the manufacturer to speed up the
defrosting process.
• Do not use electrical appliances inside the product, unless
such appliances are specifically recommended by the
manufacturer.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
• To avoid the risk of children being trapped and
therefore suffocating, do not allow them to play or
hide inside the appliance.
• The power cable may only be replaced by an
authorized person.
• Do not use extension leads or adapters.
• Electrical disconnection must be possible either by
unplugging the appliance or by means of a doublepole switch located upline from the socket.
• Ensure that the voltage indicated on the appliance
data plate corresponds to the domestic supply
voltage.
• Do not ingest the contents (non-toxic) of the ice
packs (if provided).
• Restrict the number of times you open the lid.
DEFROSTING THE
APPLIANCE
The appliance should be defrosted
when the thickness of ice on the
walls reaches 5-6 mm.
• Disconnect the appliance from
the mains power supply.
• Remove the packs of food from
the appliance and wrap them
close together in newspaper and
store in a very cool place or
thermally insulated bag.
• Leave the appliance lid open.
• Remove the internal defrost water drain plug (depending
on model).
• Remove the external defrost water drain plug (depending
on model) and reposition it as shown in the figure.
• Place a bowl beneath the drainage channel to collect the
residual water. If available, use the divider.
• Speed up defrosting by using a spatula to detach the ice
from the appliance walls.
• Remove the ice from the bottom of the appliance.
• In order to avoid permanent damage to the
appliance interior, do not use pointed or sharp metal
instruments for removing the ice.
• Do not use abrasive products or heat up the interior
artificially.
• Dry the interior of the appliance thoroughly.
• On completion of the defrosting, refit the plug.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
• Remove the ice from the upper edge (see the
Troubleshooting Guide).
• Clean the inside after defrosting, using a sponge dampened
with warm water and/or mild detergent.
• Clean the side motor cooling grille (depending on model).
• Remove dust from the condenser on the rear of the
appliance.
Before carrying out maintenance, unplug the appliance.
Do not use abrasive products, scourers or stainremovers (e.g. acetone, trichloroethylene) to clean the
appliance.
To obtain the best results from your appliance, carry
out cleaning and maintenance at least once a year.
CHANGING THE LID LIGHT
BULB (if provided)
• Disconnect the appliance from the
mains power supply.
• Remove the diffuser by following
the sequence of steps shown in the
figure.
• Unscrew the light bulb and replace it with an identical bulb
of the same wattage and voltage.
• Refit the diffuser and plug in the appliance.
TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
1. The red LED (if provided) remains alight.
• Is there a power failure?
• Is defrosting in progress?
• Is the appliance lid properly closed?
• Is the appliance positioned near a heat source?
• Is the thermostat setting correct?
• Are the ventilation grille and condenser clean?
2. The appliance is too noisy.
• Is the appliance perfectly horizontal?
• Is the appliance in contact with other furniture or objects that
may cause vibrations?

• Has the packaging been removed from under the appliance?
Note: gurgling noises from the refrigerating circuit after the
compressor cuts out are perfectly normal.
3. The green LED (if provided) is off and the appliance is
not working.
• Is there a power failure?
• Is the plug properly inserted in the socket?
• Is the electric cable intact?
4. The green LED (if provided) is off and the appliance is
working.
• The green LED is not working. Contact the After Sales
Service for a replacement.
5. The compressor runs continuously.
• Have hot foods been put in the appliance?
• Has the appliance lid been left open for a long time?
• Is the appliance positioned in a very warm room or near heat
sources?
• Is the thermostat setting correct?
• Has the fast freeze function (depending on model) been
pressed by mistake?
6. Too much ice on the upper edge.
• Are the defrost water drainage plugs correctly positioned?
• Is the appliance lid properly closed?
• Is the appliance lid seal damaged or deformed? (See chapter
"Installation")
• Have the 4 protection pieces been removed? (See chapter
"Installation")
7. Condensation forms on the external walls of the
appliance
• It is normal for condensation to form under certain
atmospheric conditions (humidity above 85%) or if the
appliance is located in a damp or poorly ventilated room. The
performance of the appliance is in no way affected.
