Requirements
• The Entryway Light requires 120-volts AC.
• If you want to use Manual Override, the light must be wired through a switch.
Some codes require installation by a qualified
electrician.
MANUAL MODE
Manual mode only works at night because daylight returns the sensor to AUTO.
Flip the light switch off for one second then back on to toggle between AUTO and MANUAL MODE.
Manual mode works only with the ON-TIME switch in the 1, 5, or 10 position.

* If you get confused while switching modes, turn the
power off for one minute, then back on. After the calibration time the control will be in the AUTO mode.
INSTALLATION
For best performance, mount the fixture about 7ft (2.1 m) above the ground.
Turn the power to the lighting circuit off at the
fuse or circuit breaker box.
Remove the existing light fixture. Install the mounting strap
into the junction box. Orientation of the strap may be different.
Strip about 5/8 in. (15 mm)
insulation off of the existing junction box wiring.
Connect the white (neutral) junction box wire to the
white Entryway Light wire. Twist the wires together
and secure with a wire connector.
Caulk the back edge of the light and mounting
surface with silicone weather sealant.
Install a 60 Watt maximum light bulb into the lamp
holder. Do not overtighten. Higher wattages will
void warranty.
Holding Screw
for Globe or Jar
Loosen the front holding screw so the globe or jar
cover can be installed. Secure by tightening the screw. Do not overtighten.
Connect the green or
bare (ground) mounting strap wire to a grounded wire or to a grounded metal box.
Install the mounting stem into the strap so
that it extends out about 3/4 in. (19 mm).
Install the fixture over
the mounting stem.
Connect the black
(hot) junction box wire to the black En- tryway Light wire.
Install and tighten the
mounting stem nut.

TEST AND ADJUSTMENT
Turn on the circuit breaker and light switch.
The detector is less sensitive to motion directly towards it and more sensitive to across motion.
NOTE: Sensor has a 1 1/2 minute calibration period
before it will detect motion. When first turned on, wait 1 1/2 minutes.
For aiming, turn the SENSITIVITY (SENS) control
to the mid position and the ON-TIME control to the TEST position.
ON-TIME SENS
TEST 1 5 10 MIN MAX
Bottom of Sensor
In the test position shown above, the light will turn on for 5 seconds each time motion is detected during both daylight and darkness.
Avoid aiming the control at:
• Objects that change temperature rapidly, such as heating vents or air conditioners. These heat sources
could cause false triggering.
• Areas where pets or traffic may trigger the control.
Nearby large, light-colored objects reflecting light may trigger the shut-off feature. Do not point other lights at the sensor.

Rotate the sensor base left
and right to aim the sensor. Adjust the sensor eye up and down to obtain desired coverage range.
Walk through the coverage
area noting where you are when the lights turn on. Move the sensor head up, down, or sideways to change the coverage area.
Set SENSITIVITY as needed.
Too much sensitivity may increase false triggering.
Set the amount of TIME the lights stay on after motion is detected (1, 5, or 10 minutes).
