Operation Instructions
Warning!
●Smoke, Unusual Smells, Hot and Others
If smoke, unusual smells, or any other abnormal occurs, stop using the
machine immediately. Continuing to use may result in fire or electric shock.
Take the measures immediately as follows:
1. Unplug the power plug from the outlet.
2. Contact your dealer or HOLATEK service center.
● Malfunctions
Abnormal images display or other abnormal situations occur under
circumstances of correct operations, stop using the machine
immediately. Continuing to use may result in fire or electric shock. Take
the measures immediately as follows:
1. Turn off the power。
2. Unplug the power plug.
3. Contact your dealer or HOLATEK service center.
●Power Cord
Misusing the power cord may cause the fire and electric shock. Take the
following precautions:
1. Use AC voltage and make sure outplace voltage is corresponding to the rated
voltage of the machine.
2. Do not overload the electrical outlet by using too many devices on
it.
Damaged power cord may cause the fire and electric shock. Take the following precautions:
1. Do not place heavy objects on the power cord or heat the power cord.
2. Do not stick the power cord between the wall and machine’s table
shelf.
3. Never try to modify the power cord, damage or bend it excessively .
4. Never twist or pull the power cord.
Never touch the power cord or plug with
wet hand, which may cause electronic
shock.
Use the attached power cord in the country that you buy the machine. When using the
machine in other countries, always use the power cord corresponding to the power
standard of that country. Meanwhile notice the safety standard of the country.
●Water and Foreign Object
Do not spill the water on the machine. Fire and electric shock may
result.
Do not place vase or any other container with water on the top of the
machine. Fire and electric shock may result.
Getting water or other liquid, or foreign objects (metal) into
the machine may cause the fire and electric shock. If foreign objects
(metal) are got into the machine, follow the directions
immediately:
1. Turn off the power.
2. Unplug the power plug.
3. Contact your dealer or HOLATEK service center.
● Disassembling and Modifying
Do not disassemble or modify the machine in any way. The high
voltage parts in the machine may cause electric shock and scalding. Notice that the malfunctions that caused by dismantling or modifying
the machines by yourself are not in the scope of warranty,
HOLATEK do not provide free repair.
Make sure refer all the internal checking, debugging and repair works to your dealer
or HOLATEK service center.
● Falling and Shocking
Continuing to use the damaged machine caused by falling or other
reasons may result in fire and electric shock. Take the measures
immediately as follows:
1. Turn off the power.
2. Unplug the power plug.
3. Contact your dealer or HOLATEK service center.
● Burning
Do not discard the machine by burning. Explosion, fire and
personal injury may result.
● Looking into the Lens or Air Vents When the Lamp is Switched on
Do not look into the lens or air vents when the lamp is switched
on. The hard light from the light machine may damage eyes.
● Blocking the air vents
Do not block the air inlet or outlet. Otherwise the internal heat
accumulates, which may cause the fire and burn the machine. Make
sure to observe the following precautions:
1. Leave the space at least 30 cm between the machine and the wall.
2. Do not place the machine in stagnant air place.
3. Do not cover the machine with the blanket or other objects.
4. Place the machine on the stable and flat surface. Do not use the machine
on the carpet, blanket, towel, cushion and any other soft surface.
5. Do not erect the machine when the machine is in process.
● Lightning
If there is a thunderstorm, do not touch the power plug.
● Remote Control
Never disassemble or modify the remote control in any way.
Otherwise cause electric shock, scalding and personal injury may result.
Make sure refer all the internal checking, debugging and repair works to
your dealer or HOLATEK service center.
Do not wet the remote control. Fire and electric shock may result.
● Wi-Fi Emitted from Radio Module
Never use the product in the airplane or medical facility, or any
other place that forbid the use of the device. Wi-Fi impacts the
electronic devices and medical devices, which may cause accident.
Do not use the product near high-precision electronic instruments or
electronic devices that used for dealing weak radio wave signal.
Wi-Fi impacts these devices, which may cause accident.
● If you are using cardiac pacemaker or any other electronic medical device,
consult the doctor or the product maker before using this product.
Caution!
●Power Cord
Misusing the power cord may cause the fire and electric shock. Always
follow the directions as follows:
1. Do not place the power cord close to the fire.
2. Hold the plug when disconnecting the power cord; do not pull the power
cord.
3. Plug into the bottom of the outlet.
4. Unplug the power cord from the outlet after using the machine.
5. Unplug the power cord from the outlet if the machine will not be used
for a long period.
6. Unplug the power cord from the outlet at least one time every year,
clean the dust of plug pins with dry cloths or vacuum cleaner.
7. Never use the detergent to clean the power cord, especially the plug pin and jack.
8. Before moving the machine, make sure to turn off the power and unplug the
power cord from the outlet.
● Important Data Backup
Backup all the data reserved in the machine memory. The data
reserved in the machine memory may be lost because of
malfunctions, repair and so on.
● Refraction Effects
No fish tank or any other object that has refracting effects in front of the lamp. Fire
may result.
●Lens Do not touch the lens with hand.
Battery Instructions
Warning!
Misusing batteries may cause batteries fluid leakage and pollute the parts
around, which may cause an explosion, fire and personal injury. Make sure
to observe the following precautions:
z Never disassemble or short-circuit the batteries.
z Never place the batteries in high temperature or abundant in fire
z Never recharge the non-rechargeable batteries

