Installation
Before you start:
Please make sure that the camera is in good condition and all of the assembly parts are included.
Make sure that all related equipment is powered-off during the installation.
Check that the camera specification agrees with the installation environment.
To avoid damage, ensure the power supply voltage matches yo ur cam er a req ui r em ent s.
Please make sure the installation surface is strong enough to withstand three times the weight of the camera a nd the mounting.
If the installation surface is concrete, you need to insert expansion screws before you install the camera. If the installation surface is wood, you can use self-tapping screws to secure the camera.
If the product does not function properly, please contact your dealer or the nearest service center. Do not disassemble the camera for repair or maintenance by yourself.
Page 12

For the camera that supports IR, you are required to pay attention to the following precautions to prevent IR reflection:
Dust or greas e on the dom e cover will caus e IR refl ection. Please do not remove the dome cover film until the installation is finished. If there is dust or grease on the dome cover, clean the dome cover with clean soft cloth and isopropyl alcohol.
Make sure that there is no reflective surface too close to the camera lens. The IR light from the camera may reflect back into the lens and obscure the image.
The foam ring around the lens must be seated flush against the inner surface of the bubble to isolate the lens from the IR LEDs. Fasten the dome cover to the camera body so that the foam ring and the dome cover are seamlessly connected.
Surface Mounting the Camera on a Ceiling/Wall
Steps:
1. Attach the mounting template (supplied) to the place where
you want to install the camera, and then drill the screw holes and cable hole (if needed) in the ceiling/wall according to the mounting template (see Figure 1-2).

BRIGHTNESS
Brightness refers to the brightness of the image. You can set the brightness value from 1 to 10 to darken or brighten the image. The higher the selected value, the brighter the image is.
AE MODE
You can set AE mode as GLOBAL AE or D-WDR.
GLOBAL AE
GLOBAL AE refers to the normal exposure mode which is for adjustin g to situations including unusual lighting distribution, variations, non-standard processing, or other conditions of under exposure to get an optimum image.
D-WDR
The digital wide dynamic range (D-WDR) function helps the camera provide clear images even under back light circumstances. When there are both very bright and very dark areas simultaneously in the field of view, D-WDR balances the brightness level of the whole image and provides clear images with visible details.
AGC
AGC is a form of amplification where the camera will automatically boost the image received in much lower light conditions than standard lighting in order to optimize the clarity of an image in a poorly lit scene. The AGC level can be set to HIGH, MIDDLE, or LOW. Select OFF to disable AGC.
Page 28
28 HD273H( X) Minidome Camera User Guide
800-18606 – A – 06/2014
The noise will be amplified if the AGC is on.
SENSE UP
SENSE-UP increases the exposure on a single f ram e , whi ch
makes a camera more sensitive to light so it can produce images even in low lux conditions. You can set the SENSE UP value from 0 to 16 according t o the differe nt light c on diti o ns. The higher the sele cte d value, the more frames are integrated in a unit of time.
WB
White balance is the white rendition function of the camera to adjust the color temper at ure acc or din g to the env i ro nm ent . It can remove the unrealistic colors cast in the image. You can set
WB mode as AUTO, or MANUAL.
AUTO
In AUTO mode, white balance is being adjusted automatically according to the color temperature of the scene illumination.
MANUAL
You can set the R GAIN/B GAIN valu e f rom 1 to 10 to adjust the shades of red/blue color of the image.
