You will need the manual for the safety warnings and precautions, assembly instructions,
operating and maintenance procedures, parts list and diagram. Keep your invoice with this
manual. Write the invoice number on the inside of the front cover. Keep the manual and
invoice in a safe and dry place for future reference.

Safety Warnings and Precautions

WARNING: When using product, basic safety precautions should always be followed
to reduce the risk of personal injury and damage to equipment.

Read all instructions before using this Tent!

1. Keep camp area clean. Cluttered areas invite injuries.

2. Observe work area conditions. Keep work area well lighted during assembly.

3. Keep children away. Children must never be allowed in the work area during
assembly. Do not let them assemble the Tent, or use it without adult supevision.

4. Store idle equipment. When not in use, the Tent must be stored in a dry location to
inhibit mold.

5. Do not modify this Tent and do not use this Tent for a purpose for which it was
not intended.

6. Pick a proper location. Set up the Tent on a flat, level surface. Make sure to set up
the tent a safe distance from the campfire or any other heat source.

7. Use eye and hand protection. Always wear ANSI approved impact safety goggles
and gloves during assembly.

8. Maintain the Tent with care. Keep the Tent clean for better and safer performance.
Inspect Tent Poles and fabric periodically, and if damaged, have them repaired by an
authorized technician.

9. Stay alert. Watch what you are doing, use common sense. Do not assemble the tent
when you are tired.

10. Check for damaged parts. Before using any product, any part that appears
damaged should be carefully checked to determine that it will operate properly and
perform its intended function. Check for any broken parts or mounting fixtures; and
any other condition that may affect proper operation. Any part that is damaged should
be properly repaired or replaced by a qualified technician.

11. Replacement parts and accessories. When servicing, use only identical
replacement parts. Use of any other parts will void the warranty. Only use accessories
intended for use with this Tent. Approved accessories are available from Harbor
Freight Tools.

12. Do not assemble the Tent if under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Read
warning labels if taking prescription medicine to determine if your judgment or reflexes
are impaired while taking drugs. If there is any doubt, do not assemble the Tent.

13. Warning! Keep all flame and heat sources away from the Tent. This Tent is not
fireproof and the fabric will ignite and burn if put in contact with any flame source. Do
not leave campfires unattended. Do not situate the Tent near an open flame. Do not
use lit candles, matches, or cooking equipment in or near the Tent. Do not spray the
Tent with insecticide.

14. Use care when using electrical products in or near the tent.

15. Always extinguish fires when leaving the camping area.

16. This Tent is water repellent, not waterproof. During heavy rain some leakage may
occur. Keep objects from touching the inside of the Tent as they may cause leakage
at the point of contact. Water pockets may also form on the roof, if the Tent is not
assembled taut.

Warning: The warnings, cautions, and instructions discussed in this instruction manual
cannot cover all possible conditions and situations that may occur. It must be under­stood by the operator that common sense and caution are factors which cannot be
built into this product, but must be supplied by the operator.

Unpacking

When unpacking, check to make sure the parts listed on page 6 are included. If any parts
are missing or broken, please call Harbor Freight Tools at the number on the cover of this
manual as soon as possible.

Warning!! Never use any fuel burning device that produces fumes (including stoves,
lanterns, candles, barbeques, or heaters) in or around the Dome Tent. These devices
emit carbon monoxide, an odorless, colorless, toxic gas that may cause personal in­jury or death.

Assembly

1. Spread out the tent on a smooth, level surface with the doorway facing the desired direc-

tion. Make sure no rocks or sharp sticks are under the Tent.

2. Assemble the two Shock Cord Poles (1) allowing the fiberglas rods to snap into the metal

brackets. Be careful as there is tension between each pole due to the tight, springy cord
running through all of the Shock Cord Poles (1). Caution! Frayed fiberglass rods can cause
injury.

3. Unzip the door and position one of the assembled Shock Cord Poles (1) so the ends fit in

each a corner slots on opposite sides of the Tent. Put the Shock Cord Pole (1) into the far
corner first. Secure the walls and ceiling of the Tent to the Shock Cord (1) with the ties in the
Tent. Repeat the procedure with the remaining ShockCord (1) in the two remaining corners.

4. Assemble the shock cord Rainfly Awning Pole (2). Attach the Rainfly Awning Pole (2) into

the holders on top of the Tent on the Rainfly. See FIGURE 2.The Rainfly Awning Pole (2) will
hold the Rainfly in an umbrella like fashion, off of the Tent Ceiling.

Door Latch Bars

5. Using a rubber mallet (not included), tap a Stake (7) into each corner Stake Loop. Angle

the Stake (7) at approximately 70 to 80 degrees, with the top leaning away from the Tent.
See FIGURE 2.
Note: When the Door is open, you can secure the loops on the Door to the Door
Latch Bars outside. The outside Door Latch Bars are shown in FIGURE 2.

When taking down the Tent, unzip the Door and Window and first remove the Rainfly
Awning Pole (2). Next, untie the ties attaching the Tent walls and ceiling to the Shock Cord
Poles (1), and remove the assembled Shock Cord Poles (1) from the corners. The Tent will
collapse. Remove the Stakes (7) from the ground (do not pull on the Stake Loops). Place the
Stakes (7) in the Stake Bag (6). Clean and fold the Tent Body (3) and place it in the Tent Bag
(4). Disassemble the Shock Cord Poles (1) and put them in the Pole Bag (5).

Important: To avoid mildew, make sure theTent Body (3) is completely dry before stor­ing it in the Tent Bag (4).

Maintenance

1. Before each use inspect the general conditon of the Tent. Check for rips or tears, cracked,

bent, or broken parts, loose seams, frayed rods, and any other condition that may affect its
safe operation. If a problem occurs, have it corrected before further use.
Do not use damaged equipment.

2. To clean the Tent Body (3), use only water and a mild detergent. Hang dry. Make sure the

Tent is completly dry before packing into the Tent Bag (4).
