CAUTIONS

To avoid any injury or damage locate the unit at the proper counter height, in an area that is convenient for use. The location should be level to prevent the unit or its contents from accidentally falling, and strong enough to support the weight of the unit.

Do not place anything on top of the toaster; doing so could damage toaster or subject personnel to possible injury.

The toasting of coated or buttered products such as garlic bread, cheese sandwiches and sweet rolls is NOT recommended. Residue will reduce toaster performance and could possibly ignite inside the toaster.

When setting up the unit for operation, make sure power to the unit is off and the toaster is at room temperature.

Failure to do so could result in personal injury.

WARNINGS

Plug toaster into a properly grounded electrical outlet of the correct voltage, size, and plug configuration. If the plug and receptacle do not match, contact a qualified electrician to determine the proper voltage and size, and install the proper electrical outlet.

To avoid any injury, turn the power switch OFF, unplug the unit from the power source and allow to cool before performing any maintenance.

For safe and proper operation, the unit must be located at a reasonable distance from combustible walls and materials. If safe distances are not maintained, discoloration or combustion could occur. Do not locate toaster under shelving or closer than 305 mm (12") from the ceiling.

INTRODUCTION

CONTENTS

The Hatco Toast-Max™Electric Conveyor Toaster is specially designed to accelerate the toasting operation. Products for toasting pass through a heating chamber for rapid and thorough toasting of products. Moisture and sugar content and thickness of bread product effect the ability to achieve the perfect toasted product. Utilizing conveyor speed, not temperature, to determine toasting color, allows for instant adjustment of toasting time.

Hatco toasters are built with quality to meet the demands of foodservice operations and provide years of trouble-free performance. The serpentine metal-sheathed tubular heating elements are guaranteed against breakage and burnout for two years.

This manual provides the installation, safety and operating instructions for the Toast-M

CAUTIONS

Some exterior surfaces on the unit will get hot. Use caution when touching these areas to avoid injury.

To avoid damage to the unit or injury to personnel always operate toaster with crumb tray installed.

To avoid any injury, do not remove the crumb tray for cleaning until toaster is cool.

Unit is not weatherproof. For safe and proper operation the unit must be located indoors

where the ambient air temperature is a minimum of 70°F (21°C) and a maximum of 85°F (29°C).

CAUTIONS

Do not locate the toaster in an area subject to excessive temperatures or grease from grills, fryers, etc. Excessive temperatures could cause damage to the unit. Do not place toaster in an area that restricts air flow around the front or rear of the unit. Do not place toaster in direct discharge path of air conditioning vent or makeup air vent.

Use only non-abrasive cleaners. Abrasive cleaners could scratch the finish of your Toast-Max toaster marring its appearance and making it susceptible to soil accumulation.

This product has no “user” serviceable parts. To avoid damage to the unit or injury to personnel, use only Authorized Hatco Service Agents and Genuine Hatco Parts when service is required.

Genuine Hatco Replacement Parts are specified to operate safely in the environments in which they are used. Some aftermarket or generic replacement parts do not have the characteristics that will allow them to operate safely in Hatco equipment. It is essential to use Hatco Replacement Parts when repairing Hatco equipment. Failure to use Hatco Replacement Parts may subject operators of the equipment to hazardous electrical voltage, resulting in electrical shock or burn.

MODEL DESCRIPTIONS

ALL MODELS

All Toast-Max™ Electric Conveyor Toasters are fast, reliable and versatile, toasting up to 300 bread or bun product per hour. The front or rear discharge allows the operator to place the ToastMax toaster where it is most convenient. Every Toast-Max toaster features long lasting serpentine metal sheathed heating elements, a permanently lubricated conveyor motor and a four position toast selector switch. Every unit is shipped with 102 mm (4") adjustable legs, a toast feed ramp, removable crumb tray and toast collector pan.

TM-5H MODEL

The TM-5H model allows for toasting of bread products up to 64 mm (2-1/2") thick and 245 mm (9-5/8") wide. Capacity is up to 180 slices per hour.

TM-10H MODEL

The TM-10H model allows for toasting of bread products up to 64 mm (2-1/2") thick and 245 mm (9-5/8") wide. Capacity is up to 300 slices per hour.

Units are supplied from the factory with an electrical cord and plug installed. Plugs are supplied according to the applications. See 2 .

ASSEMBLY

1. Remove unit from box.

2. Remove information packet. To prevent delay

in obtaining warranty coverage, fill out and mail in warranty card to Hatco.

3. Remove tape from Discharge Chute, Crumb Tray and Toast Collector Pan. See 4 .

4. If unit is not level, use 14 mm (9/16") open-end wrench to adjust the foot of each leg until unit is level.

SET-UP

Toast Feed Ramp

The toast feed ramp is installed at the factory and can be used in two positions. See 6 .

1. When in the upright position, the toaster is set for automatic feed. Bread products enter the toaster by placing them on the feed ramp and releasing.

2. For manual feeding of product, tip the feed ramp until it rests on top of the unit. In this position bread products can be manually loaded by placing directly on the conveyor belt.

Toast Crumb Tray

Install toast crumb tray directly below the conveyor belt and below the stop pins. Insert until the front of the crumb tray meets the stop pins. See 7 .

CAUTION To avoid damage to the unit or injury to personnel always operate toaster with crumb tray installed.

CAUTION To avoid any injury, do not remove the crumb tray for cleaning until toaster is cool.

Front or Rear Discharge

Toast-Max units can be set up so toasted product discharges at either the front or the rear of the unit.

For fr

ont discharge install toaster chute from the front

of the toaster with the curved end inward and the rear lip of the chute on the rear most pins. See 8 . The discharge vane must be in the closed position. See 9A .

For rear discharge do not use the discharge chute. If the chute is installed remove it. To set-up toaster for rear discharge position, install the collector pan, with the open end first, over the set of pins at the rear of the unit. Align the straight notches

over the pins and lower into place. The discharge vane must be in the open position. See 9B .

OPERATION

TM-5H & TM-10H MODELS

1. Plug toaster into a properly grounded electrical outlet of the correct voltage, size and plug configuration. See SPECIFICATIONS for details.

2. To toast the top

and bottom sides of the bread, place

the SELECTOR SWITCH in the bread position. The indicator light will glow at this time. See 10 .

To toast one side only (the top side), place the SELECTOR SWITCH in the bun

position. The indicator light will glow

at this time. See 10 .

3. Turn the COLOR CONTROL to the lightest position while the unit heats up. See 10 .

NOTE: Allow approximately 15 to 20 minutes for a warm-up period.

4. After warm-up period, set the COLOR CONTROL to the medium position and toast two slices of bread product then re-adjust the COLOR CONTROL to the desired setting.

NOTE: To toast moist products such as English Muffins, rye bread or whole wheat, slow the conveyor by turning the COLOR CONTROL knob to a darker setting (clockwise).

All TM series toasters can be put into a Power Save mode by placing the selector switch in the standby position. The toaster is operating at 25% power in the Power Save mode. See 10 .

NOTE: To place toaster back into full operation turn the selector switch to the Bread or Bun position. Unit is back up and ready for toasting within 5 minutes.

MAINTENANCE

GENERAL

The Hatco Toast-Max Electric Conveyor Toasters are designed for maximum durability and performance, with minimum maintenance.

WARNING To avoid any injury, turn the power switch OFF, unplug the unit from the power source and allow to cool before performing any maintenance.

CLEANING

WARNING This appliance is not of jet-proof construction. Do not use jet-clean-spray to clean this appliance.

Exterior

To preserve the bright finish of the unit, it is recommended that the exterior surfaces be wiped daily with a damp cloth. Stubborn stains may be removed with a good stainless steel cleaner or a non-abrasive cleaner. Hard to reach areas should be cleaned with a small brush and mild soap.

CAUTION Use only non-abrasive cleaners. Abrasive cleaners could scratch the finish of your Toast-Max toaster marring its appearance and making it susceptible to soil accumulation.

Toast Crumb Tray & Toast Collector Pan

Remove from unit and wash with soap and water, then rinse.

Toast Feed Ramp

Press in the two wire spokes and remove guide from unit. Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth or soak the guide in a mild solution of 227 milliliters of ammonia and 3.785 liters of water (1 cup and 1 gallon). Re-install guide by aligning wire spokes with holes in toaster.

LUBRICATION

The conveyor gear motor and conveyor system are permanently lubricated and require no lubrication.

HATCO LIMITED WARRANTY

1. PRODUCT WARRANTY

Hatco warrants the products that it manufactures (the “Products”) to be free from defects in materials and workmanship, under normal use and service, for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase when installed and maintained in accordance with Hatco’s written instructions or 18 months from the date of shipment from Hatco. Buyer must establish the product’s purchase date by returning Hatco’s Warranty Registration Card or by other means satisfactory to Hatco in its sole discretion.

Hatco warrants the following Product components to be free from defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase (subject to the foregoing conditions) for the period(s) of time and on the conditions listed below:

Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, SUCH WARRANTIES DO NOT COVER: Coated incandescent light bulbs, fluorescent lights, lamp warmer heat bulbs, glass components, Product failure in booster tank, fin tube heat exchanger, or other water heating equipment, caused by liming, sediment buildup, chemical attack or freezing, Product misuse, tampering or misapplication, improper installation, or application of improper voltage.

