Setting up the computer3
This chapter describes how to set up your computer.
Ensuring proper ventilation
Proper ventilation for the system is important for computer operation. Follow these guidelines.
●Operate the computer on a sturdy, level surface.
●Provide at least 15.24 cm (6.00 in) of clearance at the front and back of the computer. (This distance is
the minimum for all computer models.)
NOTE: Your computer might look slightly dierent from the illustration in this section.
●Ensure that the ambient air temperature is within specied limits. To locate specications for your
computer, see Product specications on page 6.
●For cabinet installation, ensure adequate cabinet ventilation and ensure that the ambient temperature
within the cabinet does not exceed specied limits.
