Important safeguards
• The instruction manual contains important operating and maintenance instructions. For your safety, it is necessary to refer the manual. Keep the manual for use in future.
• Do not hit or drop the unit.
• Do not expose the unit to vibration, direct sunlight, too high or low temperature or humidity.
• If you are not going to use the unit within a long period of time, remove the batteries to avoid their leakage.
• Do not use the unit near TV sets,

computers, fluorescent lamps and other electric equipment; this may jam AM reception.
• Do not disassemble the unit yourselves.
Refer servicing to qualified service personnel.
Power supply
Battery operation
• Open the battery compartment cover.
• Insert 4 x AA (1.5 V) batteries. Please observe correct battery polarities or the set will not work.
• Close the battery compartment cover.
• When the battery is exhausted, it should
be removed from the set to prevent leakage.
• Disconnect the unit from power supply
when it is operated by batteries.
When replacing batteries the stored
information will be lost.
AС operation
• The appliance is for household use only.
• Before the first connecting of the appliance check that voltage indicated on the rating label corresponds the mains voltage in your home.
• Insert the power plug to the power socket of the unit, then plug its other end into the power supply.
• Please switch the unit off before disconnecting it from the power supply.
General operations
Earphones socket
For private listening please insert the earphones into the Phone jack (the speaker inside the radio disconnects automatically), now you can listen to the radio by earphones.
Radio operation
• Press RADIO ON/OFF button once to turn the radio on. Press the button again to turn off the radio, the time is displayed.
• Rotate VOLUME regulator to adjust sound volume level.
• Press AM/FM button to choose AM or FM band.
• Rotate TUNING regulator to select your desired station frequency.
• For FM reception, use the telescopic antenna. Pull out the antenna and change its length and angle for the best reception.
Display backlight
The backlight of the display will be on after each pressing of any button. It will go off automatically after 10 seconds.
Time setting
• Rotate TUNER regulator to select 12-hour
or 24-hour clock display mode.
• Press SET button, then rotate TUNER regulator to set hours. Press SET button again, then rotate TUNER regulator to set minutes.
• To save the setting leave the unit idle for 15 seconds or press SET button.
Calendar setting
• In the clock state, press MODE button to go to calendar mode.
• In calendar mode press SET button repeatedly to select year, month or date for setting. When a parameter a selected, rotate TUNING regulator to set the parameter.
• To save the setting leave the unit idle for 15 seconds or press SET button.
Storing the stations
The unit can store up to 8 AM and 8 FM
stations.
• In radio mode, select your desired station.
• Press and hold SET button to enter into the preset mode. The preset number and CH icon will show on the display.
• Rotate TUNING regulator to select a memory number from 1 to 8. Press SET button to confirm your memory setting.
Calling stored stations
In receiving state, press SET button, then rotate TUNING regulator to select a stored station, or press M+/M- buttons to select a stored station.
Alarm function
Setting the alarm
Dual snooze alarms function wakes you by the radio or buzzer.

For Alarm1
• Press ALARM1 button, then rotate TUNING regulator to switch Alarm1 on or off (the default status is off). When the alarm is off, --:-- is displayed. When the alarm is on, alarm time figures are displayed.
• After turning on the Alarm1, press SET button. Rotate TUNING regulator to set the hour.
• Press SET button. Rotate TUNING regulator to set the minutes. Press ALARM1 button to confirm and go to clock mode. When the alarm is set, («1») is displayed.
• Alarm1 can be set only to buzzer as alarm sound (no radio).
For Alarm2
• Press ALARM2 button, then rotate TUNING regulator to switch Alarm2 on or off (the default status is off). When the alarm is off, --:-- is displayed. When the alarm is on, alarm time figures are displayed.
• After turning on the Alarm2, press SET button. Rotate TUNING regulator to set the hour.
• Press SET button. Rotate TUNING regulator to set the minutes. Press ALARM2 button to confirm and go to clock mode. When the alarm is set, (“2“) id displayed.
• Alarm2 can be set both to radio and buzzer as alarm sound. After turning on the Alarm2, rotate TUNING regulator once more to activate Radio alarm mode. Then set the alarm time. After the alarm time is set, press SET button; the memory position icon will be flashing. Rotate TUNING regulator to select a stored station. Press SET button to confirm. Press RADIO ON/OFF button, then rotate VOLUME regulator to adjust the volume. Press RADIO ON/OFF button again.
Alarm setting mode is also available if
your press repeatedly MODE button.
Alarm function off/snooze
• To stop the alarm press SET button once. The alarm will resume after 24 hours.
• To stop the sound of Alarm1 or Alarm2 during alarm press SLP/SNZ button, the buzzer or radio resumes in 5 minutes. “Zz“ icon will be displayed.
Sleep function
• In radio mode, press SLP/SNZ button, then rotate TUNING regulator to set the sleep time (from 5 to 99 minutes). Press SET button to confirm the setting.
• When the timer reaches the preset time, the radio will turn off. To cancel the sleep mode before the sleep time expires, press SLP/SNZ button.
Sleep and wake to music
• Set the alarm as described before, then press RADIO ON/OFF button and set the sleep time as described before.
• The radio will stop automatically after the sleep time expires, and it will turn on automatically at the preset alarm time.
Maintenance and care
If necessary, clean the unit with a piece of cloth dampened with water only (be sure batteries are not inserted into the battery compartment and the power cord is disconnected). The unit shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the unit. Normal ventilation of the unit shall not be impeded for intended use.
