INSTALLATION, OPERATION, MAINTENANCE
& SERVICE INSTRUCTIONS
INSTALLATION
Remove all packaging material and protective paper from the unit prior to energizing. Place warmer at point of use, making sure base of unit is stable. Plug the unit into an appropriate 20 amp outlet. (See spec plate for appropriate voltage 115 V or 115/208 V or 115/230 V.)
OPERATION
Turn the individual shelf switches "on". When the switch is in the "on" position, a red light will appear in the switch.
The thermostats, which control the operating temperature of the unit, are preset from the factory. If the unit is not performing satisfactorily, the thermostat may be adjusted with a screwdriver (See Service Instructions).
MAINTENANCE WARNING: Unplug unit prior to maintenance. Since the unit may be hot after energizing,
allow to cool prior to maintenance.
To preserve the finish of the MH -2 food warmer, it is recommended that the exterior surfaces be wiped daily with a damp cloth and mild cleaning agent. Do not use abrasive cleaning materials. Hardcoat surfaces (those with the black anodized finish) may be cleaned using a non-metallic scrubber. The stainless steel personnel protectors are removable for cleaning.
SERVICE
There are no user serviceable parts on the MH -2 food warmers with the exception of the adjustable thermostats. Turning the thermostat adjustment clockwise will increase the operating temperature of the unit. Conversely, turning the thermostat adjustment counterclockwise will decrease the operating temperature of the unit.
If the unit does not seem to be operating correctly, contact a service representative.
