SOUND ADVICE
The Hegel P10 Anniversary Pre Amplifier is easy to connect and operate, and requires no prior technical knowledge. However, to get the most out of the amplifier's superior sound and music quality, we have provided a brief description of the connections and use of the amplifier in order to provide a total music experience.
We recommend keeping this user guide for future reference.
GENERAL USE
ONE MINUTE CALIBRATION AT POWER ON
The pre amplifier is switched on with the button in the middle of the front panel. After the power is switched on there will be a calibration period of about one minute before the P10 Anniversary pre amplifier is ready to play music.
The first minute of operation is used to calibrate the sophisticated internal audio circuits of the pre amplifier, and the calibration period is indicated by a flashing blue power light. When the start-up calibration is over the blue light will stop flashing and have a permanent blue light. Now the P10 Anniversary pre amplifier is ready to play music.
GENERAL OPERATION
The left hand knob is the channel selector with selections: Balanced, DVD, CD, Tape, Tuner and Auxiliary, and the right hand knob is the volume control. The selected input is indicated by a blue light.
