1>.Tools needed for firmware upgrade:
1. The operators must wear the anti-static gloves to do the rework operation.
2. PC with LPT port
3. Genesis ISP board (715L2005-C2) 4. LPT cable

3>.Setup before firmware upgrade:
1. Connect the port 7 of LPT cable to port 6 of ISP board, port 8(the other port of LPT cable) to
LPT port of PC.

2. Connect the port 4 of (VGA to DVI-i)cable to port 5 of ISP board, port 3(the other port of VGA to
DVI-i cable) to Monitor DVI-1 port

monitor with the VGA-to-DVI cable

3. Connect Adapter to ISP board and connect power cord to Monitor.
4. Install the ISP program of GProbe 5.3.0.1 to the PC.
4>.Firmware Upgrade Instructions:
1. Open the ISP software “GProbe 5” by double clicking the ICON on the desktop
2. Select “Options”Æ“Connection Setting”Æ“Connection” Æ Device “Parallel”
3. Select “Parallel”, to make Port “0x378”and Clock ”120000” Hz
Step-1: Loading F/W of GM5862H IC
A1. Select “Commands”Æ“Force stand alone”Æ“Optional Delay 10 ms”Æ“OK”
A2. Select “commands”Æ “Batch”Æselect “LP2475-isp_flash16_ext.txt”in the released F/W
document
A3. Click the button you can find the “Execute file list”
A4. Select “ForceSA 10”in the execute file listÆ “Execute”
Then Monitor Power AC on
If show “ForceSA:Command successful”, means monitor connection successful
If others, means connection failed
A5. Select “*\LP2475-isp_flash16_ext.txt” in the execute file listÆ “Execute”
If show as following, means F/W upgrade successful (around 120s needed)
If show “…… Failed”, means F/W upgrade failed, pls try to repeat A1 to A5 again.
Step-2: Loading F/W of GM69010H IC
B1. The same as A1
B2. The same as A2, but the file selected should be“ISP_Forward_SL_only.txt”
B3. The same as A3. Execute list included below:
B4. The same as A4.
Select “ForceSA 10”in the execute file listÆ “Execute”
Then Monitor Power AC on
If show “ForceSA:Command successful”, means monitor connection successful
If others, means connection failed
B5. Select “*\ ISP_Forward_SL_only.txt” in the execute file listÆ “Execute”
If show as following, means F/W upgrade successful (around 60 s needed)
If show “…… Failed”, means F/W upgrade failed, pls try to repeat B1 to B5 again.
5>.Check the firmware after upgrade
1. Connect the DVI-1 port of the monitor to VGA port of PC or Chroma with the active input.
2. Press "Menu" button, don't release it, and make monitor AC offÆ on.
When the monitor Light on, press "Menu" again, we can see the Main Menu showed as bellow
Select Item “F” to enter “factory Menu” to check FW version

Remarks: Pls. make sure you switch to the correct video input in the OSD menu.
6>.Finish check of the firmware
1. Select “exit”, and press “Menu” button, exit factory Menu
2. Select “Factory Reset” in Main Menu to set the monitor to default mode
3. Select “Exit” in the Main Menu and power switch off the LP2475w monitor
