		UV light is electromagnetic radiation with wavelengths shorter than visible light. UV can be separated into various wavelength ranges, with the
		short-wavelength UV, or UV-C considered to be germicidal. Germicidal UV-C kills or inactivates microorganisms by destroying their nucleic acids and
		disrupting their DNA, leaving them unable to perform vital cellular functions.
		iconBIT U BOX is Multi-functional UV-C Sterilizing Box. It is intended for use in disinfection of personal gadgets (such as smartphones or earphones),
		medical masks, gloves etc.

iconBIT U BOX must be powered by any USB PSU 5V/2A. PSU is not included.

2.2. Maintenace

The iconBIT U BOX is very low maintenance unit and does not require any scheduled or regular cleaning.

1.Keep unit clean by wiping exterior surfaces with a water dampened towel. To avoid damage, do not use any detergents or solvents.

2.Do not touch UV-C lamps with bare hands, they will heat up during operation and cause oil or dirt from •ngers to leave burn marks and may cause unpleasant smells. Handle UV-C lamps with gloved hands only.

3.For optimal performance, keep lamps clean by wiping them occasionally with a dry soft or micro•ber cloth.

4.Unplug the unit from the power outlet when the units are in storage or not in use.

2.3. Operating Principles

1.Plug the USB PSU 5V/2A into the wall power outlet AC 100-240V 50/60Hz (PSU is not included), then connect iconBIT U BOX to USB PSU with Micro USB power cord. Make sure the LED indicator on U BOX is lit RED. iconBIT U BOX is in standby mode now.

2.Open the lid of the iconBIT U BOX. Put item need to be disinfected into sterilization chamber. Add one drop of aromatic oil if you need to use aromatherapy function. Close the lid completely.

3.Short press the touch switch to start. LED status indicator is blinking by GREEN for all 8 min of sterilization cycle.

4.After the sterilization cycle is •nished, LED status indicator will turn RED. Now you can take out you item from sterilization chamber and turn o• your iconBIT U BOX.

iconBIT U BOX can not start sterilization while lid is open or closed not completely.

It is possible to open lid during sterilization if necessary. Sterilization will stop at lid opening. Please close the lid completely and press touch switch to start sterilizetion again.
