Sehr geehrter Kunde!
Diese Betriebsanleitung enthält Informationen und wichtige Hinweise zur Inbetriebnahme und
Handhabung der Kreissägeblattschärfmaschine MTY 8-70.
Folgend wird die übliche Handelsbezeichnung des Geräts (siehe Deckblatt) in dieser
Betriebsanleitung durch die Bezeichnung "Maschine" ersetzt.
Die Betriebsanleitung ist Bestandteil der Maschine und darf nicht entfernt werden.
Bewahren Sie sie für spätere Zwecke auf und legen Sie diese Anleitung der Maschine
bei, wenn sie an Dritte weitergegeben wird!
Bitte beachten Sie die Sicherheitshinweise!
Lesen Sie vor Inbetriebnahme diese Anleitung aufmerksam durch. Der sachgemäße Umgang wird
Ihnen dadurch erleichtert, Missverständnissen und etwaigen Schäden wird vorgebeugt.
Halten Sie sich an die Warn- und Sicherheitshinweise. Missachtung kann zu ernsten Verletzungen
führen.

5 SICHERHEIT
5.1 Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Die Maschine nur in technisch einwandfreiem Zustand sowie bestimmungsgemäß, sicherheits- und
gefahrenbewusst benutzen! Störungen, welche die Sicherheit beeinträchtigen können, umgehend
beseitigen lassen!
Es ist generell untersagt, sicherheitstechnische Ausrüstungen der Maschine zu ändern oder
unwirksam zu machen!
Die folgenden Anweisungen sind Sicherheitsregeln, die von jedem, der solche Maschinen bedient,
befolgt werden müssen.
Lesen Sie diese Anweisungen sorgfältig durch, bevor Sie solche Maschinen benutzen. Behalten Sie
diese Bedienungsanleitungen nach dem Lesen.
Im Falle von Feuer, Personenschaden oder anderen Unfällen, sind diese Regeln unbedingt zu
befolgen.
5.2 Unzulässige Verwendung
Der Betrieb der Maschine unter Bedingungen außerhalb der in dieser Anleitung angegebenen
Grenzen ist nicht zulässig.
Der Betrieb der Maschine ohne die vorgesehenen Schutzvorrichtungen ist unzulässig;
die Demontage oder das Ausschalten der Schutzvorrichtungen ist untersagt.
Etwaige Änderungen in der Konstruktion der Maschine sind verboten.
Eine Überlastung der Maschine ist nicht zulässig.
Der Betrieb der Maschine auf eine Art und Weise bzw. zu Zwecken, die den Anweisungen
dieser Bedienungsanleitung nicht zu 100% entspricht, ist untersagt.
Für eine andere oder darüber hinausgehende Benutzung und daraus resultierende
Sachschäden oder Verletzungen übernimmt HOLZMANN-MASCHINEN keine
Verantwortung oder Garantieleistung.
5.3 Generelle Sicherheitshinweise
Warnschilder und/oder Aufkleber an der Maschine, die unleserlich sind oder entfernt wurden,
sind umgehend zu erneuern!
Arbeiten Sie nur in sauberer, aufgeräumter Umgebung. In unordentlicher Umgebung passieren
Unfälle mit größerer Wahrscheinlichkeit.
Halten Sie Fremde und Kinder von Ihrer Werkstatt fern.
Bewahren Sie Ihre Werkzeuge sorgfältig auf: Nicht benutzte Werkzeuge sollten in trockenen,
hohen Plätzen verstaut sein, unerreichbar für Kinder. Am besten in einem verschließbaren
Koffer aufbewahren.
Säubern Sie die Handgriffe von Werkzeugen und halten Sie sie trocken und frei von Öl.
Seien Sie wachsam: Benützen Sie die Maschine nicht, wenn Sie müde oder nicht nüchtern
sind.
Überprüfen Sie auf kaputte Teile oder Zubehör. Überprüfen Sie, ob die Teile richtig laufen oder
die Bedienung beeinflussen. Lassen Sie beschädigte Teile in Servicezentren auswechseln.
Lassen Sie Schalter von Technikern reparieren, sollten diese nicht funktionieren.
Es ist möglich, dass Teile kaputt werden, wenn diese nicht von der ursprünglichen Firma sind.

