1. 本器付属のリードをSM-8200シリーズ超絶縁計の
Rx 端子に接続します。
2. 試料を準備し、測定したい部位に電極を押し当て
て測定します。
このたびは、HIOKI SME-8301表面抵抗測定用電極 を
ご選定いただき、誠にありがとうございます。この製
品を十分にご活用いただき、末長くご使用いただくた
めにも、取扱説明書はていねいに扱い、いつもお手元
に置いてご使用ください。
点検
本器がお手元に届きましたら、輸送中において異常ま
たは破損がないか点検してからご使用ください。万一、
破損あるいは仕様どおり動作しない場合は、お買上店
（代理店）か最寄りの営業所にご連絡ください。
ご使用にあたっての注意
本器を安全にご使用いただくために、また機能を十二
分にご活用いただくために、下記の注意事項をお守り
ください。
使用前の確認
使用前には、保存や輸送による故障がないか、点検と
動作確認をしてから使用してください。故障を確認し
た場合は、お買上店（代理店）か最寄りの営業所にご
連絡ください。
保守・サービス
• 本器の汚れをとるときは、柔らかい布に水か中性洗
剤を少量含ませて、軽く拭いてください。ベンジン、
アルコール、アセトン、エーテル、ケトン、シンナー、
ガソリン系を含む洗剤は絶対に使用しないでくださ
い。変形、変色することがあります。
• 故障と思われるときは、お買上店（代理店）か最寄
りの営業所にご連絡ください。
• 輸送中に破損しないように梱包し、故障内容も書き
添えてください。輸送中の破損については保証しか
ねます。
概要
本器は試料に電極を押し付けるだけで簡単に試料の表
面抵抗を測定するための電極です。主に SM-8200 シ
リーズ超絶縁計と組み合わせてご使用ください。

この取扱説明書には本器を安全に操作し、安全な状態
に保つのに要する情報や注意事項が記載されていま
す。本器を使用する前に下記の安全に関する事項をよ
くお読みください。

リード線の被覆が破れたり、金属が露出してい
ないか、使用する前に確認してください。損傷
がある場合は、感電事故になるので、お買上店

測定するものの絶縁抵抗が非常に大きいものについて
は、誘導などの影響でよく測定できない場合がありま
す。値がはっきりしないような場合には、SME-8320分
銅電極で測定し確認することも必要です。

1. Connect the attached lead to the Rx terminal of
Model SM-8200 Series Super Megohm Meter.
2. Measurement can be performed if the neces-
sary samples are prepared and the electrode is
pressed against a measured section of the respective sample.
Warranty malfunctions occurring under conditions of
normal use in conformity with the Instruction Manual
and Product Precautionary Markings will be repaired
free of charge. This warranty is valid for a period of
one (1) year from the date of purchase. Please contact the distributor from which you purchased the
product for further information on warranty provisions.

Preliminary Checks
Before using the device the first time, verify that it operates normally to ensure that the no damage occurred during storage or shipping. If you find any
damage, contact your dealer or Hioki represent ative.
Before using the device, make sure that the insulation on the test leads is undamaged and that no bare
conductors are improperly exposed. Using the
device in such conditions could cause an electric
shock, so contact your dealer or Hioki representative for repair .
Overview
This is an electrode which enables simple sample
surface resistance measurement with only this electrode pressed onto the sample.
Use this device mainly together with Model SM-8200
Series Super Megohm Meter.

Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the HIOKI Model SME8301 Surface Resistance Measurement Electrode.
To obtain maximum performance from the device,
please read this manual first, and keep it handy for future reference.
Inspection
When you receive the device, inspect it carefully to
ensure that no damage occurred during shipping. If
damage is evident, or if it fails to operate according to
the specifications, contact your dealer or Hioki representative.
If the measured object has an extremely large insulation resistance, its resistance may not be measured
due to induction effect, etc. If the resistance value is
not definite, make measurement using Model SME8320 Weight Electrode.
Maintenance and Service
• To clean the device, wipe it gently with a soft cloth
moistened with water or mild detergent. Never use
solvents such as benzene, alcohol, acetone, ether,
ketones, thinners or gasoline, as they can deform
and discolor the case.
• If the device seems to be malfunctioning, contact
your dealer or Hioki representative.
• Pack the device so that it will not sustain damage
during shipping, and include a description of existing damage. We cannot accept responsibility for
damage incurred during shipping.