2. LIMITATION OF REMEDIES AND DAMAGES

Hatco’s liability and Buyer’s exclusive remedy hereunder will be limited solely, at Hatco’s option, to repair or replacement by a Hatco-authorized service agency (other than where Buyer is located outside of the United States, Canada, United Kingdom or Australia in which case Hatco’s liability and Buyer’s exclusive remedy hereunder will be limited solely to replacement of part under warranty) with respect to any claim made within the applicable warranty period referred to above. Hatco reserves the right to accept or reject any such claim in whole or in part. Hatco will not accept the return of any Product without prior written approval from Hatco, and all such approved returns shall be made at Buyer’s sole expense. HATCO WILL NOT BE LIABLE, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LABOR COSTS OR LOST PROFITS RESULTING FROM THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCTS OR FROM THE PRODUCTS BEING INCORPORATED IN OR BECOMING A COMPONENT OF ANY OTHER PRODUCT OR GOODS.

Toast-Max™, der elektrische Durchlauftoaster von Hatco, wurde speziell für ein schnelleres Toasten entwickelt. WICHTIGE SICHERHEITSHINWEISE

VORSICHT

Wählen Sie einen für den Verwendungszweck der Einheit praktischen Aufstellungsort mit der richtigen Thekenhöhe, um Verletzungen und Beschädigungen zu vermeiden. Dieser Aufstellungsort muss eben und stabil genug sein, um das Gewicht des Toasters zu tragen.

Legen Sie nichts auf dem Toaster ab, um Verletzungsgefahr und Beschädigungen am Gerät zu vermeiden.

Das Toasten von überzogenen Backwaren wie z. B. Knoblauchbrote, Käsesandwichs oder Backwaren mit Zuckerglasur wird NICHT empfohlen. Rückstände würden die Leistung des Toasters verringern und könnten sich möglicherweise auch innerhalb des Toasters entzünden.

WARNUNGEN

Stecken Sie den Netzstecker der Einheit in eine passende Schuko-Steckdose mit der richtigen Spannung. Wenn Stecker und Steckdose nicht übereinstimmen, setzen Sie sich mit einem qualifizierten Elektriker in Verbindung, um den passenden Kabelanschluss zu installieren.

WICHTIGE SICHERHEITSHINWEISE

VORSICHT

Wenn Sie das Gerät für den Gebrauch aufstellen, stellen Sie sicher, dass der Toaster ausgeschaltet ist und Raumtemperatur hat. Bei Nichtbeachtung kann das zu Verletzungen führen.

Einige der Außenflächen des Geräts werden heiß. Um Verletzungen zu vermeiden, seien Sie beim Berühren dieser Flächen vorsichtig.

Zur Vermeidung von Geräteschäden und Verletzungen den Toaster stets mit eingesetztem Krümelfach in Betrieb nehmen.

ALLE MODELLE

Alle elektrischen Durchlauftoaster des Typs Toast-Max™ sind schnell, zuverlässig und vielseitig und können pro Stunde 300 Brot- oder Brötchenprodukte toasten. Dank der vorderen oder hinteren Ausgabe kann der Bediener den Toast-Max-Toaster dort aufstellen, wo es am praktischsten ist. Jeder Toast-Max-Toaster ist mit lange haltbaren, metallummantelten RohrschlangenHeizelementen, einem permanent geschmierten Transportbandmotor und einem Vierstellungs-Toastwahlschalter ausgerüstet. Jedes Gerät wird werkseitig mit 102 mm langen Standfüßen, einer ToastZufuhrrampe, einem abnehmbaren Krümelfach und einem Toast-Auffangbehälter versehen.

MODELL TM-5H

Mit dem Modell TM-5H können Brotprodukte in einer Dicke von bis zu 64 mm und einer Breite von bis zu 254 mm getoastet werden. Die Toastleistung beträgt max. 180 Scheiben pro Stunde.

MODELL TM-10H

Die Geräte sind ab Werk mit einem an der Rückseite befindlichen Kable ausgestattet. Der im Lieferumfang enthaltene Stecker ist für die In Abbildung 2 dargestellten Anwendungen geeignet.

INSTALLATION

ZUSAMMENBAU

1. Heben Sie das Gerät aus der Verpackung.

2. Entfernen Sie das Info-Paket. Füllen Sie die Garantiekarte

aus und senden Sie sie an Hatco, um Verzögerungen beim Erhalt der Garantiedeckung zu vermeiden.

3. Entfernen Sie das Klebeband Toastrutsche, dem Krümelfach und dem Toast-Auffangbehälter. Siehe Abbildung 4 .

4. Wenn das Gerät nicht auf einer ebenen Fläche steht, stellen Sie die Füße jedes Standbeins mit einem 14-mm-Maulschlüssel ein, bis das Gerät nivelliert ist.

AUFSTELLUNGSORT

VORSICHT Den Toaster nicht in einem Bereich aufstellen, in dem er extremen Temperaturen oder Fett von Grills, Fritteusen usw. ausgesetzt ist. Überhöhte Temperaturen können das Gerät beschädigen. Toast-Zuführgitter

Die Toast-Zuführgitter wird werkseitig montiert und kann in zwei Stellungen verwendet werden. Siehe Abbildung 6 .

1. In der aufrechten Position ist der Toaster für eine automatische Zufuhr eingestellt. Die Brotprodukte werden in den Toaster eingeführt, indem sie auf die Zufuhrrampe gelegt und losgelassen werden.

2. Für ein manuelles Einspeisen des Produkts wird die Zuführgitter umgeklappt, bis es auf dem Gerät aufliegt. In dieser Stellung können Brotprodukte von Hand direkt auf das Transportband gelegt werden.

Krümelfach

Setzen Sie das Krümelfach direkt unter dem Transportband und unter den Anschlagstiften ein. Führen Sie es so weit ein, bis das Krümelfach an den Anschlagstiften anstößt. Siehe Abbildung 7 .

Ablage vorne oder hinten

Toast-Max-Geräte können für die Ablage der Backwaren entweder an der Vorder- oder der Rückseite des Geräts konfiguriert werden.

Für eine vordere

Ausgabe befestigen Sie die Toaster-Rutsche so an der Vorderseite des Toasters, dass das gekrümmte Ende nach innen zeigt und die hintere Lippe der Rutsche auf den hintersten Stiften aufliegt. Siehe 8 . Die Ausgabeklappe muss geschlossen sein. Siehe 9A .

Bei der rückseitigen Ausgabe darf die Ausgaberutsche nicht benutzt werden. Wenn die Rutsche bereits angebracht ist, entfernen Sie sie. Um den Toaster für eine Ausgabe auf der Rückseite einzurichten, schieben Sie zunächst den Auffangbehälter mit dem offenen Ende über das Stiftpaar ganz hinten im Gerät. Richten Sie die geraden Kerben über den Stiften aus und senken Sie den Auffangbehälter ab. Die Ausgabeklappe muss geöffnet sein. Siehe 9B .

AUFSTELLEN

BETRIEB

MODELLE TM-5H UND TM-10H

2. Um die Ober- und Unterseite der Brotscheibe zu toasten, drehen Sie den WAHLSCHALTER in die Brotstellung. Die Netzkontrolllampe leuchtet auf. Siehe 10 .

Um nur eine Seite (die Oberseite) zu toasten, drehen Sie den WAHLSCHALTER in die Brötchenstellung. Die Netzkontrolllampe leuchtet auf. Siehe 10 .

3. Drehen Sie den BRÄUNUNGSGRADREGLER in die hells te Position, während sich das Gerät erwärmt. Siehe 10 .

HINWEIS: Warten Sie ca. 15 bis 20 Minuten, bis das Gerät seine Betriebstemperatur erreicht hat.

4. Stellen Sie den BRÄUNUNGSGRADREGLER nach der Aufwärmperiode auf die Mittelposition und toasten Sie zwei Scheiben eines Brotprodukts. Stellen Sie dann den BRÄUNUNGSGRADREGLER wie gewünscht ein.

HINWEIS: Zum Toasten von Produkten mit einem höheren Feuchtigkeitsgehalt - z.B. englische Muffins, Roggenbrot oder Vollkornbrot - verlangsamen Sie das Transportband, indem Sie den BRÄUNUNGSGRADREGLER (im Uhrzeigersinn) auf eine dunklere Einstellung drehen.

Alle Toaster der Serie TM können durch Drehen des Wahlschalters in die Bereitschaftsstellung in einen Stromsparmodus versetzt werden. Im Stromsparmodus läuft der Toaster mit 25 % der verfügbaren Leistung. Siehe 10 .

HINWEIS: Um den Toaster wieder in den Vollbetriebsmodus zu versetzen, drehen Sie den Wahlschalter in die Brot- oder Brötchenstellung. Das Gerät ist dann innerhalb von 5 Minuten wieder zum Toasten bereit.

WARTUNG

ALLGEMEIN

Die Toast-Max-Elektrische Durchlauftoaster der Firma Hatco sind bei minimalem Wartungsbedarf für lange Lebensdauer und maximale Leistung konstruiert.