SICHERHEIT
Arbeitsbereich und Boden rund um die Maschine sauber und frei von Öl,
Fett, Kühlflüssigkeit und Materialresten halten!
Für eine ausreichende Beleuchtung im Arbeitsbereich der Maschine sorgen!
Bei Müdigkeit, Unkonzentriertheit bzw. unter Einfluss von Medikamenten,
Alkohol oder Drogen ist das Arbeiten an der Maschine verboten!
5.4 Produktspezifische Sicherheitswarnungen
Entfernen Sie immer alle Einstellwerkzeuge und Schlüssel bevor Sie die Maschine einschalten
Halten Sie den Arbeitsplatz sauber – Verschmutze Arbeitsplätze und herumliegende Teile
führen immer wieder zu Unfällen.
Werkzeug nie feuchter oder nasser Umgebung oder Regen aussetzen.
Sorgen Sie für ausreichend Licht/ Beleuchtung am Arbeitsplatz
Halten Sie Kinder von der Maschine fern.
Zuseher sollten in sicherer Entfernung bleiben.
Machen Sie Ihre Werkstätte kindersicher (sichern Sie die Schalter mit Vorhängeschlössern,

Achten Sie auf einen sicheren Stand – Behalten Sie immer beide Beine am Boden und halten
Sie sich niemals über die laufende Maschine
Behandeln Sie das Werkzeug mit Sorgfalt. Halten Sie die Werkzeuge scharf und sauber für
beste und sicherste Ergebnisse.
Folgen Sie den Anweisungen
Trennen Sie die Maschine vom Stromnetz, bevor Sie an Schleifband oder Scheibe hantieren.
Vermeiden Sie das Risiko eines unbeaufsichtigten oder unbeabsichtigten Anlaufes der
Maschine. Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Schalter auf „OFF“ Position ist, bevor Sie die Maschine
einstecken.
Verwenden Sie nur empfohlenes Zubehör.
Steigen Sie niemals auf die Maschine.
Überprüfen Sie die Maschine auf beschädigte Maschinenteile.
Bevor Sie die Maschine starten vergewissern Sie sich, dass keine Gefahr durch verbogene
Anschläge oder Ähnliches entstehen kann. Tauschen Sie im gegebenenfalls die defekten Teile
sofort aus.
Lassen Sie die Maschine nie unbeaufsichtigt laufen.
Verlassen Sie die Maschine erst, wenn Sie vollständig zum Stillstand gekommen ist.

SICHERHEIT
Wenn Sie an der Maschine arbeiten, tragen Sie keinen lockeren Schmuck,
weite Kleidung, Krawatten oder langes, offenes Haar.
Lose Objekte können sich in rotierenden und bewegenden Objekten
verfangen und zu schweren Verletzungen führen!
Bei Arbeiten an der Maschine geeignete Schutzausrüstung
(Schutzhandschuhe, Sicherheitsschuhe, Schutzbrille,
Gehörschutz, …) tragen!
Am Gerät befinden sich einige Komponenten. Es ist nicht notwendig, die Maschine zu
demontieren. Reparaturen nur durch den Fachmann durchführen lassen!
Zubehör: Verwenden Sie nur von HOLZMANN empfohlenes Zubehör!
Wenden Sie sich bei Fragen und Problemen an unsere Kundenbetreuung.
5.5 Restrisiken
Auch bei Einhaltung aller Sicherheitsbestimmungen und bei bestimmungsgemäßer Verwendung
sind folgende Restrisiken zu beachten:

und bleibt ihr gesunder Hausverstand und Ihre entsprechende technische Eignung/Ausbildung zur
Bedienung einer Maschine wie der MTY 8-70 der wichtigste Sicherheitsfaktor.