AboutLamp
z The lamp of this machine is LED.
z The designed life of the lamp is about 20,000 hours. Practical life
differs from the using conditions, setups on the menu and lamps.
zWarranty duration of the lamp wrote in the warranty statement may
be 6,000 hours, take the first-reach duration as standard.
zLamp does not turn on or is obvious low brightness indicates the lamp
life ends. Contact your dealer or HOLATEK service center to change.
OtherInstructions
This machine consists of precision parts. Malfunctions and incorrect data
storing may result if not observing the following instructions.
● Do not use or store the machine in the following areas, otherwise may
cause the malfunctions and damages on the machine.
z Static electricity areas
z Extremely high temperature areas
z High humidity areas
z Areas where temperature may change suddenly
z Areas where is a lot of dust
z Shaky, slant or unstable areas
z Areas where may be got wet
● Do not use the machine in the following areas, otherwise may cause
the malfunctions and damages on the machine.
zExtreme temperature areas (The working temperature
is 5℃ to 35℃)
z Do not place heavy objects on the machine
z Do not insert or fall the foreign objects into the machine
z Do not place vase or any other containers with water
on the top of the machine.
●Do not leave the exhausted batteries in the remote control for a long
time.
Exhausted batteries has fluid leakage ,which may cause the remote control
trouble or even damage.
● Use soft clean cloth for cleaning
If the machine is dirty, clean it with the soft cloth soaked in the water
or neutral detergent diluted solution. Wring the excess water before
cleaning. Never use thinner, benzene or any other volatile agents to clean
the machine. The printed word may be erased and may stain the machine.
●Screen Dot do not Light on
The machine use the most advantaged digital technology,however, some
dots on the screen may not light up. This is a normal phenomenon, not the
malfunctions.
●Do not shock on the machine when it is in process
If machine suffer fierce shock, the projected images may disappear for
a while. The images will appear soon, but could have abnormal color or
error messages.
If the machine image color is abnormal, reselect the source. If the color
is still abnormal, turn off the machine according to the steps in chapter
“Turn on and off the machine” on page 17, and then restart the machine.
● Cautions After Using
The outlet and its around is very hot when the machine is in process, and
is still very hot when the machine is just turned off, so hold the two
flanks to move the machine.
●Take the Machine into the Carrying Bag
Make sure the machine is not hot before taking it into the carrying bag.