WARNUNG Zur Vermeidung von Verletzungen schalten Sie den Netzschalter aus, ziehen den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose und lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen, bevor Sie mit den Wartungsarbeiten beginnen.

REINIGUNG

Außen

Um die glänzende Oberfläche des Geräts zu erhalten, wird empfohlen, die äußeren Oberflächen täglich mit einem feuchten Tuch abzuwischen. Hartnäckige Flecken können mit einem guten Reinigungsmittel für rostfreien Stahl oder einem nicht kratzenden Reinigungsmittel entfernt werden. Schwer zu erreichende Stellen sollten mit einer kleinen Bürste und einer milden Seife gereinigt werden.

VORSICHT Nur scheuerfreie Reinigungsmittel verwenden. Scheuernde Reinigungsmittel können die Oberfläche des Toast-MaxToasters verkratzen, wodurch die äußere Erscheinung des Geräts beeinträchtigt wird und sich leichter Verunreinigungen festsetzen können.

Krümelfach und Toast-Auffangbehälter

Diese Teile separat mit Wasser und Seife spülen.

Toast-Zuführgitter

Die beiden Drahtspeichen nach innen drücken und die Führung aus dem Gerät entfernen. Mit einem weichen, feuchten Tuch abwischen oder die Führung in eine milde Lösung aus ca. 225 ml Ammoniak und 3,8 l Wasser eintauchen. Die Führung durch Ausrichten der Drahtspeichen mit den Löchern im Toaster wieder einbauen.

NACHFETTEN

Der Transportbandmotor und das Transportbandsystem sind dauergeschmiert und müssen nicht nachgefettet werden.

WARNUNG Falls eine Reparatur dieses Gerät erforderlich sein sollte, kontaktieren Sie Ihren autorisierten Hatco-Servicebetrieb.

EINGESCHRÄNKTE GARANTIE DURCH HATCO

1. PRODUKTGARANTIE

Hatco gewährleistet, dass die von ihr hergestellten Produkte (die "Produkte") bei normalem Gebrauch und Einsatz für einen Zeitraum von einem (1) Jahr ab dem Kaufdatum keinerlei Materialfehler aufweisen werden, vorausgesetzt, dass sie gemäß der schriftlichen Anleitung von Hatco installiert und gewartet wurden, bzw. für einen Zeitraum von 18 Monaten ab dem Datum der Lieferung durch Hatco. Der Käufer muss das Kaufdatum des Produkts durch Einsendung der Hatco-Garantiekarte oder auf eine andere Weise nachweisen, die von Hatco in deren alleinigem Ermessen als ausreichend erachtet wird.

Hatco garantiert, dass die folgende Produktteile ab dem Kaufdatum (gemäß den obigen Bedingungen) für folgenden Zeitabschnitte und unter folgenden Bedingungen frei von Materialfehlern sind:

2. EINSCHRÄNKUNG DER ERSATZLEISTUNG UND DES SCHADENERSATZES

Hatco’s Schadenersatzpflicht und die ausschließlichen Ersatzansprüche des Käufers aus diesem Titel sind nach Gutdünken von Hatco auf die Reparatur oder den Ersatz von defekten Teilen durch einen von Hatco autorisierten Servicebetrieb unter Berücksichtigung jedes Anspruches, welcher während der anwendbaren Garantiezeit gemacht wurde, beschränkt. Hatco behält sich das Recht vor, jeden solchen Anspruch vollständig oder teilweise zurückzuweisen. Hatco nimmt ohne vorherige schriftliche Zustimmung keine Rücksendung irgendeines Produkts an. Para evitar lesiones o daños ubique la unidad a la altura adecuada, en un área en la que se pueda usar convenientemente. El área debe estar nivelada para evitar que la unidad o su contenido se caiga accidentalmente, y suficientemente resistente para soportar el peso de la unidad.

No ponga nada encima de la tostadora, ya que se podría dañar ó podría sufrir lesiones el personal.

NO se recomienda el tostado de productos recubiertos como pan con ajo, bocadillos de queso o bollos dulces. El residuo reducirá el rendimiento de la tostadora y podría incendiarse el interior.

ADVERTENCIAS

Enchufe la unidad en un tomacorriente eléctrico adecuadamente conectado a tierra, del voltaje, tamaño y configuración de clavija correctos. CONTENIDO

La tostadora eléctrica Toast-Max™de Hatco de cinta transportadora está especialmente diseñada para acelerar la operación de tostado. Los productos que se van a tostar pasan a través de una cámara de calentamiento y se tuestan rápida y completamente. La capacidad para lograr un producto perfectamente tostado depende del contenido de humedad y azúcar y del grosor del pan. La utilización de la velocidad de la cinta transportadora, y no la temperatura, para determinar el color del tostado, permite el ajuste instantáneo del tiempo de tostado.

Las tostadoras Hatco están construidas con calidad para satisfacer las demandas del mercado, y proporcionan años de rendimiento sin problemas. Los resistencias de calentamiento tubulares con camisa metálica y en forma de serpentín están garantizados por dos años contra roturas y quemado.

PRECAUCIONES

Cuando se configura la unidad para el funcionamiento, asegúrese de que la alimentación eléctrica esté apagada y que el tostador esté a temperatura ambiente. De no ser así se podría producir una lesión personal.

Algunas superficies exteriores de la unidad se calentarán. Tenga cuidado al tocar estas áreas para evitar lesiones.

Para evitar daños a la unidad o lesiones al personal utilice siempre la tostadora con la bandeja para migas de las tostadas instalada.

Para evitar lesiones, no quite la bandeja para migas de las tostadas para su limpieza hasta que la tostadora esté fría.

La unidad no es apropiada para funcionamiento a la intemperie. Para una operación segura y adecuada la unidad debe ser instalada en interiores, con una temperatura ambiental sea de un mínimo de 70 °F (21 °C) y un máximo de 85 °F (29 °C).

PRECAUCIONES

No coloque la tostadora en un área expuesta a temperaturas excesivas o a grasa de parrillas, freidoras, etc. Las temperaturas excesivas podrían dañar a la unidad. No coloque la tostadora en un área que restrinja el flujo de aire alrededor del compartimiento del motor. No coloque la tostadora en la salida de una rejilla del aire acondicionado o de aire de ventilación.

Use sólo limpiadores no abrasivos. Los limpiadores abrasivos podrían dañar el acabado de la tostadora Toast-Qwik dañando su apariencia y haciéndola susceptible a la acumulación de suciedad.

DESCRIPCIONES DE LOS MODELOS

TODOS LOS MODELOS

Todas las tostadoras eléctricas Toast-Max™ de cinta transportadora son rápidas, fiables y versátiles, y tuestan hasta 300 rebanadas de pan o panecillos por hora. La descarga delantera o la trasera permiten al operador colocar la tostadora Toast-Max en el lugar más conveniente. Cada tostadora Toast-Max cuenta con resistencias duraderas tubulares con camisa metálica, en forma de serpentín, un motor permanentemente lubricado de la cinta transportadora y un interruptor selector de tostado de cuatro posiciones. Cada unidad se envía con patas ajustables de 102 mm (4 pulgadas), una rampa de alimentación de las tostadas, una bandeja removible para migas y un recipiente para recoger las tostadas.

MODELO TM-5H

El modelo TM-5H permite tostar pan de hasta 64 mm (2 ½ pulgadas) de grueso y 245 mm (9-5/8 de pulgada) de ancho. La capacidad es de hasta 180 rebanadas por hora.

MODELO TM-10H

El modelo TM-10H permite tostar pan de hasta 64 mm (2 ½ pulgadas) de grueso y 245 mm (9-5/8 de pulgada) de ancho. La capacidad es de hasta 300 rebanadas por hora.

INSTALACIÓN

MONTAJE

1. Desembale la unidad.

2. Retire la documentación adjunta. Para evitar la demora

en la obtención de la cobertura bajo garantía, complete y envíe por correo a Hatco la tarjeta de garantía.

3. Quite la cinta del canal de descarga, la bandeja para migas de las tostadas y el recipiente para recoger las tostadas. Véase la Figura 4 .

4. Si la unidad no está nivelada use una llave de tuercas de extremo abierto de 14 mm (9/16") para ajustar el pie de cada pata hasta que la unidad quede nivelada.

UBICACIÓN

PRECAUCIÓN No coloque la tostadora en un área sujeta a temperaturas excesivas ni grasa de parrillas, freidoras, etc. Las temperaturas excesivas pueden causar daño a la unidad. No coloque la tostadora en un área que limite el flujo de aire alrededor de la parte delantera o trasera de la unidad. No coloque la tostadora en la ruta directa de la descarga de una salida de aire acondicionado ni de una salida de aire de compensación.

Rampa de alimentación de las tostadas

La rampa de alimentación de las tostadas se instala en fábrica y puede ser usada en dos posiciones. Véase la Figura 6 .

1. Cuando está en posición vertical, la tostadora está ajustada para alimentación automática. El pan entra a la tostadora colocándolo en la rampa de alimentación de las tostadas y liberándolo.

2. Para la alimentación manual del producto, incline la rampa de alimentación hasta que descanse en la parte superior de la unidad. En esta posición el pan se puede cargar manualmente colocándolo directamente sobre la cinta transportadora.