6.1 Anwendung und Bedienung
1. Das Gerät ist speziell zum Schleifen für harte Klingen geeignet, sowie alle Arten von harten
Legierungen von Sägeblättern.
2. Die Führung unterstützt das Sägeblatt um Vibrationen zu verhindern und zur Verbesserung
der Qualität beim Schleifen.
3. Der Positionierungsstift kann auf die optimale Position eingestellt werden, um die
Anpassungsfähigkeit des Sägeblattes zu gewährleisten.
4. Das Sägeblatt kann man horizontal drehen und einstellen. Damit kann der Schleifwinkel auf
die optimale Position geändert und festgestellt werden.
5. Durch Drehung der Einheit kann der Winkel der Klinge eingestellt werden.
6. Befestigen Sie das Sägeblatt auf dem Schwenkarm. (Adjustieren Sie den Abstand zwischen
Sägeblatt und rundem Führungsschlitten mit dem Handrad)
7. Der Gleitblock muss dabei in vorderster Position sein.
8. Stellen Sie den Winkel des Schwenkarmes entsprechend des Zahnwinkels ein und fixieren Sie
den Schwenkarm.
9. Stellen Sie die Positioniervorrichtung (Lasche und Anschlag) dem Zahnabstand entsprechend
ein.
10. Adjustieren Sie den Motorwinkel dem Schleifwinkel entsprechend und fixieren Sie den Motor
in dieser Position.
11. Durch hin- und her Bewegung des Blattes kann dieses nun geschliffen werden.
12. Die Diamant-Trennscheibe kann trocken geschliffen.
Kontrollieren Sie vor dem Schleifen nochmals alle Einstellungen und vergewissern Sie
sich, dass alle beweglichen Teile fixiert sind.

Bei Reinigung und Instandhaltung bei angeschlossener Maschine:
Sachschäden und schwere Verletzungen durch unbeabsichtigtes Einschalten der
Maschine möglich!
Daher gilt:
Vor Wartungsarbeiten Maschine ausschalten und von der Spannungsversorgung trennen

Wichtig
Vor jeder Wartung, Schmierung oder Reparatur, trennen Sie das Gerät von der Stromquelle.
1. Stellen Sie vor dem Schleifen sicher, dass alle Muttern und Schrauben fest angezogen sind.
Überprüfen Sie, ob das Schleifband richtig montiert ist und dass keine Risse vorhanden sind.
2. Achten Sie darauf, dass sich nie zu viel Staub auf der Maschine bildet..
Störungen oder Defekte, die die Sicherheit der Maschine beeinträchtigen können, umgehend
beseitigen lassen.
Die vollständige und regelmäßige Reinigung der Maschine garantiert eine lange Lebensdauer
und stellt eine Sicherheitsvoraussetzung dar. Verwenden Sie ausschließlich milde
Reinigungsmittel, d.h. kein Benzin, Petroleum, Soda etc…
Prüfen Sie regelmäßig, ob die Warn- und Sicherheitshinweise an der Maschine vorhanden und
in einwandfrei leserlichem Zustand sind.
Prüfen Sie vor jedem Betrieb den einwandfreien Zustand der Sicherheitseinrichtungen.
Bei Lagerung der Maschine darf diese nicht in einem feuchten Raum aufbewahrt werden und
muss gegen den Einfluss von Witterungsbedingungen geschützt werden.
Kontrollieren Sie zumindest wöchentlich alle Schraubverbindungen auf festen Sitz.
Die Beseitigung von Defekten erledigt Ihr Fachhändler
Reparaturtätigkeiten dürfen nur von Fachpersonal durchgeführt werden

Dear Customer!
This manual contains information and important instructions for the installation and correct use of
the circular saw blade grinder MTY 8-70.
Following the usual commercial name of the device (see cover) is substituted in this manual with
the name "machine".
This manual is part of the product and shall not be stored separately from the product. Save it for
later reference and if you let other people use the product, add this instruction manual to the
product.
Please read and obey the security instructions!
Before first use read this manual carefully. It eases the correct use of the product and
prevents misunderstanding and damages of product and the user’s health.
Due to constant advancements in product design, construction pictures and content may diverse
slightly. However, if you discover any errors, inform us please.
Technical specifications are subject to changes!
Please check the product contents immediately after receipt for any eventual transport
damage or missing parts.
Claims from transport damage or missing parts must be placed immediately after initial
product receipt and unpacking before putting the product into operation.
Please understand that later claims cannot be accepted anymore.

SAFETY GUIDELINES
Do not operate the machine at insufficient lighting conditions.
Do not operate the machine outdoors.
Do not operate the machine when you are tired, when your concentration is
impaired, and/ or under the influence of drugs, medication or alcohol.
Do not wear loose clothing, long hair openly or loose jewellery like
necklaces etc. when operating the machine
They might be catched by rotating parts and cause serious injuries.
Use proper safety clothing and devices when operating the machine (,
safety goggles, ear protectors, safety shoes …)! Do not wear safety gloves
for operating because they decrease the working accuracy and they might
be pulled into the saw blade.
Before any maintenance you have to disconnect the panel saw from the
power source. Never use the plugged cable for transporting or manipulating
the machine.

