1 Installing the UIM Card and the Battery
Contact your network operator to check whether a User Identity Module (UIM) card is required for the phone.
When installing the UIM card, ensure that the gold contact area on the UIM card is facing downward and that the beveled edge of the UIM card is properly aligned with that of the UIM card slot.
2 Charging the Battery
1.
Connect the charger to the charger connector of the phone.
2.
Connect the charger to a power socket. Charging starts and the charging icon is displayed in animation.