PRECAUCIÓN Algunas superficies exteriores de la unidad se calentarán. Tenga cuidado al tocar estas áreas para evitar lesiones.

Bandeja para Migas de las Tostadas

Instale la bandeja para las migas de las tostadas directamente debajo de la cinta transportadora y debajo de los pernos de retención. Introdúzcala hasta que la parte frontal de la bandeja para las migas de las tostadas toque los pernos de retención. Véase la Figura 7 .

PRECAUCIÓN Para evitar daños a la unidad o lesiones al personal siempre utilice la tostadora con la bandeja para migas de las tostadas instalada.

PRECAUCIÓN Para evitar lesiones, no quite la bandeja para migas de las tostadas para su limpieza hasta que la tostadora esté fría.

Descarga Delantera y Trasera

Las unidades Toast-Max se pueden configurar de tal manera que el producto salga por delante o por detrás de la unidad.

Para descarga delantera

instale la rampa de la tostadora desde el frente de la tostadora con el extremo curvo hacia adentro y el reborde trasero del canal en los pernos que están en la parte posterior. Vea 8 . La aleta de descarga debe estar en posición cerrada. Vea 9A .

Para la descarga trasera no use el canal de descarga. Si la rampa está instalada, quítela. Para funcionamiento de la tostadora en modo descarga trasera, instale el recipiente para recoger las tostadas, con el extremo abierto primero, sobre el conjunto de pernos que se encuentran en la parte posterior de la unidad. Alinee las ranuras rectas sobre los pernos y baje a su posición. La aleta de descarga debe estar en posición abierta. Vea 9B .

CONFIGURACIÓN

PRECAUCIÓN La unidad no es apropiada para funcionar a la intemperie. Para una operación segura y adecuada la unidad se debe colocar en interiores, en donde la temperatura ambiental sea de un mínimo de 70 °F (21 °C) y un máximo de 85 °F (29 °C).

PRECAUCIÓN NO se recomienda el tostado de los productos recubiertos ó untados como pan de ajo, sandwiches de queso o bollos dulces. Los aderezos reducirá el rendimiento de la tostadora y posiblemente podría incendiarse el interior.

PRECAUCIÓN Cuando se configura para su funcionamiento, asegúrese de que la unidad esté desconectada y que el tostador esté a temperatura ambiente. De no ser así se podría producir una lesión personal.

FUNCIONAMIENTO

MODELOS TM-5H & TM-10H

1. Enchufe la tostadora en un tomacorriente eléctrico adecuadamente conectado a tierra, del voltaje, tamaño y configuración del enchufe correctos. Vea los detalles en la sección de ESPECIFICACIONES.

2. Para tostar los lados superior e inferior del pan, coloque el INTERRUPTOR SELECTOR en la posición de pan. En este momento se iluminará la luz indicadora. Vea 10 .

Para tostar sólo un lado (el lado superior), coloque el INTERRUPTOR SELECTOR en la posición de panecillo. En este momento se iluminará la luz indicadora. Vea 10 .

3. Coloque el CONTROL DE COLOR en la posición más clara mientras la unidad se calienta. Vea 10 .

NOTA: Permita un período de calentamiento de aproximadamente 15 a 20 minutos.

4. Después del período de calentamiento, coloque el CONTROL DE COLOR en la posición media y tueste dos rebanadas de pan y luego reajuste el CONTROL DE COLOR en el posición deseada.

NOTA: Para tostar pan húmedo como muffins ingleses, pan de centeno o de trigo integral, desacelere la correa transportadora girando la perilla de CONTROL DE COLOR a un ajuste más oscuro (hacia la derecha).

Todas las tostadoras serie TM se pueden colocar en modo de Ahorro de Energía colocando el interruptor selector en la posición de Stand-by (pausa). La tostadora opera al 25 % de la potencia en el modo de Ahorro de Energía. Vea 10 .

NOTA: Para colocar la tostadora otra vez en operación completa coloque el interruptor selector en la posición Pan o Panecillo. La unidad estára otra vez lista para su funcionamiento, en solo 5 minutos.

MANTENIMIENTO

GENERAL

Las tostadoras eléctricas de cinta transportadora Toast-Max de Hatco están diseñadas para brindar una durabilidad y rendimiento máximos con un mínimo de mantenimiento.

ADVERTENCIA Para evitar lesiones, apague el interruptor de alimentación, desenchufe la unidad y deje que se enfríe antes de realizar cualquier tipo de mantenimiento.

LIMPIEZA

ADVERTENCIA Este aparato no está construido a prueba de chorro a presión. No utilice rociadores de limpieza con chorro a presión para limpiar este aparato.

Exterior

Para preservar el acabado brillante de la unidad, se recomienda limpiar diariamente las superficies exteriores con un paño húmedo. Las manchas difíciles se pueden eliminar con un buen limpiador para acero inoxidable o uno que no sea abrasivo. Las zonas difíciles de alcanzar se deben limpiar con un cepillo pequeño y un jabón suave.

PRECAUCIÓN Use sólo limpiadores no abrasivos. Los limpiadores abrasivos podrían dañar el acabado de la tostadora Toast-Max dañando su apariencia y haciéndola susceptible a la acumulación de suciedad.

Bandeja Para Migas de las Tostadas y Recipiente Para Recoger las Tostadas

Quítelas de la unidad y lávelas con jabón y agua, y luego enjuáguelas.

Rampa de Alimentación de las Tostadas

Presione los dos radios de alambre y retire la guía de la unidad. Limpie con un paño suave y húmedo o remoje la guía en una solución suave de 1 taza de amoníaco en 1 galón de agua (227 mililitros y 3.785 litros). Vuelva a instalar la guía alineando los radios de alambre con los orificios de la tostadora.

LUBRICACIÓN

El motor de engranaje de la cinta transportadora y el sistema de la cinta transportadora están permanentemente lubricados y no requieren lubricación.

La responsabilidad de Hatco con el comprador se limitará únicamente, a opción de Hatco, a reparar o reemplazar piezas o unidades defectuosas, por parte de una compañia de servicio autorizada por Hatco, con respecto a cualquier reclamación hecha durante el período de garantía aplicable. Hatco se reserva el derecho de aceptar o rechazar cualquier reclamación en parte o en su totalidad. Le grillage de produits recouverts de garniture tels que du pain à l’ail, des sandwiches au fromage et de pains à la crème n’est PAS recommandé. Les résidus réduiront les performances du grille-pain et ceux-ci pourraient également prendre feux à l’intérieur du grille-pain.

Le grille-pain électrique à convoyeur Toast-Max™ de Hatco a été spécialement conçu pour accélérer la procédure de coloration du pain. Les produits à griller traversent une chambre chauffée pour une coloration rapide et complète. La teneur en eau et en sucre, de même que l'épaisseur du pain influent sur la coloration du produit. L'utilisation de la vitesse du convoyeur, et non pas de la température, pour déterminer la coloration permet le réglage instantané de la durée passée sous le gril.

MESSAGES DE PRUDENCE

Lors de la mise en place de l’appareil pour sa mise en route, s’assurer que l’appareil n’est pas sous tension et qu’il est à la température de la pièce. Le fait de ne pas se conformer à ces instructions pourraient entraîner des blessures corporelles.

Certaines surfaces extérieures de l’appareil vont devenir brûlantes durant le fonctionnement. Utiliser la plus extrême prudence lorsque que vous touchez ces régions pour éviter toute blessure.

Pour éviter l'endommagement de l'appareil ou les blessures du personnel, toujours utiliser le grille-pain avec le bac à miettes installé.

Pour éviter les blessures, ne pas retirer le bac à miettes tant que le grille-pain n'a pas refroidi.

L'appareil n'est pas à l'épreuve des intempéries. Pour une utilisation sûre et correcte, il doit se trouver à l'intérieur, à une température ambiante comprise entre 70 °F (21 °C) et 85 °F (29 °C).

MESSAGES DE PRUDENCE

Ne pas placer le grille-pain dans un endroit sujet à des températures excessives ou à des projections de graisses de grills et de friteuses. Des températures excessives pourraient endommager l’appareil. Ne pas placer le grille-pain dans un endroit qui restreint la circulation d’air autour du compartiment du moteur. Ne pas placer le grille-pain dans l’axe direct d’éjection d’une bouche de climatisation ou d’aération.

Utiliser uniquement des nettoyants non abrasifs. Les nettoyants abrasifs risquent de rayer la finition du grillepain Toast-Qwik, d'en détériorer l'aspect et de la rendre susceptible d'accumuler les saletés.

TOUS LES MODÈLES

Tous les grille-pains électriques à convoyeur Toast-Max™ sont rapides, fiables et polyvalents, grillant jusqu'à 300 petits pains ou viennoiseries à l'heure. La décharge avant ou arrière permet à l'opérateur de placer le grille-pain Toast-Max à l'endroit le plus pratique. Chaque grille-pains Toast-Max a des éléments chauffant gainés de métal en serpentin durables, un moteur de convoyeur lubrifié en permanence et un sélecteur de gril à quatre positions. Chaque modèle est expédié avec des pieds réglables de102 mm (4"), une rampe d'entrée des pains, un bac à miettes amovible et un bac de récupération de pains grillés.

