HP Instant-on Technology
Just select ‘print’ and these printers deliver first page out
in seconds from cold. HP Instant-on Technology saves time
and money by drastically reducing the printer’s warm-up
time, so there’s no waiting time. After use the printer
quickly returns to Powersave mode, minimising power
consumption and noise levels (unlike laser printers without
HP Instant-on Technology that wait for 15-30 minutes
before returning to Standby mode).
Colour Access Controls
Enjoy all the advantages of colour without incurring
unnecessary expense. Colour Access Controls
1
help
protect your investment, while still reaping the benefits
of printing in colour when you need to. You control
when, how or who uses colour in your workgroup.
HP Web Jetadmin can also be used to track colour
usage and supply customised reports detailing usage
by application, user or specific jobs.
The HP Embedded Web Server (EWS) allows IT to install,
configure and monitor an individual printer remotely –
using just a standard web browser.
The HP Smart supplies advantage

in both HP printing supplies
and the printer work together with new HP ColorSphere
Toner to make automatic adjustments that optimise print
quality for reliable, consistent results every time you print.
HP Resolution Enhancement technology
HP Imageret is a suite of innovative technologies
developed by HP to provide professional, high-quality
colour documents and images. The system’s foundation
is comprised of key colour laser technologies, including
HP ColorSphere toner, image enhancements, HP Smart
printing technology, and high resolution imaging. As the
level or category of HP Imageret increases, these core
technologies are refined for more advanced system usage,
and additional technologies are integrated. The result is
millions of smooth colours, sharp images and crisp text.
There is no loss of quality as uneven text edges are
smoothed with special adaptive half toning and trapping
technology prevents white edges from showing around text
on a coloured background.