Remote Control Range
Both in the front and back of the machine have infrared remote (IR) sensors. Hold the
remote control; take the angel with IR sensor less than 30 angle to make it effective.
The distance between the remote control and IR sensor cannot be longer than 8 m
(about 26 inch)
Do not place any barrier that blocks the IR between the IR sensors on the remote
control and that on the machine.

z Avoid excessive heat and humid.
z Do not place the remote control where the buttons may be pressed
accidently to avoid using out the batteries
z Do not throw the batteries into the fire, which may cause an explosion.

if dust built up at the inlet every time before using the machine.
Wipe the dust with cloths if there is dust and dirty in the inlet.
zDo not block the inlet. Block the inlet may reduce the light source
life.
z Airflow from the air conditioner will blow the heat exhausted by the
lens, which cause heat wave in the image. Adjust the air conditioner
or move the machine if this situation turns up.
zDo not place it on one of its side to use the machine, malfunctions
may result.

Connect the power inlet with attached AC power cord.
The power on/off indicator on the top of the machine turns to orange when
the power cord is connected to the outlet, which means the machine is
normal and standby.
TurningontheMachine
Press (power) on the top of the machine or(power)(red)on the remote
control to turn on and off the complaceer power,(power)(blue)on the
remote control only turn on and off the project function. When on
the top of the machine lights as white, it indicates that PC disk has started,
when the white indicator flashes continuously, it indicates that PC is
reading the disc, when the white indicator turns dark ,it indicates that
the disc has stopped operation.

1. Press (power) on the top of the machine to turn off the power.
2. Press(power)(red)on the remote control and confirm the message“Power
off ?Press the power again” displayed at the right down corner of the
screen.
zIf you do not turn off the power, the message disappears after 5
seconds. Press [ESC] also can remove the message.
3. Check and make sure that
orange, lens blue light circle goes out and unplug the power cord from the outlet.
4. Make sure that the machine, connected external computer or vedio
device are truned off, unplug the power cord from the connected
devices.

Chinese is the default language when the first time to turn on the machine,
follow the steps if you need to change into other languages.
Use the control panel or remote control, press [MENU], and press[∨] or [∧]
to select [Machine setup1], then press [ENTER] to select the language, and then press

When turning on the machine, the input source selected at last time will
be the first choice. To select other input sources, follow the steps.
1. Press [SOURCE]
2. Use [▲] and [▼] on the remote control to select the input source name,
then press [ENTER].
AdjustingImage
How to Adjust the Focus
[FOCUS▲] and[FOCUS▼]on the remote control to adjust the focus,
release the button when adjustment is done.
Use the control pane, press [MENU] and press[∨] or [∧] to select [Machine
setup2], then press [Focus], and [<] or [>] to adjust , and then press [MENU] to
logoff the operation.
CorrectingKeystone
When there is a certain angle between the machine and the projection
screen or the wall, the upper and lower sides length of projection image
may be different, this is called “keystone”. This machine has the
function of auto and manual correcting keystone to adjust the projection
image.
Auto Correcting Keystone
Set the menu “Machine setup1→Auto correcting keystone” to “On”, and
machine checks main body of the image in vertical direction, then auto
adjust the shape to oblong.
z The range of Auto correcting keystone is ±40°
Manual Correcting Keystone
[KEYSTONE+] or [KEYSTONE-] on the remote control to correct
keystone.
Use the control pane, press [MENU] and press[∨] or [∧] to select [Image setup],
then press [Keystone], and [<] or [>]to adjust , and then press [MENU] to logoff
the operation.
3DFunction
Turning on 3D
Turning on the 3D film source, press [3D] on the remote control to select [Left
/Right mode] or [Up/Down mode], and then press [ENTER] to turn on 3D function.
2D TO 3D
Turning on the 2D film source, press [3D] on the remote control to select [2D
TO 3D], and then press [ENTER] to turn on 2D TO 3D function.
Switching 3D Left/Right Eye
If you feel uncomfortable or the images have no 3D effect when watching
3D film, use [3DL/R] on the remote control to adjust.
Turning off 3D
Press [3D] on the remote control to select [2D], and press [ENTER] to turn off 2D TO 3D function.