MODÈLE TM-5H

Le modèle TM-5H permet de faire griller du pain de 64 mm (2-1/2") d'épaisseur et 245 mm (9-5/8") de largeur maximum. Son rendement est de 180 tranches à l'heure.

MODÈLE TM-10H

INSTALLATION

ASSEMBLAGE

1. Sortir l’appareil de sa boite.

2. Retirez la pochette d'informations. Pour ne pas retarder

l'entrée en vigueur de la garantie, remplissez et envoyez la carte de garantie à Hatco.

3. Retirer le ruban de la rampe de décharge, du bac à miettes et du bac de récupération du pain grillé. Voir la figure 4 .

4. Si l'appareil n'est pas à niveau, utiliser une clé anglaise de 9/16" (14 mm) pour régler chaque pied jusqu'à ce que l'appareil soit bien calé.

EMPLACEMENT

ATTENTION Ne pas placer le grille-pain à un endroit soumis à des températures excessives ou de la graisse provenant de grils, friteuses, etc. Les températures excessives risquent d'endommager l'appareil. Ne pas placer le grille-pain à un endroit où la circulation d'air serait bloquée sur l'avant et l'arrière de l'appareil. Ne pas placer le grille-pain sur la trajectoire de décharge directe d'un évent de climatisation ou d'air d'appoint.

Rampe d'entrée du Pain

La rampe d'entrée du pain est installée en usine et peut s'utiliser dans deux positions. Voir la figure 6 .

1. En position verticale, le grille-pain est réglé pour une entrée automatique. Le pain pénètre tout seul dans le grille-pain: il suffit à l'opérateur de le poser sur la rampe d'entrée.

2. Pour une entrée manuelle, basculer la rampe d'entrée jusqu'à ce qu'elle repose sur le dessus de l'appareil. Dans cette position, le pain peut être manuellement chargé en le posant directement sur le tapis du convoyeur.

ATTENTION Certaines surfaces extérieures de l’appareil vont devenir brûlantes durant le fonctionnement. Utiliser la plus extrême prudence lorsque que vous touchez ces régions pour éviter toute blessure.

Bac à miettes

Installer le bac à miettes juste en dessous du tapis du convoyeur et sous les goupilles d'arrêt. Insérer jusqu'à ce que l'avant du bac à miettes bute sur les goupilles d'arrêt. Voir la figure 7 .

ATTENTION Pour éviter l'endommagement de l'appareil ou les blessures du personnel, toujours utiliser le grille-pain avec le bac à miettes installé.

Éjection Frontale et Arrière

Les appareils Toast-Max peuvent être configurés pour éjecter les pains soit vers l’avant, soit vers l’arrière de l’appareil.

Pour une décharge sur

l'avant, installer la rampe de décharge

du grille-pain par l'avant, l'extrémité incurvée vers l'intérieur et le rebord arrière sur les goupilles les plus reculées. Voir 8 . L'aube de décharge doit être en position fermée. Voir 9A .

Pour une décharge par l'arrière, n'utilisez pas la rampe de décharge. Si la rampe est installée, la retirer. Pour installer le grille-pain en position de décharge arrière, installer le bac de récupération, l'extrémité ouverte en premier, par-dessus le jeu de goupilles à l'arrière de l'appareil. Aligner les coches droites sur les goupilles et abaisser en position. L'aube de décharge doit être en position ouverte. Voir 9B .

FONCTIONNEMENT

MODÈLES TM-5H & TM-10H

1. Brancher l'appareil sur une prise électrique correctement mise à la terre du type, de la taille et de la tension corrects. Pour plus de détails, voir CARACTÉRISTIQUES TECHNIQUES.

2. Pour faire griller les faces supérieure et inférieure du pain, placez le SÉLECTEUR sur position Pain. Le voyant lumineux doit alors s'allumer. Voir 10 .

Pour faire griller une seule face (face supérieure) du pain, placez le SÉLECTEUR sur position Petit pain. Le voyant lumineux doit alors s'allumer. Voir 10 .

3. Tourner la COMMANDE DE COLORATION sur la position la plus claire pendant que l'appareil chauffe. Voir 10 .

REMARQUE: Compter 15 à 20 minutes de préchauffage environ.

4. Au terme de la période de préchauffage, tourner la COMMANDE DE COLORATION sur le réglage " moyen " et faire griller deux tranches de pain, puis tourner la COMMANDE DE COLORATION sur le réglage désiré.

REMARQUE: Pour faire griller des produits à haute teneur en eau comme les English Muffins, le pain de seigle ou le pain complet, ralentir le convoyeur en tournant la COMMANDE DE COLORATION sur un réglage plus foncé (sens des aiguilles d'une montre).

Tous les grille-pains de la série TM peuvent être placés en mode d'économie d'énergie en tournant le sélecteur sur position Attente. Dans ce mode, le grille-pains fonctionne à 25 % de sa puissance. Voir 10 .

REMARQUE: Pour remettre le grille-pains en mode de fonctionnement pleine puissance, tournez le sélecteur sur position Pain ou Petit pain. L'appareil retrouve sa pleine puissance et est prêt à griller en 5 minutes maximum.

MAINTENANCE

GÉNÉRALITÉS

Les grille-pain électriques à convoyeur Toast-Max de Hatco sont conçu pour fournir une durabilité et des performances maximales avec une maintenance minimale.

AVERTISSEMENT Afin d’éviter toute blessure, placer l’interrupteur l’alimentation sur la position arrêt, débrancher l’appareil de la source de courant électrique et laisser celui-ci refroidir avant d’effectuer les opérations de maintenance.

NETTOYAGE

AVERTISSEMENT Cet appareil ménager n’est pas conçu pour être nettoyé par pulvérisation ou aspersion. Ne pas utiliser de pulvérisateurs pour nettoyer cet appareil ménager.

Extérieur

Afin de préserver la brillance extérieure de l’appareil, il est recommandé que les surfaces extérieures soient essuyées quotidiennement avec un chiffon humide. Les dépôts minéraux peuvent être éliminés avec un bon nettoyant pour acier inox ou un produit nettoyant non abrasif. Les recoins difficiles d’accès doivent être nettoyés avec une petite brosse et du savon doux.

ATTENTION Utiliser uniquement des nettoyants non abrasifs. Les nettoyants abrasifs risquent de rayer la finition du grille-pain Toast-Max, d'en détériorer l'aspect et de la rendre susceptible d'accumuler les saletés.

Bac à miettes et bac de Récupération du Pain Grillé

Retirer l'appareil et laver à l'eau et au savon, puis rincer.

Rampe d'entrée du Pain

Appuyer sur les deux tiges métalliques et retirer le guide de l'appareil. 1. GARANTIE DU PRODUIT

Hatco garantit que les produits qu'il fabrique (les " produits ") seront dépourvus de vices de matériel, dans des conditions normales d'utilisation et de maintenance, pendant une période d'un (1) an à partir de la date d'achat à condition qu'ils soient installés et entretenus conformément aux instructions écrites de Hatco ou de 18 mois à partir de la date d'expédition de l'usine Hatco. L'acheteur doit prouver la date d'achat du produit en renvoyant la carte d'enregistrement de garantie ou par tout autre moyen jugé acceptable par Hatco, à sa seule discrétion.

La tostatura di prodotti farciti come pane all’aglio, panini al formaggio e panini dolci NON è consigliata. Eventuali residui possono compromettere il rendimento del tostapane e bruciare all’interno del tostapane.

AVVERTIMENTI

Collegare l'unità a una presa di corrente dotata di conduttore di protezione e di tensione, dimensioni e configurazione della spina adatte. Se la spina non è adatta alla presa, rivolgersi a un elettricista qualificato per determinare le dimensioni e la tensione adatte e fare installare la presa di corrente appropriata.

Per evitare possibili incidenti, spegnere il pulsante di alimentazione, scollegare l’unità dall’alimentatore e lasciare che si raffreddi prima di effettuare qualsiasi intervento di manutenzione.

Per un funzionamento sicuro ed adeguato, l’unità deve essere posizionata a sufficiente distanza dalle pareti e dai materiali combustibili. Il tostapane in continuo Toast-Max™ è stato progettato specificatamente per accelerare la tostatura. I prodotti da tostare scorrono attraverso una camera di cottura dove vengono tostati rapidamente e accuratamente. Il grado di umidità, il contenuto di zucchero e lo spessore del pane influenzano il risultato della tostatura. Poiché il livello di doratura è determinato dalla velocità del nastro trasportatore e non dalla temperatura, si può regolare istantaneamente il tempo di tostatura.

I tostapane Hatco sono prodotti di alta qualità, costruiti specificamente per rispondere ai requisiti per le operazioni su questo tipo di generi alimentari e garantire anni e anni di funzionamento senza problemi. Le resistenze sono garantite per due anni contro rotture e bruciature.

IMPORTANTES INFORMATIONS DE SÉCURITÉ

PRECAUZIONI

Durante la preparazione dell’unità, accertarsi che l’alimentatore sia spento e che il tostapane sia a temperatura ambiente. In caso contrario si possono verificare lesioni personali.

Alcune zone della superficie esterna dell’unità tendono a riscaldarsi. Toccare queste zone con cautela per evitare possibili lesioni.

