OC-3c/STM-1 POS Optical Interface Boards
Overview
The Quidway® NetEngine 80E core router (“NE80E” hereinafter) provides high-density
OC-3c/STM-1 POS optical interface boards to connect with the SDH transmission equipment or
other equipment. The boards provide 155M transmission channels. Currently, they are widely
applied in the networking of carriers, industries and large- and medium-sized ent erprises.
CR52-8xPOS/STM1-SFP
The OC-3c/STM-1 POS optical interface boards implement POS frame encapsulation/
decapsulation of data flows and SDH/SONET mapping/dema pping of POS frames, provide external
optical interfaces at a rate of 155 Mbps, and provide such functions as loopback, environment
monitoring and information query.
Hot pluggable SFP optical modules are adopted for these boards and the rate can reach 155 Mbp s.
Optical modules supporting different transmission distances may be selected depending on the
networking requirements.
Specifications
The NE80E provides two types of OC-3c/STM-1 POS optical interface boards:
CR52-8xPOS/STM1-SFP and CR52-4xPOS/STM1-SFP.