8. The layer of ice on the internal walls of the appliance is
not uniform.
• This phenomenon is quite normal.
SAFEGUARDING THE ENVIRONMENT
1. Packing
The packaging material is entirely recyclable, and marked with
the recycling symbol. Follow local regulations for scrapping.
Keep the packaging materials (plastic bags, polystyrene parts,
etc.) out of reach of children, as they are potentially dangerous.
2. Scrapping
The appliance is manufactured using recyclable material .
This appliance is marked according to the European directive
2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(WEEE).
By ensuring this product is disposed of correctly, you will help
prevent potential negative consequences for the environment
and human health, which could otherwise be caused by
inappropriate waste handling of this product.
The symbol on the product, or on the documents
accompanying the product, indicates that this appliance may not
be treated as household waste. Instead it shall be handed over to
the applicable collection point for the recycling of electrical and
electronic equipment.
Before scrapping, make the appliance unusable by cutting off the
power cable and removing the doors and shelves so that
children cannot easily climb inside the appliance.
Disposal must be carried out in accordance with local
environmental regulations for waste disposal. Deliver the

Information:
This appliance does not use CFC. The refrigerant system
contains either R134a (HFC) or R600 (HC). Refer to the rating
plate inside the appliance.
Appliances with Isobutane (R600a): isobutane is a natural gas
without environmental impact, but is flammable. Therefore,
make sure the refrigerant circuit pipes are not damaged.
This product may contain Fluorinated Greenhouse Gases
covered by the Kyoto Protocol; the refrigerant gas is inside a
hermetically sealed system.
Refrigerant gas: R134a has a Global Warming Potential of (GWP)
1300.

Θέση σε λειτουργία του προϊόντος
• Η θερμοκρασία του προϊόντος έχει ήδη
προρυθμιστεί στο εργοστάσιο για τη λειτουργία
στη συνιστούμενη θερμοκρασία -18°C.
• Συνδέετε το προϊόν.
• Ανάβει η πράσινη λυχνία (όπου προβλέπεται).
• Ενεργοποιείται επίσης η κόκκινη λυχνία (όπου
προβλέπεται), εφόσον στο εσωτερικό του
προϊόντος δεν υπάρχει ακόμα μία επαρκώς
ψυχρή θερμοκρασία για την εισαγωγή των
τροφίμων. Αυτή η λυχνία συνήθως σβήνει εντός
των επόμενων έξι ωρών από την εκκίνηση.
• Μετά τη σύνδεση του προϊόντος και την
επίτευξη της σωστής θερμοκρασίας (χρειάζεται
περίπου μία ώρα κι η πόρτα στη διάρκεια αυτής
της φάσης δεν ανοίγει), βεβαιώνεστε ότι η
λειτουργία ταχείας κατάψυξης είναι σβηστή (η
κίτρινη λυχνία, όπου προβλέπεται, είναι σβηστή).
• Τοποθετείτε τα τρόφιμα μόνον όταν σβήσει η
κόκκινη λυχνία (όπου προβλέπεται).
• Όντας η τσιμούχα στεγανότητας, δεν είναι
δυνατό να ξανανοίξετε την πόρτα του προϊόντος
αμέσως μετά το κλείσιμό της. Χρειάζεται να
περιμένετε μερικά λεπτά πριν ξανανοίξετε την
πόρτα του προϊόντος.
Ρύθμιση της θερμοκρασίας
Επιλέξτε τη σωστή θερμοκρασία μέσω του
θερμοστάτη. Για να ρυθμίσετε τη θερμοκρασία του
προϊόντος, προβαίνετε ως εξής
• Περιστρέφετε το διακόπτη θερμοστάτη στη θέση
1 αν επιθυμείτε να έχετε μια λιγότερο κρύα
θερμοκρασία συντήρησης.
