Important safety precautions

Do not disassemble, repair or modify the player by yourself. Refer servicing to qualified
personnel.
Do not dispose of the player in extreme heat to avoid explosion. Keep the player away from direct sunlight or heat source. Do not expose the unit to rain or moisture to avoid any malfunction. Do not use the player in a rather dry environment to avoid static. Never apply heavy impact on the player like dropping it or placing it on a magnet. Clean only with a dry cloth. Make sure the player is turned off before cleaning. Do not
use liquid cleanser.
Be sure to back up your files. We will not be liable for the loss of data due to improper
operation, repair or other causes.

Precautions in using the earphones
Do not use the player with earphones while driving a motor vehicle or riding a bicycle. To avoid an accident, do not turn up the volume too high while walking. It’s not recommended that you use the earphones at a high volume for an extended time
as this may cause hearing damage.
Product and Battery Disposal This product contains a built-in lithium battery and should not be disposed of in normal household waste. For disposal and recycling, please contact your local waste management authorities.
The recycling and processing of electronic waste will make a significant contribution towards helping protect the environment.

1. Basic operation
1. 1 Power supply
Unit is powered by a built-in lithium battery. When the remaining capacity on the battery indicator shows , please charge as follows: Connect the unit to an available USB port on a computer using USB cable included (computer must be turned on to charge unit). The unit will then be in a charged state. The battery indicator icon will move from empty to full. Generally, the charge time for the unit is around 2 to 3 hours.
NOTE: Make sure the ON/OFF switch is in the “ON” position while charging.
1.2. Power on/off
1) When the ON/OFF switch is in the “OFF” position, the unit cannot be powered on.
2) When the switch is moved to “ON” position, the unit will power on automatically, display “Welcome… Hipstreet” and then enter main menu - namely working mode
interface.
Then the “ON”/ “OFF” is controlled by “ ” Play/Pause, details as below: Power off: When “ON”, press and hold “ ” till unit displays “BYEBYE” to power off. Power on: When “OFF”, press and hold button to power on, then it displays

“Hipstreet” and enters the previous working mode when powered off last time. Note: 1) When in the pause or stop mode, if the unit is set to automatically power off under the power-saving mode, it will power off automatically as long as no operation is being performed at the time set for automatic power off.
2) If power on the unit after it’s powered off by switch button, it will need to rest, to reset
the current time, etc.
1.3 Working Mode and “One-Key REC
1.3.1 Working modes
It includes two working modes, that is, DVR mode and Music mode. Choose the desired
mode using “Music/DVR” switch. Music mode contains 2 working modes: MUS mode
and System settings.
1.3.2 “One-Key REC”
1) When “One-Key REC” switch is shifted to “REC” from “STOP”, the unit will enter the recording mode directly. If not previously in stop state, it needs to stop the current work, then it starts recording immediately. If already in stop state previously, it will start recording. As to the recording operation, refer to instructions for “DVR Mode” below.
2) When “Music/DVR” switch is shifted to “Music”, it will work in music mode. Press