9.1 Proper usage
Holzmann Maschinen cannot be held responsible for any injuries or damages if there was
performed manipulation or adjustments to the machine.
The following items are some rules about security which should be followed by everyone in
common when using tools.
Please read them all very carefully before using such tools and then keep this manual after
reading.
You must absolutely follow these rules when using in case of fire, personal injury and other
accidents.
For another usage and resulting damages or injuries HOLZMANN MASCHINEN doesn’t
assume any responsibility or guarantees.
9.2 Incorrect usage
Operation of the machine that doesn’t agree with this manual is forbidden!
Operation without the safety devices is not allowed.
You mustn’t remove the safety devices!
Incorrect is the usage for materials which aren’t mentioned in this manual.
Changes of the machine’s construction are forbidden.
For another usage and resulting damages or injuries HOLZMANN MASCHINEN doesn’t
assume any responsibility or guarantees.
9.3 Safety instructions
Warning labels and/or other labels on the machine must be replaced when they were removed.

9.4 General rules of security
Keep the workshop clean: It’s easy to cause accidents if the workshop is in mess.
Don’t allow strangers and children to be close to the workshops:
Keep tools carefully: Unused tools should be kept in dry and high places where children’s
hands couldn’t reach to, please lock them if it’s necessary.
Be careful to choose tools: Don’t use small tools or accessories to finish burdensome jobs.
Maintain tools very carefully: Keep cleaning in order to make them perform fully.
Keep vigilance: Keep your brain sober when working. Don’t operate dynamoelectric tools when
feeling tired.
Check broken parts and accessories: Operators should carefully check whether every part,
every accessory or every protecting equipment has been broken before intermittently using
tools in order to decide whether such objects perform again.
Advise: It’s easy to cause broken tools, even personal hurt if you don’t use accessories from
original Company.
9.5 Product specific rules of security
Read the operation manual before operating this machine.
The machine should be disconnected from the power source before performing maintenance or
adjustments to the internal mechanisms, or when making repairs.
Before leaving the machine, make sure the work area is clean.
Check timber for loose knots, nails, or other items which may cause a hazard or affect the
machine's performance.
Keep all guards in place and in working order.
Do not force the machine. It will do the job better and be safer working at the rate for which it
was designed.
All children and visitors should be kept a safe distance from the working area.
The operator should keep proper footing and balance at all times.
Do not operate the machine while under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or any other
medication.
Avoid awkward operations and hand positions where a sudden slip could cause your hand to
move into the sanding drum.
Never leave the machine until it comes to a complete stop, and never leave the machine
running unattended.
The employer is responsible for selecting competent and qualified employees.
Safety shoes should be worn to provide protection against rolling objects, falling objects, and
sharp edges in the workplace.
Eye protection should be worn and such devices should be carefully selected, fitted and used.
Compulsory wearing of glasses with impact resistant lenses and side shields is a good safety
policy.
Wear hearing protection when operating the machine.
Do not wear gloves or other hand covering articles around moving machinery.
Cover long hair with a hair net or cap.
Protective guards and shields must be in place at all times unless they must be removed for
specific service or maintenance. They should be immediately replaced when service or
maintenance is completed.
Make sure that operator clearly knows how to stop the machine before starting work.
Never clean or remove chips while the machine is running.
Do not alter or remove guards and warning labels.
Keep the immediate area clean. Do not allow the floor to become slippery, or covered with
dust or obstacles. Dust that accumulates in the work area is a hazard that can cause you to fall
or slip against the machine or its controls.

