IMPORTANT NOTICE
Strict compliance with installation instructions is essential for safety
and it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that they are followed. It
is essential you appreciate that the safe operation of your machine will
depend upon the safe efficient working of all components and devices, that
a regular maintenance routine for the machine is established and that the
routine should specifically cover all components which interface with these
switches. It is imperative that any wear on the actuator mechanism operat­ing the switch or on the switch itself and also any drift in the operating
characteristics are identified at an early stage and the necessary corrective
actions implemented (replacement) thus ensuring operator safety. The fre­quency of the maintenance will be determined by the type of machinery,
the frequency of switch operation and is the responsibility of the machine
manufacturer or end user.

GENERAL DIRECTIONS:
a) The actuator for the switch MUST move freely without jamming during

operation.

b) The alignment of the machine actuator and key to the switch MUST be

checked.

c) Visually ensure that no mechanical damage has occurred to the body or

key. If damage is found the complete switch assembly MUST be replaced.

d) Check that the switch is not being exposed to contamination from

substances with which it was not designed to deal.

e) Test the switch for correct electrical operation while installed and operated

normally, this test must only be carried out by a suitably qualified person.

WARRANTY/REMEDY

Honeywell warrants goods of its manufacture as being free of defective
materials and faulty workmanship. Honeywell’s standard product warranty ap­plies unless agreed to otherwise by Honeywell in writing; please refer to your
order acknowledgement or consult your local sales office for specific warranty
details. If warranted goods are returned to Honeywell during the period of
coverage, Honeywell will repair or replace, at its option, without charge those
items it finds defective. The foregoing is buyer’s sole remedy and is in lieu

of all warranties, expressed or implied, including those of merchantability
and fitness for a particular purpose. In no event shall Honeywell be liable
for consequential, special, or indirect damages.

While we provide application assistance personally, through our literature
and the Honeywell web site, it is up to the customer to determine the suit­ability of the product in the application.

Toute usure du mécanisme actionnant cet interrupteur ou de l’interrupteur
lui même doit donner lieu à une action corrective appropriée (remplace­ment) pour garantir la sécurité de l’opérateur. La fréquence des opérations
de maintenance sera déterminée par le type de machine et le nombre de
commutations de l’interrupteur. Elle est de la responsabilité du fabricant
de machine pour sa définition et de l’utilisateur pour sa mise en oeuvre.

DIRECTIONS:
a) La pièce actionnant l’interrupteur DOIT pouvoir se mouvoir librement sans

blocage lors du fonctionnement de la machine

b) L’alignement de la clé et de l’interrupteur DOIT être verifié .
c) S’assurer visuellement que le corps de l’interrupteur et la clé ne sont pas

endommagés. Si tel était le cas, remplacer l’ensemble des deux pièces.

d) Verifier que l’interrupteur n’est pas exposé à des substances agressives

pour lesquelles il n’a pas été conçu.

e) Tester le bon fonctionnement électrique de l’interrupteur dans son instal-

lation finale. Le test doit être conduit par une personne compétente.

durchgefuehrt werden, um die Sicherheit der Bedienenden sicherzustellen.
Die Wartungsintervalle werden entsprechend der Art der Maschine sowie
der Haeufigkeit der Schalterbetaetigung festgelegt und unterliegen der
Verantwortung des Maschinenherstellers oder des Endkunden.

ALLGEMEINE RICHTLINIEN
a) Der Betaetiger des Schalters MUSS sich waehrend des Betriebs frei und

ohne zu klemmen bewegen.

b) Die Ausrichtung des Gehaeuses und des Betaetigers zueinander MUSS

geprueft werden.

c) Stellen Sie durch Sichtkontrolle sicher, dass keine mechanische Beschaedi-

gung am Gehaeuse oder Betaetiger vorliegt. Bei Beschaedigung MUSS die
komplette Schaltereinheit ausgetauscht werden.

d) Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der Schalter keiner Verschmutzung durch

Stoffe ausgesetzt ist, fuer die er nicht konzipiert wurde.

e) Pruefen Sie den eingebauten und normal betriebenen Schalter auf einwand-

freie elektrische Funktionen. Dieser Test darf nur von einem entsprechend
qualifizierten Mitarbeiter durchgefuehrt werden.
