You will need the manual for the safety warnings and precautions, assembly
instructions, operating and maintenance procedures, parts list and diagram. Keep
your invoice with this manual. Write the invoice number on the inside of the front
cover. Keep the manual and invoice in a safe and dry place for future reference.
SAFETY WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
1. KEEP PRODUCT ASSEMBLY AND DISPLAY AREAS CLEAN. Cluttered areas
invite injuries. Assemble and display product on flat, level surface such as carpet or
grass.
2. KEEP CHILDREN AWAY FROM PRODUCT. Do not allow children to handle or
climb upon this product. This is not a toy. It is a decorative item only. Place in an
area where tipping over the Wishing Well will be prevented.
3. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO ASSEMBLE THIS PRODUCT IF UNDER THE INFLU-
ENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS. Read warning labels on prescriptions to
determine if your judgement or reflexes are impaired while taking drugs. If there is
any doubt, do not attempt to assemble this product.
4. USE EYE PROTECTION. Wear ANSI approved safety impact goggles when
assembling this product. Goggles are available from Harbor Freight Tools.
5. CHECK FOR DAMAGED PARTS. Before using this product, carefully check for
damaged parts and any other conditions that may affect its operation. Replace or
repair damaged or worn parts immediately.
6. REPLACEMENT PARTS AND ACCESSORIES. When repairing, use only identical
replacement parts.
7. AVOID SHARP EDGES WHEN ASSEMBLING. Cut wood may have splinters
within. Also, some of the mounting hardware may have sharp points.
9. NOT INTENDED TO HOLD WATER.

UNPACKING
When unpacking, check to make sure all parts shown on the Parts List (page 5) are
included. If any parts are missing or broken, please call Harbor Freight Tools at the
number shown on the cover of this manual as soon as possible.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
We suggest you assemble the unit on a soft, clean surface to avoid damage to the finish.
ASSEMBLY OF WISHING WELL
1. Join the Vertical Supports (7 & 8) with the Screws (1) and Nuts (6) in two places each. This
will make two Vertical Support assemblies. See Figure A.
2. On the outer side of Well Base (10), insert Bolts (3) on each side so they show on the inside
of the Well Base. See Figure A.

3. Insert the Spindle (9) into the large holes near the top of the Vertical Supports (7) (left and
right). You do this by pressing the Wooden Locking Pin (A) at the end of the Spindle (9) into
the holes near the top of the Vertical Supports (7). See Figure A & B.

4. Lift the assembled Vertical Supports (7 & 8) (right and left), with the Spindle (9) in place.
Place assembly inside the Well Base (10). Align the two holes in each of the lower Vertical
Supports (8) over the Bolts (3) which should be protruding on the inside of the Well Base,
using assistance if neccessary. Use Nuts (6) on the Bolts (3) and tighten Nuts inside of the
Well Base. See Figure C
Note: If the predrilled holes are not drilled all the way through the wood, use a drill to clear them.
5. Secure the Rooftop with Support (11 & 12) to each of the Vertical Supports (7) (right and
left), using Bolts (2) and Nuts (6). Tighten Nuts and Bolts securely. If Rooftop is not
preassembled with Slats (15), use Woodscrews (4) to assemble. See Figure D.
6. Gently tap the Crank (13) onto end of the Spindle at the Wooden Locking Pin (A) with a
hammer (hammer not included). See Figure E.
7. Tie Rope (16) around handles of Bucket (14). Staple other end of Rope onto Spindle (9)
securely. (Staple Gun not included). Wrap Rope around Spindle several times so the Bucket
is visible and not resting on the bottom of the Wishing Well Base. See Figure C and E.