• Περιστρέφετε το διακόπτη θερμοστάτη στη θέση
6 / αν επιθυμείτε να έχετε μια πιο κρύα
θερμοκρασία συντήρησης.
• Στην περίπτωση μερικού φορτίου, δηλαδή όταν
το φορτίο είναι τοποθετημένο πιο κάτω από το
σύμβολο "e" που υποδεικνύεται στο εσωτερικό
του προϊόντος (όπου υπάρχει), συνιστάται να
ρυθμίσετε το θερμοστάτη σε πιο χαμηλές θέσεις
(στη θέση "e" όταν υποδεικνύεται από την
κλίμακα ρύθμισης του θερμοστάτη).

7. Formazione di condensa sulle pareti esterne del prodotto.
• E' normale che si formi condensa in particolari condizioni
climatiche (umidità superiore a 85%) o se il prodotto è
sistemato in stanze umide e poco ventilate. Questo, tuttavia, non
comporta alcun peggioramento delle prestazioni del prodotto.

CONSIGLI PER LA SALVAGUARDIA DELL’AMBIENTE
1. Imballo

Questo apparecchio é privo di CFC. Il circuito refrigerante contiene
R134a (HFC) o R600a (HC), vedere la targhetta matricola posta
all’interno dell’apparecchio. Per gli apparecchi con Isobutano
(R600a): l’isobutano é un gas naturale senza effetti sull’ambiente ma
infiammabile. È quindi indispensabile accertarsi che i tubi del
circuito refrigerante non siano danneggiati.
Questo prodotto potrebbe contenere gas serra fluorurati trattati
nel Protocollo di Kyoto; il gas refrigerante é contenuto in un sistema
sigillato ermeticamente. Gas refrigerante: R134a ha un potenziale di
riscaldamento globale (GWP) di 1300.

Prima di contattare il Servizio Assistenza Tecnica:
1. Verificare se non è possibile eliminare da soli i guasti.
2. Riavviare il prodotto per accertarsi che l’inconveniente sia
stato ovviato. Se il risultato è negativo, disinserire
nuovamente il prodotto e ripetere l’operazione dopo un’ora.
3. Se il problema persiste, contattare il Servizio Assistenza
Tecnica.

INSTALLAZIONE
• Consultare il capitolo "PRIMA DI USARE IL
PRODOTTO".
• Rimuovere il prodotto dall'imballo.
• Rimuovere i 4 distanziali inseriti tra la porta e il
prodotto.
• Assicurarsi che il tappo del canale di scolo dell'acqua di
sbrinamento (ove previsto) sia correttamente posizionato (4).
• Per ottenere le massime prestazioni ed evitare danni quando
si apre la porta del prodotto, mantenere una distanza di
almeno 7 cm dalla parete posteriore e uno spazio di 7 cm a
ogni lato.
• Inserire gli accessori (ove previsti).
1. Termostato: permette di regolare la temperatura interna
dell'apparecchio.
2. Spia rossa (ove prevista): quando si accende, indica che la
temperatura interna del prodotto non è ancora
sufficientemente fredda.
3. Spia verde (ove prevista): quando è accesa, indica che il
prodotto è in funzione.
4. Spia gialla (ove prevista): quando è accesa, indica che è
stata attivata la funzione di congelamento rapido.
5. Pulsante di congelamento rapido (ove previsto):
inserisce/disinserisce la funzione di congelamento rapido.
La configurazione del pannello comandi può variare a
seconda dei modelli.
Messa in funzione del prodotto
• La temperatura del prodotto è già stata preregolata in
fabbrica per il funzionamento alla temperatura consigliata di
-18°C.
• Collegare il prodotto
• Si accende la spia verde (ove prevista).
• Si attiva anche la spia rossa (ove prevista), in quanto
all'interno del prodotto non è ancora presente una
temperatura sufficientemente fredda per inserire gli alimenti.
Tale spia di norma si spegne entro le sei ore successive
all'avviamento.