Per prevenire danni all'unità o infortuni al personale, fare funzionare sempre il tostapane con il cassetto raccoglibriciole installato.

Per prevenire infortuni, non rimuovere il cassetto raccoglibriciole per la pulizia finché il tostapane non si è raffreddato.

L'unità non è resistente alle intemperie. Perché funzioni correttamente e in modo sicuro, deve essere situata al coperto, in un luogo in cui la temperatura ambiente sia compresa tra 21 e 29 °C.

PRECAUZIONI

Non posizionare il tostapane in una zona esposta ad alte temperature o soggetta alla formazione di unto causata da grill, friggitrici ecc. Le temperature eccessive possono danneggiare l’unità. Non posizionare il tostapane in una zona dove il flusso di aria attorno all’alloggiamento del motore è limitato. Non appoggiare il tostapane direttamente sul percorso di scarico o produzione di aria del ventilatore dell’impianto di condizionamento.

Adoperare solo detergenti non abrasivi, dato che quelli abrasivi possono graffiare la finitura del tostapane Toast-Max. Oltre al danno estetico, eventuali graffi facilitano l'accumularsi dello sporco.

TUTTI I MODELLI

Tutti i tostapane in continuo Toast-Max™ sono veloci, affidabili e versatili, con una capacità massima di 300 fette o panini all'ora. La possibilità di uscita dalla parte anteriore o posteriore permette di collocare il tostapane Toast-Max nel punto più comodo. Ogni tostapane Toast-Max utilizza resistenze che offrono lunga durata, un motorino di azionamento del nastro trasportatore che non richiede lubrificazione e un selettore a quattro posizioni. Ogni unità viene spedita con quattro piedini regolabili di 102 mm (4 in), uno scivolo di alimentazione, un cassetto raccoglibriciole estraibile e un vassoio di raccolta dei toast.

MODELO TM-5H

Il modello TM-5H consente di tostare pane di spessore fino a 64 mm (2-1/2 in) e larghezza fino a 245 mm (9-5/8 in). La capacità massima è di 180 fette all'ora.

MODELO TM-10H

Il modello TM-10H consente di tostare pane di spessore fino a 64 mm (2-1/2 in) e larghezza fino a 245 mm (9-5/8 in). La capacità massima è di 300 fette all'ora.

MONTAGGIO

1. Estrarre l’unità dalla scatola.

2. Estrarre la documentazione. Per prevenire ritardi

nell'attivazione della garanzia, compilare la scheda di garanzia e spedirla alla Hatco.

3. Togliere il nastro dallo scivolo di uscita, dal cassetto raccoglibriciole e dal vassoio di raccolta dei toast. Vedi Figura 4 .

4. Se l'unità non è stabile, adoperare una chiave inglese da 14 mm (9/16 in) per regolare opportunamente l’altezza di ciascun piedino.

POSIZIONAMENTO

ATTENZIONE Non collocare il tostapane in una zona esposta ad alte temperature o soggetta ad esalazioni di grasso provenienti da grill, friggitrici ecc. Le temperature eccessive possono danneggiare l'unità. Non collocare il tostapane in una zona dove il flusso di aria attorno alla parte anteriore o posteriore dell'unità sia limitato. Scivolo di Alimentazione

Lo scivolo di alimentazione è stato installato in fabbrica e può essere utilizzato in due posizioni. Vedi Figura 6 .

1. Quando lo scivolo è in verticale, il tostapane viene alimentato automaticamente. Le fette di pane entrano nel tostapane quando vengono rilasciate dopo essere state collocate sullo scivolo.

2. Per alimentare il tostapane manualmente, inclinare lo scivolo finché poggia sulla parte superiore dell'unità. Quando esso è in questa posizione le fette di pane possono essere collocate direttamente sul nastro trasportatore.

ATTENZIONE Alcune zone della superficie esterna dell’unità si riscaldano. Toccare queste zone con cautela per evitare eventuali lesioni.

Cassetto Raccoglibriciole

Installarlo direttamente sotto il nastro trasportatore e le spine di arresto, inserendolo finché queste non ne bloccano la parte anteriore. Vedi Figura 7 .

ATTENZIONE Per prevenire danni all'unità o infortuni al personale, fare funzionare sempre il tostapane con il cassetto raccoglibriciole installato.

ATTENZIONE Per prevenire infortuni, non rimuovere il cassetto raccoglibriciole per la pulizia finché il tostapane non

si è raffreddato.

Uscita Anteriore e Posteriore

Le unità Toast-Max possono essere impostate in modo tale che il prodotto venga scaricato dal lato anteriore o posteriore.

te anteriore, installare lo scivolo dalla

partesul lato anteriore del tostapane, con l'estremità curva verso l'interno e il bordo posteriore dello scivolo stesso sulle spine posteriori più indietro. Vedi 8 . Il vano per lo scivolo deve essere chiuso. Vedi 9A .

Nel caso di uscita dalla parte posteriore, non utilizzare lo scivolo; se questo è installato, rimuoverlo. Per predisporre il tostapane per l'uscita dalla parte posteriore, installare il cassetto raccoglibriciole, introducendo per prima l'estremità aperta, sul gruppo di spine situate sul retropresso la parte posteriore dell'unità; allineare le tacche diritte

sopra le spine e abbassare il cassetto

finché poggia. Il vano per lo scivolo deve essere aperto. Vedi 9B .

FUNZIONAMENTO

MODELLI TM-5H E TM-10H

1. Collegare il tostapane a una presa di corrente adatta per voltaggio e configurazione della spina. Per ulteriori informazioni vedere la sezione SPECIFICHE.

2. Per tostare i lati superiore e inferiore del pane, girare il selettore sulla posizione "panefetta"; la spia si accende. Vedi 10 .

Per tostare un solo lato del pane (quello superiore), girare il selettore sulla posizione "fettepanino"; la spia si accende. Vedi 10 .

3. Girare il REGOLATORE DI DORATURA sulla posizione di doratura minima e mantenervelo mentre l'unità si riscalda. Vedi 10 .

NOTA: attendere circa 15 - 20 minuti perché l'unità si riscaldi.

4. Al termine del periodo di riscaldamento, girare il REGOLATORE DI DORATURA sulla posizione intermedia e tostare due fette di pane; portare quindi il REGOLATORE DI DORATURA sulla posizione desiderata.

NOTA: per tostare prodotti morbidi come i muffin, il pane di segale o il pane integrale, fare rallentare il nastro trasportatore girando il REGOLATORE DI DORATURA su una posizione corrispondente a una doratura maggiore (in senso orario).

Tutti i tostapane serie TM possono essere portati in modalità di risparmio energetico: girare il selettore sulla posizione di standby. In questa modalità il tostapane consuma il 25% della potenza massima. Vedi 10 .

NOTA: per riportare il tostapane nella modalità di normale funzionamento, girare il selettore sulla posizione "panefetta" o "fettepanino". L'unità sarà pronta per eseguire la tostatura entro 5 minuti.

MANUTENZIONE

I tostapane in continuo Toast-Max della Hatco sono stati progettati per garantire la massima durata ed il massimo rendimento con una manutenzione minima.

ATTENZIONE Per evitare possibili lesioni, prima di effettuare qualsiasi intervento di manutenzione, disattivare il pulsante di alimentazione, scollegare l’unità dall’alimentatore ed attendere che si raffreddi.

Superficie Esterna

Per preservare la lucentezza della superficie esterna dell’unità, è consigliabile pulire ogni giorno le pareti esterne con un panno umido. Le macchie difficili possono essere eliminate con un buon detergente per acciaio inossidabile o un detergente non abrasivo. Le aree più difficili da raggiungere devono essere pulite con uno spazzolino ed un detergente delicato.

ATTENTION Adoperare solo detergenti non abrasivi, dato che quelli abrasivi possono graffiare la finitura del tostapane Toast-Qwik. Oltre al danno estetico, eventuali graffi facilitano l'accumularsi dello sporco.

Cassetto raccoglibriciole e Vassoio di Raccolta dei Toast

Rimuoverli dall'unità, lavarli con acqua e sapone e sciacquarli.

Scivolo di Alimentazione

Premere verso l'interno i due raggi metallici e rimuovere lo scivolo dall'unità. Pulirlo con un panno morbido e umido oppure immergerlo in una soluzione di 227 millilitri (1 cup) di ammoniaca e 3,79 litri (1 gal) di acqua. Reinstallarlo allineando i raggi metallici ai fori sul tostapane.

LUBRIFICAZIONE

Il riflettore dell'elemento riscaldante inferiore è dotato di scanalature che consentono alle briciole di cadere sul cassetto raccoglibriciole. Nel corso del tempo, sul riflettore si possono accumulare briciole che quindi non cadono sul cassetto. Per eliminare tali accumuli, lasciare raffreddare il tostapane e ripulire il riflettore con un pennello di setole, facendo cadere le briciole sul cassetto.

