1 Introduction
All the figures in this guide are provided only for your reference. The actual appearance and display depends on your phone.
The section contains important information about how to remove the phones back cover correctly. Follow the step-by-step guide carefully, or it may cause damage to the back cover.
Removing the Back Cover
The following figure shows how to remove the back cover.
1. In the lower left corner of the phone, use your finger to open a
gap between the back cover and the phone carefully.

2. In the direction shown by the arrow indicator (b), use your hand
to remove the entire back cover.
SIM Card
Insert your SIM card before using your phone. Remove the SIM card and the battery only after powering off your phone.
The following figures show the installation of the SIM card.
microSD Card
Your phone supports a microSD card with a capacity of up to 16 GB.

Charging the Battery
1. Connect the charger to an AC power socket.
2. Connect the charger to the charger jack on the phone.
3. Wait until the battery is fully charged.
During the charging, the charging icon is displayed in animation. When the charging icon becomes static, it indicates that the battery is fully charged.

4. Disconnect the charger from the AC power socket.

In this guide, the following icons indicate the navigation keys of your phone: , , , and .

Make a call.
Answer an incoming call.
View call logs in standby mode.
Power on or power off the phone (by pressing and holding the key for about 3s).
End a call or reject an incoming call.
Return to the standby mode.
Select the option displayed in the lower left corner of the screen.
Select the option displayed in the lower right corner of the screen.
Access Camera.
Display the SNS services list.
Confirm a selection.

In standby mode, you can do as follows.
Press the navigation key or to access functions assigned to them.
Press the navigation key or to switch
between widgets, and then press to access it.
Enter digits, letters, and icons.
Call the voicemail in standby mode by pressing and holding the 1 key for about 3s.
Speed-dial phone numbers in standby mode by pressing and holding the keys 2–9 for about 3s.
Activate or deactivate the Meeting profile in standby mode by pressing and holding the upper part of the key for about 3s.
Switch between the upper case and the lower case in text input mode by pressing the lower part of the key.
Employ the FN key in text input mode by pressing the upper part of the key.
Lock the keyboard in standby mode by pressing and holding the lower part of the key for about 3s.
Move the cursor to the next line in text input mode by pressing the upper part of the key.