• Dopo aver collegato il prodotto e raggiunto la temperatura
corretta (è necessaria circa un'ora, e la porta durante questa
fase non si apre), assicurarsi che la funzione di congelamento
rapido sia disinserita (la spia gialla, ove prevista, è spenta).
• Riporre gli alimenti solo quando la spia rossa (ove prevista) si
è spenta.
• Essendo la guarnizione a tenuta, non è possibile riaprire la
porta del prodotto immediatamente dopo averla chiusa. E'
necessario attendere alcuni minuti prima di riaprire la porta
del prodotto.
Regolazione della temperatura
Selezionare la temperatura corretta attraverso il termostato.
Per regolare la temperatura del prodotto, procedere come segue
• Ruotare la manopola termostato sulla posizione 1 se si
desidera avere una temperatura di conservazione meno
fredda.
• Ruotare la manopola termostato sulla posizione 6 / se si
desidera avere una temperatura di conservazione più fredda.
• In caso di carico parziale, ovvero quando il carico è
posizionato al di sotto del simbolo "e" indicato all'interno del
prodotto (ove presente), si consiglia di regolare il termostato
su posizioni più basse (sulla posizione "e" quando indicata
sulla scala di regolazione del termostato).

ISTRUZIONI PER L’USO
PRIMA DI USARE IL PRODOTTO
Il prodotto che avete acquistato è ad uso esclusivamente
domestico e per la conservazione di alimenti surgelati, il
congelamento di alimenti freschi e la produzione di
ghiaccio.
La messa a terra del prodotto è obbligatoria a
termini di legge. Il fabbricante declina ogni
responsabilità per eventuali danni subiti da persone,
animali o cose a causa della mancata osservanza delle
norme indicate.
1. Dopo aver disimballato il prodotto, assicurarsi che non
sia danneggiato e che la porta si chiuda perfettamente e
che la guarnizione non sia deformata. Eventuali danni
devono essere comunicati al rivenditore entro 24 ore
dalla consegna del prodotto.
2. Consigliamo di attendere almeno due ore prima di
mettere in funzione il prodotto, per dar modo al circuito
refrigerante di raggiungere una perfetta efficienza.
3. Accertarsi che l’installazione e il collegamento elettrico
siano effettuati da un tecnico qualificato secondo le
istruzioni del fabbricante e in conformità alle norme
locali sulla sicurezza.
4. Pulire l’interno del prodotto prima di utilizzarlo.
• Prima di collegare il prodotto alla rete elettrica,
assicurarsi che il voltaggio corrisponda alle indicazioni
fornite sulla targhetta matricola posta sul retro del
prodotto.
• I collegamenti elettrici devono essere conformi alle
normative locali.
CONGELAMENTO DEGLI ALIMENTI
Preparazione degli alimenti freschi da congelare
• Avvolgere e sigillare gli alimenti freschi da congelare in:
fogli di alluminio, pellicola trasparente, sacchetti
impermeabili di plastica, contenitori di polietilene con
coperchio, purchè idonei per alimenti da congelare.
• Gli alimenti devono essere freschi, maturi e della migliore
qualità.
• Frutta e verdura fresca devono essere congelate per
quanto possibile subito dopo la raccolta, per conservare
intatte le sostanze nutritive, la consistenza, il colore e il
gusto di tali alimenti.
• Lasciar sempre raffreddare gli alimenti caldi prima di
introdurli nel prodotto.
Congelamento degli alimenti freschi
• Collocare gli alimenti da congelare a diretto contatto con
le pareti verticali del prodotto:
A) - alimenti da congelare,
B) - alimenti già congelati.
• Evitare di sistemare gli alimenti
da congelare a diretto contatto
con gli alimenti già congelati.
• Per ottenere un migliore e più
rapido congelamento, dividere
gli alimenti in piccole porzioni;
questo accorgimento sarà utile
anche al momento dell'utilizzo
dei cibi congelati.
1. Almeno 24 ore prima di
procedere al congelamento di
cibi freschi nel prodotto,
premere il pulsante di
congelamento rapido. Per i
prodotti non dotati di tale pulsante, regolare il
termostato sulla posizione .
