The Hatco® Mini-Compact Electric Specialty Water
Heater provides 180°F (82°C) water for hot water
sanitizing. The Mini-Compact can be installed almost
anywhere and comes with standard 6" (152 mm) legs.
Available in four models with a storage capacity of

3.2 gallons (12 liters).

Standard features

• Mini-Compact Water Heaters feature a stainless steel tank and
a fast recovery

• Available in four models: 10kW, 11kW, 15kW and 17kW

• All models include stainless steel front with powdercoated
silver-gray hammertone body, black base and 6" (152 mm) legs

• Fiberglass insulation to minimize heat loss

• Standard models come with low-water cut-off (LWCO),
temperature/pressure relief valve, pressure reducing valve
and two temperature/pressure gauges

WATER QUALITY REQUIREMENTS

Incoming water in excess of 3.0 grains of hardness per gallon (GPG) (.75 grains of
hardness per liter) must be treated and softened before being supplied to booster
heater(s). Water containing over 3.0 GPG (.75 GPL) will decrease the efciency and
reduce the operating life of the unit.

Note: Product failure caused by liming or sediment buildup is not covered
under warranty.

PRODUCT SPECS
Electric Booster Water Heater

The Electric Specialty Water Heater to supply 180°F (82°C) water shall be
a Mini-Compact Model ... as manufactured for commercial use by the Hatco
Corporation, Milwaukee,WI 53234 U.S.A.

The Water Heater shall have the capacity to heat ... gph (lph) from 120°F to 180°F
(49°C to 82°C) and it shall be rated at ... kW, ... volts, ... phase.

The heater shall be complete with a stainless steel tank and all internal plumbing,
including ¾" NPT pipe and ttings for inlet and outlet. All controls shall be built-in,
including contactors and prewired in accordance with UL #1453 and NEC 422-27.

Proper surface mounting circuit breaker or fused disconnect switch
shall be provided by electrical contractor.

Electric heating elements shall be metal sheathed, controlled by an ambient
compensating immersion thermostat. The Water Heater shall be protected with
high-temperature limit switch (ECO) and low-water cut-off.

The heater shall consist of stainless steel front and silver-gray hammertone body
with standard 6" (152 mm) legs.

Warranty consists of 24/7 parts and service assistance (US and Canada only).
