1>.Tools needed for firmware upgrade:

1. The operators must wear the anti-static gloves to do the rework operation.

2. PC with LPT port: 2Pcs.

3. Genesis ISP board (715L2005-C2) 4. LPT cable

2>.Programs needed for firmware upgrade:

1. Create a new folder on your computer, naming the folder to “HP LP2275W”. Save the
firmware and ISP tool in the folder of “HP LP2275W”, Decompress the “the attachment of
HP_B0807”.

2. Open the folder of “the attachment of HP_B0807” after decompressing. then decompress the
“GProbe 5.3.0.1.zip” and “LP2275W Firmware.zip”

3. Open the “GProbe 5.3.0.1”, click the “GProbe 5.3.0.1.exe” to install the ISP tool. Don’t stop to
Click the “next” until there is appears “finish”, then click “finish” finally, the ISP tool will install ok.

You can find the “ ” in your desk. Double click it. Then you can run the ISP tool.

4. Open the “LP2275W Firmware”, there are six file in it, four files are “HEX 16” format. Two files
are “TXT” format.

3>.Setup before firmware upgrade:

1. Connect the port 7 of LPT cable to port 6 of ISP board, port 8(the other port of LPT cable) to
LPT port of PC.
