Assembly Instructions
Note: All models may not have all parts and features shown. Assembly of all models is
similar.
Assemble the product as shown in the diagram. Some items may have been pre-
assembled.
1) Install the fork onto the frame as shown, with the slot in the steerer tube oriented toward the rear.
2) Place the clamp assembly onto the steerer tube with the open end of the clamp in-line with the slot in the steerer tube.
3) Slide the clamp cover as far up the stem as possible.
4) Insert the handlebar stem into the steerer tube. Ensure the minimum insertion
mark on the stem is not visible – below the top of the steerer tube.
5) Align the handlebar so that they are perpendicular with the rear wheel.
6) Secure the handlebar in the steerer tube with the clamp.
7) Check that the clamp is tight enough so that the handlebar will not rotate inside
the steerer tube.
8) Install the seat onto the frame (this is pre-assembled on some models). Ensure that the minimum insertion mark on the seatpost is not visible – below the top of the frame.
9) Ensure the seat clamp hardware is sufficiently tightened to hold the seat firmly onto the frame.
10) Insert each front wheel lug into the fork tube as shown. (This is easily accomplished with the product upside down resting on the handlebar & seat.) Secure the lugs onto the fork with the hardware. Sufficiently tighten the hardware to hold the lugs.
11) Install the side plates using the hardware provided (ties, screws or snaps).
12) Insert the rear wheel into the frame.
13) Install the wheel stabilizers and hardware as shown. Ensure the anti-rotation tab
on the stabilizer hardware is located in the slot in the frame. Sufficiently tighten the rear axle hardware to hold the wheel onto the frame. Note: The wheel stabilizers are not intended to be removed. The product will be difficult to ride without them.
14) Install any accessories provided.
15) Ensure all the hardware is tight, and will not come off.
Check the product and secure all fasteners before each use.
