Buttons are stuck
The camera, volume, or home button is stuck and or unresponsive.
Check the power
If the phone is dead, these buttons will be unresponsive to user interactions
Buttons are not bouncing back
Jiggle the buttons back and forth for a quick fix as they can stick to the inside of the case. if
jiggling doesn't work, investigate the section of the guide on Buttons to fix them.
Nothing happens when pressing buttons
There might be something wrong with the circuit board if the power is on and the buttons are
unresponsive. Check the guide on how to investigate the board and see if there is a
disconnection between the button and the board/circuit.
Replacing the battery
The phone will not hold a charge as the product says it should, or there is a problem with the
heat of the battery.
The phone overheats
Phones can overheat when the product outlives the expected life of the device. In this case,
replacing parts of the phone like the battery which is in the back of the phone under the larger
black part of the case. Find the correct battery for the phone and make sure the phone is off
when removing the battery.
Short lived battery life
The device needs a new battery. Replace the battery on the phone in the back under the larger
black part of the case. Find the correct battery for the phone and make sure the phone is off
when removing the battery.
Stand is not working
Either the phone stand on the back will not stay open or close properly, or the stand is broken on
the back of the phone.
The stand will not stay shut or open
Remove the back of the device by prying the back open and removing the screws to expose the
phone. Now work with the back of the phone and remove the two screws that hold the stand in
place. Slide the stand out of the phone and investigate if the spring that is not working.
The stand broke
Remove the back of the device by prying the back open and removing the screws to expose the
phone. Now work with the back of the phone and remove the two screws that hold the stand in
place. Slide the broken stand out of the phone. Slide the new stand into the phone and screw
everything back into place.
Phone is unresponsive
After providing power for long periods of time and the phone still turn on. There may be an issue
with the motherboard.
Bad motherboard
A general solution which is difficult to remove and voids the warrantee is to open the phone
and check the interior of the device. If there is an issue with the device that is not on the
surface, it maybe the motherboard will need to be replaced after either breaking or
overheating. Check the guide on how to extract the motherboard out without damaging the
device.
Case needs replacing
There is a crack in the case, an issue with protruding case, wear or tear on the exterior of the
back.
Cracked case
Either fix the issue with 2 solutions given or remove and replace the back. Taping the back of
the phone where the crack occurred is a quick solution. Glue is another solution that requires
removing the back of the case and gluing the crack to avoid further exterior damage. Remove
the 2 backs of the case by prying them open and replace what was needed.
Protruding back
The back of the phone sticks out in an unusual manor which is fixed by removing the back of
the phone and identifying if it's the case wearing down, or if there is something stuck in the