2. Inserire il cibo da congelare e tenere chiusa la portadel
prodotto per 24 ore. Trascorso tale periodo di tempo,
disinserire la funzione di congelamento rapido (ove
previsto).
CONSERVAZIONE DEGLI ALIMENTI

Consigli per la conservazione degli alimenti surgelati
Al momento dell'acquisto di alimenti surgelati, accertarsi che:
• La confezione sia intatta, poichè l'alimento in contenitori
danneggiati può essersi deteriorato. Se una confezione è
gonfia o presenta macchie di umidità, significa che il
prodotto non è stato conservato nelle condizioni ottimali
e può aver subito un inizio di scongelamento.
• Acquistare gli alimenti surgelati per ultimi e usare borse
termiche per il trasporto.
• Appena a casa, porre immediatamente gli alimenti
surgelati nel prodotto.
• Evitare o ridurre al minimo le variazioni di temperatura.
Rispettare la data di scadenza riportata sulla confezione.
• Seguire sempre le istruzioni sull'imballo per la
conservazione degli alimenti congelati.
Nota: Consumare immediatamente gli alimenti scongelati
o parzialmente scongelati. Non congelare di nuovo un
alimento scongelato, eccetto nel caso in cui tale alimento
sia utilizzato per preparare un piatto che ne preveda la
cottura. Una volta cotto, l'alimento può essere di nuovo
congelato. In caso di interruzione prolungata
dell'elettricità:
• Non aprire la porta del prodotto se non per
posizionare gli accumulatori di freddo (ove previsti)
sopra i cibi congelati sul lato destro e sinistro del
prodotto. In questo modo, sarà possibile rallentare la
velocità di incremento della temperatura.
ISTRUZIONI PER L’USO
PRECAUZIONI E SUGGERIMENTI
• Dopo l'installazione, accertarsi che il prodotto non poggi
sul cavo di alimentazione.
• Non conservare liquidi in contenitori di vetro nel prodotto,
poichè potrebbero esplodere.
• Non mangiare cubetti di ghiaccio o ghiaccioli subito dopo averli
tolti dal prodotto, poichè potrebbero causare bruciature da
freddo.
• Prima di qualsiasi operazione di manutenzione o pulizia,
disinserire la spina dalla presa di corrente o scollegare
l'alimentazione elettrica.
• Non installare il prodotto in luoghi direttamente esposti ai raggi
solari o in prossimità di fonti di calore, poichè questo
determinerebbe un aumento del consumo energetico.
• Non conservare o usare benzina o altri gas e liquidi infiammabili
nelle vicinanze del prodotto o di altri elettrodomestici. I vapori
che si sprigionano possono causare incendi o esplosioni.
• Installare il prodotto e posizionarlo in perfetto piano orizzontale
su un pavimento in grado di sostenere il suo peso e in un
ambiente adatto alle sue dimensioni e al suo utilizzo.
• Collocare il prodotto in un ambiente secco e ben ventilato. Il
prodotto è predisposto per il funzionamento in ambienti con
temperatura compresa nei seguenti intervalli definiti in base alla
classe climatica riportata sulla targhetta matricola posta sul retro
del prodotto. Il prodotto potrebbe non funzionare
correttamente se lasciato per lungo periodo a una temperatura
superiore o inferiore all'intervallo previsto.
• E' consigliabile lasciare il prodotto collegato, anche se vuoto per
brevi periodi.
• Nello spostare il prodotto, fare attenzione per evitare di
danneggiare i pavimenti (es. parquet).
• Per accelerare il processo di sbrinamento, non usare dispositivi
meccanici o altri mezzi diversi da quelli raccomandati dal
costruttore.
• Non usare apparecchi elettrici all'interno, se non del tipo
raccomandato dal costruttore.
• Questo apparecchio non é destinato ad essere utilizzato
da persone (bambini compresi) le cui capacità fisiche,
sensoriali o mentali siano ridotte, oppure con mancanza di
esperienza e/o conoscenza dell'apparecchio, a meno che
siano istruite o controllate durante l'utilizzo da una
persona responsabile della loro sicurezza.
