CF 116 Filler Foam
Shelf Life
CF 116 has a shelf life of 9 months from the
date of manufacture when stored at temperatures of 41°F to 77°F.
Limitations - Not recommended for . . .
• Direct exposure to sunlight because it
will cause discoloration and deterioration
of the exposed surface .Such effects can
be prevented b y simply coating the sur
face with an exterior-grade paint.
• Use when the temperature of the base
material is below 41°F.
• Use as a firestopping material. Please
refer to the Hilti Firestop Inspection &
Installation Manual for specific details.

After curing, CF 116 can be cut, sanded, painted, stained or otherwise finished.
Shake the can thoroughly
before use.
Fit the nozzle to the can. Fit the grip to the nozzle. Hold the can upside
down (valve underneath)
when applying the foam.
If a pause is made during application, bend
the nozzle back (with
two folds) and push
the tip of the tube into
the locating pin to help
prevent curing of foam
in nozzle.
