Re: Expanding TX/RX Frequency Cov erage for the IC-T90 series.
Following is the information of the expanding TX/RX frequencies for IC-T90 series.
Model: IC-T90 all versions
1. Frequency Coverage After Modification:
RX: 0.495 ~ 999.990MHz
TX: 50 ~ 53.995MHz, 136 ~ 174MHz, 400 ~ 470MHz
Note: No guaranteed for any specifications on out side of HAM bands.
For USA version (version #05) the cellular frequency is blocked even after the modification due to
regulations .
2. Diode Matrix Condition on the LOGIC board:
2-1 Expanded frequency (RX):
D54 D55 Condition
0 0 A
0 1 B
0 = Without diode A = Expansion is done after turning the power ON.
1 = With diode B = Expansion is done while pushing the [BAND] and the [8] keys then turn ON the power.

0 VHF and UHF transmission expansion

0 50MHz expansion.