• Per evitare il rischio di intrappolamento e soffocamento,
non permettere ai bambini di giocare o nascondersi
all'interno del prodotto.
• Il cavo di alimentazione può essere sostituito soltanto da
una persona autorizzata.
• Non usare prolunghe o adattatori multipli.
• La disconnessione dell'alimentazione elettrica deve essere
possibile mediante disinserimento della spina o attraverso
un interruttore bipolare di rete posto a monte della
presa.
• Controllare che il voltaggio sulla targhetta matricola
corrisponda alla tensione della propria abitazione.
• Non ingerire il liquido (atossico) contenuto negli
accumulatori di freddo (ove previsti).
• Limitare il numero di aperture della porta del prodotto.
SBRINAMENTO DEL PRODOTTO
Suggeriamo di effettuare lo
sbrinamento quando lo spessore della
brina che si forma sulle pareti
raggiunge i 5-6 mm.
• Disinserire il prodotto dalla rete
elettrica.
• Togliere gli alimenti dal prodotto,
avvolgerli in alcuni fogli di giornale e
riporli in un luogo molto fresco o in
una borsa termica.
• Lasciare aperta la porta del prodotto.
• Togliere il tappo interno del canale di scolo (ove previsto).
• Togliere il tappo esterno del canale di scolo (ove previsto) e
posizionarlo come in figura.
• Sistemare una bacinella sotto il canale di scolo per la raccolta
dell’acqua residua. Ove previsto, utilizzare il separatore.
• Lo sbrinamento può essere accelerato utilizzando una spatola
per favorire il distaccamento della brina dalle pareti del
prodotto.
• Rimuovere la brina dal fondo del prodotto.
• Al fine di evitare danni irreparabili alla cella, non usare
utensili metallici appuntiti o taglienti per togliere la brina.
• Non usare prodotti abrasivi e non riscaldare
artificialmente la cella.
• Asciugare accuratamente l’interno del prodotto.
• A sbrinamento ultimato, rimettere il tappo nell’apposita sede.
PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE
• Rimuovere la brina formatasi sui bordi superiori (vedere Guida
Ricerca Guasti).
• Dopo lo sbrinamento, pulire l’interno utilizzando una spugna
inumidita con acqua tiepida e/o un detergente neutro.
• Pulire la griglia di ventilazione laterale (ove prevista).
• Togliere la polvere dal condensatore posto sul retro del
prodotto.
Prima di eseguire operazioni di manutenzione, disinserire la
spina dalla presa di corrente. Non utilizzare paste o
pagliette abrasive ne smacchiatori (es. acetone, trielina) per
pulire il prodotto.
Per garantire il funzionamento ottimale del prodotto, si
raccomanda di effettuare le operazioni di pulizia e
manutenzione almeno una volta l’anno.
SOSTITUZIONE DELLA LAMPADA
LUCE PORTA (OVE PREVISTA)
• Disinserire il prodotto dalla rete
elettrica.
• Togliere l’opalina seguendo le
indicazioni della figura nella sequenza
indicata.
• Svitare la lampada e sostituirla con una nuova di uguali Volt e
Watt .
• Riposizionare l’opalina e ricollegare il prodotto alla rete elettrica.
GUIDA RICERCA GUASTI
1. La spia rossa (ove prevista) rimane accesa.
• C'è stata un'interruzione di corrente?
• È stata avviata una operazione di sbrinamento?
• La porta del prodotto è ben chiusa?
• Il prodotto è sistemato vicino a una fonte di calore?
• Il termostato è nella posizione corretta?
• La griglia di ventilazione e il condensatore sono puliti?
2. Il prodotto è eccessivamente rumoroso.
• Il prodotto è stato installato in perfetto piano orizzontale?
• Il prodotto è a contatto con altri mobili od oggetti che possono
causare vibrazioni?
• È stato rimosso l'imballo dalla base del prodotto?
