Thank you for choosing Huawei E156B HSDPA USB Stick (hereinafter referred to as the E156B). With the E156B, you can access the Internet through wireless network at a high speed.

This manual describes the appearance, installation and removal of the E156B. For the operation of the management program, refer to the User Manual.

USB Interface
It connects the E156B to a computer.

SIM/USIM Card Slot
It is where you insert the subscriber identity module/UMTS subscriber identity module (SIM/USIM) card.

Micro SD Card Slot
It is where you insert the Micro Secure Digital Memory (SD) card

RF testing slot
It connects the RF test cables for RF testing.

It indicates the status of the E156B. Colour

Status Meaning
The E156B is powered on.
The E156B is registered to a GSM/GPRS/EDGE network.
The E156B is registered to a UMTS network.
The E156B is connected to a GPRS/EDGE network.
