Quick Start
Thank you for purchasing Echolife HG510 Home Gateway (hereinafter referred to as the HG510). With the HG510, you can access the Internet through ADSL connection while making a phone call.

1 Safety Precautions

Interface/Button Description
ADSL It is used to connect with the Modem interface of a splitter.
It is used to restore the default settings of the HG510.

LAN 1 – 4 It is used to connect with a computer or a switch. POWER It is used to power on/off the HG510. ON/OFF It is used to connect with the power adapter.
Once you use this function, all your customized settings will be lost. Therefore, be careful with it.

Note: The IP address for equipment management is 192.168.1.1. You can access the IP
address through the LAN 1 interface.

3 Preparations for Connection

Splitter
The splitter can reduce signal interference on the telephone line. The HG510 needs an external splitter. The external splitter can separa users to access the Internet and make interfaces: LPINE: Connecting to the phone jack on the wall.

5 Configuring the HG510
