Getting to Know Your E156B

The following figure shows the appearance of the E156B. It is only for your reference. The actual product may differ.

USB Interface

It connects the E156B to a computer.

SIM/USIM Card Slot

It is where you insert the subscriber identity module/UMTS subscriber identity module (SIM/USIM) card.

Micro SD Card Slot

It is where you insert the Micro Secure Digital Memory (SD) card

RF testing slot

It connects the RF test cables for RF testing.

Strap Hole

Indicator

It indicates the status of the E156B. Colour

Green

Blue

Green On

Blinking (on for 100ms and off for 100ms; then on for 100ms and off for 2700ms)

Blinking (on for 100ms and off for 2900ms)

Status Meaning

The E156B is powered on.

The E156B is registered to a GSM/GPRS/EDGE network.

The E156B is registered to a UMTS network.

The E156B is connected to a GPRS/EDGE network.

Blue On

Cyan On

- Off The E156B is removed.

The E156B is connected to a WCDMA network.

The E156B is connected to a HSDPA network.
