Safety and warning notes:
The transformer may only be used outside of the packaging.
Take the transformer carefully out of the packaging.
Make sure, before using the transformer that this has not been damaged during
transportation. The transformer must not be operated if the cable or the electrical parts are
damaged. Repairs may only be done by a specialist electrician.
The transformer housing must not be opened.
Keep packaging materials well away from children and pets. Danger of suffocation!
An external connection line to the transformer which been damaged must be replaced with a
special line or a special module which has to be obtained from the manufacturer or specialist
dealer.
The electrical output circuits must be installed and protected according to the national
installation regulations.
Care and servicing:
You must make sure that the power supply is disconnected before cleaning.
Use a dry, or slightly damp cloth for cleaning.
Never use chemicals or abrasives for cleaning.
Disposal:
Old electronic equipment must be brought to public connection points and must not be
disposed of as household waste.

Installation:
This product may only be installed by a qualified specialist electrician.
The stated loads of the transformer must be neither exceeded nor fallen short of.
Before the installation is done, the connection lines to the building must be switched free from
voltage and protected against being switch on again. Take the appropriate automatic circuit
breakers out of the junction box in the building.
This transformer has internal protection against normal voltage surges and interference
voltages. Avoid connecting transformers to the mains network which have high induction
currents or large repeated surge voltages.
An electronic protective circuit switches off the transformer when there is a short circuit or and
overload in the secondary circuit and also when it is idling. The transformer is ready for
operation again after the fault has been removed.
The transformer is equipped with an overheating safety device. The transformer switches off
when there is overheating.
The transformer should be connected to the lights as closely as possible. A clearance
distance of at least 30 cm has to be observed. Sufficient ventilation at the place of installation
is necessary because of the self-generated heat from the transformer.
The lights cable on the secondary side should be as short as possible with a minimum length
of 30 cm and not longer than 500 cm to achieve as low a level of electromagnetic load as
possible..
Output lines should be separated and laid at a distance from other lines. The mains
connection lines and the lights lines should not cross over each other.
Protect the transformer from humidity and too much heat. The ambient temperature and the
transformer housing temperature have to be observed (see rating plate).
Transformers can cause a slight buzzing sound during operations. The output lines have to be
fixed and freed from tension and pressure.
The rated cross section of the outer connection lines / cables (output) must be at least 0.75
mm² with a maximum of 1.5 mm².
The rating plate on the transformer must not be removed.
