Version A.06.00 of the HP OpenView Storage Data Protector Integration for OpenView
Operations (UNIX) has the following new features:
•Support for HP OpenView Storage Data Protector 6.0.
— Includes support for HP-UX 11.23 (PA and IA), Solaris 10, SUSE Linux Enterprise
Server 9 (x64) Cell Manager platforms
•Added support for OVO UNIX 8.2.
•Support for Self-Healing Services. The Self-Healing process is the capability of our
software to automatically detect when it suffers a problem and to automatically take steps
to remedy that problem. HP OpenView Self-Healing Services provides the framework to
implement the Self-Healing process.
•A new SNMP event handles the new file library event added to Data Protector.
•The Data Protector SPI can detect the version of Data Protector and deploys the
appropriate DPSPI templates on managed nodes.
•Support for new versions of OVPA for HP-UX, Solaris and SUSE Linux Enterprise Server
9 platforms. The new versions of OVPA are C.03.86.00 for HP-UX, C.03.82.00 for Solaris,
and C.03.86.00 for SUSE Linux.