1. GARANZIA SUL PRODOTTO

La Hatco garantisce che i prodotti di sua fabbricazione (i "Prodotti"), in normali condizioni di uso e manutenzione, sono esenti da difetti di materiale per un (1) anno dalla data di acquisto, se installati e mantenuti in osservanza delle istruzioni scritte della Hatco, oppure per 18 mesi dalla data di spedizione dalla Hatco. L'acquirente deve stabilire la data di acquisto del prodotto mediante invio della sched a di registrazione della garanzia Hatco oppure in altro modo ritenuto soddisfacente ad esclusiva discrezione della Hatco.

2. LIMITI DEGLI OBBLIGHI DI RIPARAZIONE E DI RISARCIMENTO DANNI

La responsabilità della Hatco ed i diritti di riparazione esclusivi dell’Acquirente stabiliti dal presente documento si limiteranno esclusivamente, a discrezione della Hatco, alla riparazione o alla sostituzione del componente o dell’unità difettosa da parte di un ente di servizio autorizzato dalla Hatco per eventuali reclami presentati entro il periodo di garanzia previsto. La Hatco si riserva il diritto di accettare o respingere parzialmente o completamente il reclamo. La Hatco non accetterà la restituzione dei propri Prodotti senza previa approvazione scritta da parte della stessa e le spese di spedizione saranno esclusivamente a carico dell’Acquirente. VOORZORGSMAATREGELEN

Om letsel en schade te voorkomen, plaatst u het apparaat op de juiste tafelhoogte in een omgeving waar u gemakkelijk kan werken. De locatie moet waterpas zijn om te voorkomen dat het apparaat of de inhoud ervan per ongeluk valt, en sterk genoeg om het gewicht van het apparaat te dragen.

Niets boven op de toaster plaatsen omdat dit de toaster kan beschadigen of het personeel aan mogelijk lichamelijk letsel kan blootstellen.

Het toasten van belegde producten zoals knoflookbrood, sandwiches met kaas en zoete broodjes is NIET aanbevolen. Residu vermindert het prestatievermogen van de toaster en kan mogelijk binnenin de toaster in brand schieten.

WAARSCHUWINGEN

Steek de stekker van de toaster in een geaard stopcontact van de juiste spanning, grootte en stekkerconfiguratie. Als de stekker niet bij het stopcontact past, moet een bevoegd elektricien de juiste spanning en grootte bepalen en het juiste stopcontact installeren.

Om letsels te voorkomen, de stroomschakelaar uit zetten, de stekker van het apparaat uit de contactdoos trekken en het apparaat laten afkoelen alvorens onderhoud uit te voeren.

Voor veilige en juiste werking moet het apparaat op een redelijke afstand van brandbare muren en materialen worden geplaatst. Indien veilige afstanden niet in acht worden genomen, kunnen verkleuring of ontbranding zich voordoen. De toaster niet onder een legplank of dichter dan 305 mm (12") van het plafond plaatsen.

INHOUD

De Hatco Toast-Max™ elektrische toaster met transportband is speciaal ontworpen om sneller te roosteren. De te roosteren producten gaan door een verhittingskamer waar ze snel en grondig worden geroosterd. Het vocht- en suikergehalte en de dikte van het brood zijn van invloed op het vermogen om een perfect geroosterd product te verkrijgen. Doordat de kleur van het geroosterde brood wordt bepaald door de snelheid van de transportband en niet door de temperatuur, kan de roostertijd onmiddellijk worden aangepast.

Hatco toasters zijn kwaliteitsproducten die aan de eisen van foodservicebedrijven voldoen en jarenlang zonder problemen werken. De met metaal beklede buisvormige verwarmingsspiralen worden twee jaar lang gegarandeerd tegen breken en doorbranden.

BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSINSTRUCTIES

VOORZORGSMAATREGELEN

Als het apparaat opgesteld wordt om in gebruik te nemen, dient u er op te letten dat de stroomtoevoer naar het apparaat uit staat en de toaster zich op kamertemperatuur bevindt. Nalaten dit te doen kan persoonlijk letsel tot gevolg hebben.

Sommige oppervlakken aan de buitenkant worden heet. Wees voorzichtig als u deze oppervlakken aanraakt om letsels te voorkomen.

Om beschadiging van het apparaat of lichamelijk letsel te voorkomen, de toaster altijd gebruiken met de kruimelschaal erin.

Om letsel te voorkomen, de kruimelschaal pas uit de toaster halen om hem schoon te maken wanneer de toaster is afgekoeld.

Het apparaat is niet weerbestendig. Voor veilige en juiste werking moet het apparaat binnen staan waar de omgevingstemperatuur minimaal 21 °C (70 °F) en maximaal 29 °C (85 °F ) is.

VOORZORGSMAATREGELEN

Plaats de toaster niet in een gebied dat onderhevig is aan buitenmatige temperaturen of vet van grills, braadpannen, enz. Buitenmatige temperaturen kunnen het apparaat beschadigen. De toaster niet in een gebied plaatsen met beperkte luchtstroming rond het motorcompartiment. De toaster niet in de rechtstreekse afvoer van een airconditioning of een ventilatieopening plaatsen.

Gebruik uitsluitend niet-schurende reinigingsmiddelen. Schuurmiddelen kunnen krassen op de finish van de ToastMax toaster veroorzaken, die ontsierend zijn en tot vuilophoping leiden.

Dit product bevat geen onderdelen die door de gebruiker kunnen worden onderhouden. Om schade aan het apparaat of letsels aan het personeel te voorkomen, alleen erkende Hatco service vertegenwoordigers en authentieke Hatco onderdelen gebruiken als onderhoud is vereist.

Originele Hatco vervangingsonderdelen zijn specifiek ontworpen voor de veilige werking in omgevingen waarin ze worden gebruikt. Sommige generische of niet-authentieke vervangingsonderdelen hebben niet de kenmerken die noodzakelijk zijn om op een veilige manier in Hatco apparaten te worden gebruikt. Het is noodzakelijk Hatco vervangingsonderdelen te gebruiken bij het repareren van Hatco apparaten. Nalaten om Hatco vervangingsonderdelen te gebruiken kan de bedieners van de apparaten blootstellen aan gevaarlijke elektrische spanning wat elektrische schok of brandwonden tot gevolg kan hebben.

OMSCHRIJVINGEN MODELLEN

ALLE MODELLEN

Alle Toast-Max™ elektrische toasters met transportband zijn snel, betrouwbaar en veelzijdig; ze kunnen tot 300 sneetjes brood of broodjes per uur roosteren. Door de afvoer aan de voorof achterkant kan de gebruiker de Toast-Max toaster plaatsen waar dit het beste uitkomt. Elke Toast-Max toaster heeft duurzame, met metaal beklede verwarmingsspiralen, een permanent gesmeerde transportbandmotor en een toastkeuzeschakelaar met vier standen. Elk apparaat wordt geleverd met 102 mm lange instelbare poten, een voedingsoploopstuk, verwijderbare kruimelschaal en verzamelpan.

MODEL TM-5H

Model TM-5H kan broodproducten tot 64 mm dik en 245 mm breed roosteren. De capaciteit is maximaal 180 sneetjes per uur.

MODEL TM-10H

Model TM-10H kan broodproducten tot 64 mm dik en 245 mm breed roosteren. De capaciteit is maximaal 300 sneetjes per uur.

De apparaten worden op de fabriek voorzien van een elektrisch snoer en stekker die op de achterkant van het apparaat zijn geïnstalleerd. Stekkers worden geleverd volgens de toepassing zoals aangegeven in afbeelding 2 .

INSTALLATIE

MONTAGE

1. Neem het apparaat uit de doos.

2. Verwijder het informatiepakket. Om zo snel

mogelijk garantie te krijgen, de garantiekaart invullen en naar Hatco opsturen.

3. Verwijder het tape van de afvoerplaat, kruimelschaal en verzamelpan. Zie afbeelding 4 .

4. Als het apparaat niet horizontaal staat, kunt u met een steeksleutel van 9/16" (14 mm) de voet van elke poot afstellen totdat het apparaat waterpas staat.

LOCATIE

OPGELET Plaats de toaster niet op een plaats waar hij blootgesteld kan worden aan zeer hoge temperaturen of vet van grills, braadpannen enz. Overmatige temperaturen kunnen het apparaat beschadigen. Plaats de toaster niet op een plaats met beperkte luchtstroom om de voor- of achterkant van het apparaat. Plaats de toaster niet aan de afvoer van een van een airconditioning of een ventilatieopening.

Aanvoergeleider

Het voedingsoploopstuk is in de fabriek aangebracht en kan in twee standen worden gebruikt. Zie afbeelding 6 .

1. In de verticale stand is de toaster ingesteld op automatische toevoer. De broodproducten gaan de toaster in wanneer u ze op het voedingsoploopstuk plaatst en loslaat.

2. Voor handmatige invoer van het product kantelt u de aanvoergeleider totdat het boven op het apparaat ligt. In deze stand kunnen broodproducten handmatig worden ingebracht door ze direct op de transportband te plaatsen.

OPGELET Sommige oppervlakken aan de buitenkant worden heet. Wees voorzichtig als u deze oppervlakken aanraakt om letsels te voorkomen.

Kruimelschaal

Installeer de kruimelschaal direct onder de transportband en onder de aanslagpennen. Steek hem in het apparaat totdat de voorkant van de kruimelschaal de aanslagpennen raakt. Zie afbeelding 7 .