OPERATION
10.1 Operation instructions
The machine is specially designed for hard alloy grinding blade, which is fit for grinding all
kinds of hard alloy saw blades.
Its fascia can support the teeth of saw blade and other parts in order to prevent jumping and
improve grinding quality.
The positioning pin can be adjusted to the best position in order to ensure the conformability
of grinding blade.
Slip board can rotate horizontally, which can ensure the primary grinding angle or change it.
The rotation table on the fascia can adjust the process angle of grinding blade.
If the center axle is far away from the direction of grinding blade, and when the diameter of
grinding saw blade and saw teeth are bigger, the angle of saw blade is smaller, the grinding
blade and saw blade can be reversed 180 and adjust the table to a proper angle.
Slip block, centre axle, limited screw is installed on the rotation table, which is fit for operation
and ensure the diameter from grinding blade to the center.
20 rotation structure is installed on the grinding head, which can meet grinding for bevel saw
teeth.
The diamond wheel can be dry-grinded.
First loose the fascia, then adjust the angle of grinding blade and fasten.

Adjustment of positioning assembly. Adjust the saw blade to the best grinding condition, rotate
the positioning frame and fascia, adjust positioning pin to the more proper base of saw teeth
and leave gap of grinding quantity, the fasten the fixed screw.
Adjust the center axle to the same gap of grinding quantity to the right.
After all the parts are fastened, the saw blade supported with hand will be grinded.
10.2 Safe affairs
Meet standard presure, grounding earthing well.
The machine must be put on the dry, non-corrosive, steady and level position.
First loose fascia and then adjust the angle of ginded blade.
Fasten all the fastened parts before the machine is operated.
The machine doesn't work until it works usually.
Cut off the power when work is over.
Change the machine without permition and it will cause the bad result

Before performing any maintenance or lubrication, disconnect the machine from the power
source.
1. The table height adjustment screw shafts located at either end of the machine must be well
lubricated with grease.
2. Make sure all nuts and screws are tight before sanding. Check that the sanding belt is
mounted properly, and have not become loose or torn.
Do not allow excessive dust to accumulate on or in the machine.
Disturbances or defects which can affect the security of the machine allow to immediately
remove.
The entire and regular cleaning of the machine guarantees a long life span and shows a
security condition. Use exclusively mild cleaning agents, i.e. no petrol, paraffin, soda etc.

Check regularly whether the warning tips and security tips are in the machine available
and in perfectly legible state
Check before every company the flawless state of the security facilities.
With storage of the machine this may not be kept in a humid space and must be protected
against the influence by weather terms.
Control all screw combinations on firm seat every week

13.1 Uso correcto
La máquina debe estar en buenas condiciones de trabajo y con todas las protecciones de
seguridad proporcionadas en la compra de la misma. ¡Cualquier cambio en las medidas de
seguridad será responsabilidad del trabajador!
El uso de la máquina sin los dispositivos de protección, así como la retirada de cualquier parte de
esos dispositivos, ¡está prohibido!
13.1.1 Condiciones ambientales
La máquina está prevista para trabajar en las siguientes condiciones ambientales:
La máquina no está diseñada para uso al aire libre.
La máquina no está diseñada para funcionar en condiciones explosivas.

SEGURIDAD
Mantenga el área de trabajo limpia. El desorden provoca los
accidentes.
Tenga en cuenta el entorno de trabajo. No exponga las
herramientas a la lluvia.
No utilice las herramientas en lugares húmedos o mojados. Tenga
el área de trabajo bien iluminada.
Está prohibido trabajar con la máquina en caso de cansancio, falta
de concentración o bajo la influencia de drogas, alcohol o
medicamentos!
La MTY 8-70 sólo puede ser utilizada por personal capacitado.
¡Personas no autorizadas, especialmente los niños, se deben
mantener alejados de la máquina!
Cuando trabaje con la máquina no lleve ropa suelta, el pelo largo
suelto o joyas tales como collares etc.
Los objetos sueltos pueden engancharse a las partes móviles de la
máquina y causar serios daños.
Utilice equipos de protección. Utilice gafas de seguridad. Use una
máscara contra el polvo si las operaciones de corte producen polvo.
Nunca deje la máquina desatendida mientras trabaje. Desconecte
la máquina y espere hasta que se pare antes de dejar el puesto de
trabajo.
Desconecte la máquina. Cuando no esté en uso, antes de hacer el
mantenimiento o cambio de accesorios, desconecte la máquina de
la red eléctrica!
13.3 Instrucciones generales de seguridad
Las señales o pegatinas de advertencia si sufren desgaste o se quitan han de ser
inmediatamente renovadas.
Para evitar un mal funcionamiento, daño o lesion fisica debe tener en cuenta:
