Alwa-KFR
Shutoff valve with backflow preventer
Product specification sheet
Application
The Alwa-KFR is used as shut-off valve with backflow preventer
in potable water installations. The downstream installation is
isolated by shutting off the valve with the handwheel. The integrated backflow preventer with an opening pressure of ≤ 10
mbar (to DN50) stops water from flowing back through the valve.
The valve insert with integrated backflow preventer is avail-able
as spare part and fits into all valve housings with dimensions
according to DVGW so that normal shutoff valves can be
upgraded to shutoff valves with backflow preventer.
Alwa-KFR valves are available with various pipe connections.
Alwa-K-KFR valves are equipped with larger external threads
specially suitable for connections of various plastic pipes.
Alwa-valves are low noise to DVGW and noise protection regulations.
Valves with draining facility allow draining of the system over the
valve.
Alwa-KFR are DVGW-certified under certification-no.