OPGELET Om beschadiging van het apparaat of lichamelijk letsel te voorkomen, de toaster altijd gebruiken met de kruimelschaal erin.

Afvoer aan de voor- en achterkant

Toast-Max apparaten kunnen zodanig opgesteld worden dat het product ofwel aan de voorkant ofwel aan de achterkant wordt afgevoerd.

Voor afvoer

de voorkant van de toaster met het gebogen uiteinde naar binnen en de achterste lip van de plaat op de achterste pennen. Zie 8 . De afvoerklep moet in de gesloten stand zijn. Zie 9A .

Voor afvoer aan de achterkant gebruikt u de afvoerplaat niet. Als de afvoerplaat is aangebracht, verwijder hem dan. Om de toaster op te stellen voor afvoer aan de achterkant, plaatst u de verzamelpan, met het open uiteinde naar binnen, boven de pennen aan de achterkant van het apparaat. Plaats de rechte inkepingen boven de pennen en laat de pan zakken. De afvoerklep moet in de open stand zijn. Zie 9B .

2. Om de boven- en onderkant van het brood te roosteren, plaatst u de KEUZESCHAKELAAR in de stand voor sneetjes brood. Het indicatielampje brandt nu. Zie 10 .

3. Zet de KLEURREGELING op de lichtste stand terwijl het apparaat opwarmt. Zie 10 .

OPMERKING: Laat het apparaat ca. 15 à 20 minuten opwarmen.

4. Zet de KLEURREGELING na de opwarmperiode op de middelhoge stand en rooster twee sneetjes brood; stel de KLEURREGELING vervolgens in op de gewenste stand.

OPMERKING: Om vochtige producten zoals English Muffins, roggebrood of volkorenbrood te roosteren, verlaagt u de snelheid van de transportband door de KLEURREGELKNOP op een donkerdere stand te plaatsen (met de klok mee).

Alle toasters van de TM-serie kunnen in een energiespaarstand geplaatst worden door de keuzeschakelaar op stand-by te zetten. In de energiebesparende stand werkt de toaster op 25% vermogen. Zie 10 .

OPMERKING: Om de toaster weer op volle kracht te laten werken, plaatst u de keuzeschakelaar in de stand voor sneetjes brood of broodjes. Het apparaat is binnen 5 minuten weer klaar om te roosteren.

ONDERHOUD

ALGEMEEN

De Hatco Toast-Max elektrische toasters met transportband zijn ontworpen voor maximale duurzaamheid en prestatie met een minimum aan onderhoud.

WAARSCHUWING Om letsels te voorkomen, de stroomschakelaar uit zetten, de stekker van het apparaat uit de contactdoos trekken en het apparaat laten afkoelen alvorens onderhoud uit te voeren.

REINIGEN

WAARSCHUWING Dit toestel heeft geen hoge druk straalbestendige constructie.

Geen hoge drukstraalreinigingssproeier gebruiken om dit toestel te reinigen.

Buitenkant

Om de glanzende finish van het apparaat te behouden, wordt aanbevolen dat exterieure oppervlakken dagelijks met een vochtige doek worden afgenomen. Hardnekkige vlekken mogen met een goed schoonmaakmiddel voor roestvrij staal of een nietschurend schoonmaakmiddel worden verwijderd. Moeilijk te bereiken gebieden dienen met een kleine borstel en een zachte zeep te worden gereinigd.

OPGELET Gebruik uitsluitend niet-schurende reinigingsmiddelen. Schuurmiddelen kunnen krassen op de finish van de ToastQwik toaster veroorzaken, die ontsierend zijn en tot vuilophoping leiden.

Kruimelschaal en verzamelpan

Haal ze uit het apparaat, was ze met water en zeep en spoel ze af.

Aanvoergeleider

Druk op de twee draadspaken en haal de geleider uit het apparaat. Maak de geleider schoon met een zachte, vochtige doek of laat hem in een zwakke oplossing van 227 milliliter (1 kop) ammoniak en 3,785 liter water weken. Breng de geleider weer aan door de draadspaken op één lijn te brengen met de gaten in de toaster.

SMEREN

De tandwielmotor van de transportband en het transportbandsysteem zijn permanent gesmeerd en hoeven niet gesmeerd te worden.

WAARSCHUWING Dit product bevat geen onderdelen die door de gebruiker kunnen worden onderhouden. Om schade aan het apparaat of letsels aan het personeel te voorkomen, alleen erkende Hatco service vertegenwoordigers en authentieke Hatco onderdelen gebruiken als onderhoud is vereist.

WAARSCHUWING Originele Hatco vervangingsonderdelen zijn specifiek ontworpen voor de veilige werking in omgevingen waarin ze worden gebruikt. Sommige generische of niet-authentieke vervangingsonderdelen hebben niet de kenmerken die noodzakelijk zijn om op een veilige manier in Hatco apparaten te worden gebruikt. Het is noodzakelijk Hatco vervangingsonderdelen te gebruiken bij het repareren van Hatco apparaten. Nalaten om Hatco vervangingsonderdelen te gebruiken kan de bedieners van de apparaten blootstellen aan gevaarlijke elektrische spanning wat elektrische schok of brandwonden tot gevolg kan hebben.

HATCO BEPERKTE GARANTIE

1. PRODUCTGARANTIE

Hatco garandeert dat de producten die zij vervaardigt (de "Producten") vrij zijn van materiaalfouten bij normaal gebruik en onderhoud, gedurende de periode van één (1) jaar vanaf de aankoopdatum als ze geïnstalleerd en onderhouden worden in overeenstemming met de schriftelijke instructies van Hatco of gedurende 18 maanden na datum van verzending door Hatco. De Koper moet de aankoopdatum van het product registreren door de Garantieregistratiekaart te retourneren aan Hatco, of deze datum op een andere wijze aan Hatco mededelen, naar goeddunken van Hatco.

Hatco garandeert dat de volgende productonderdelen vrij zijn van defecten in materialen vanaf de aankoopdatum (onderhevig aan de voorafgaande voorwaarden) voor de periode(n) in overeenstemming met de voorwaarden die hieronder worden gespecificeerd:

a) Eén (1) jaar op onderdelen PLUS een bijkomende

garantie van één (1) jaar uitsluitend op onderdelen:

b) Eén (1) jaar op onderdelen PLUS een garantie van vier

(4) bijkomende jaren uitsluitend op onderdelen op basis van pro rato voorwaarden die Hatco zal uitleggen op verzoek van de Koper:

c) Eén (1) jaar garantie op onderdelen en arbeid PLUS negen

(9) jaar garantie op alleen onderdelen voor:

DE VOORAFGAANDE GARANTIES ZIJN EXCLUSIEF EN VERVANGEN ALLE ANDERE GARANTIES, OFWEL UITDRUKKELIJK OF GEÏMPLICEERD, MET INBEGRIP VAN, MAAR NIET BEPERKT TOT, ENIGE GEÏMPLICEERDE GARANTIE VAN VERKOOPBAARHEID, OF GESCHIKTHEID VOOR EEN BEPAALD DOEL, OF OCTROOI, OF ANDERE INBREUK OP INTELLECTUELE EIGENDOMSRECHTEN. Zonder de algemeenheid van het voorafgaande te beperken DEKKEN ZULKE GARANTIES NIET HET VOLGENDE: Gecoate gloeilampen, fluorescentielampen, gloeilampen voor lampverwarmers, glazen onderdelen of het falen van het Product in de omlooptank en in de lamellenbuis van de warmtewisselaar veroorzaakt door kalkafzetting, sedimentafzettingen, chemische invreting of bevriezen in de tanks, misbruik van het Product, knoeien of verkeerde toepassing, onjuiste installatie, toepassen van de verkeerde spanning.

2. BEPERKING VAN REMEDIES EN SCHADE

Hatco’s wettelijke aansprakelijkheid en de exclusieve remedie van de Koper die hieronder wordt vermeld, zal uitsluitend beperkt zijn, naar goeddunken van Hatco, tot het repareren of vervangen van het defecte onderdeel of apparaat door een door Hatco erkende service-instelling met betrekking tot alle vorderingen die binnen een van toepassing zijnde periode worden ingediend. Hatco behoudt zich het recht voor om vorderingen in hun geheel of gedeeltelijk te aanvaarden of af te wijzen. Hatco aanvaardt geen geretourneerde Producten zonder voorafgaandelijk verkregen schriftelijke toestemming van Hatco, en alle onkosten voor goedgekeurde geretourneerde producten zijn ten laste van de Koper. ONDER GEEN ENKELE OMSTANDIGHEDEN ZAL HATCO AANSPRAKELIJK GESTELD WORDEN VOOR GEVOLGSCHADE OF BIJKOMENDE SCHADE, MET INBEGRIP VAN, MAAR NIET BEPERKT TOT, ARBEIDSONKOSTEN OF WINSTDERVING RESULTERENDE VAN HET GEBRUIK VAN OF HET ONVERMOGEN DE PRODUCTEN TE GEBRUIKEN, OF VAN DE PRODUCTEN DIE GEÏNCORPOREERD WORDEN IN OF EEN ONDERDEEL WORDEN VAN ENIG ANDER PRODUCT OF ENIGE ANDERE GOEDEREN.
