Assembly Instructions
Read the ENTIRE IMPORTANT SAFETY
INFORMATION section at the beginning of this document including all text under subheadings therein before set up or use of this product.
Note: You will need 10mm, 14mm and 17mm
sockets and/or end wrenches for assembly.
1. Unwrap and separate all parts on a clear work area.
2. Attaching the Handles and Upper Shelf Slide each set of Handles (1) through the corner slots in the Upper Shelf (15) and align the holes nearest the curved handle section with the holes in the side of the Shelf. Bolt in place using four of the 1-1/2" Bolts (16), Small Washers (2), and Nuts (3).
3. Attaching the Drawer Frame Slide the Drawer Frame (5a) up to the under side of the Upper Shelf (15), aligning the holes in the Drawer Frame with the four holes in the bottom of the Upper Shelf. Secure in place using 3/4" Bolts (7), Large Washers (8), and Nuts (9).
5. Attaching the drawer. Slide the Drawer (5) into the Drawer Frame and lock in place with the Key (10).
6. Attaching the
Lower Shelf
Slide the Handle ends through the corner slots in the Lower Shelf (15a) and align the remaining holes. Bolt in place using four of the 1-1/2” Bolts (16), Small Washers (2), and Nuts (3).
Note: Check that the unit is square and the drawer slides
easily. Retighten all bolts if needed to adjust the cart.
7. Installing the Wheels The Service Cart has two locking Swivel Casters (12) and two non-locking Swivel Casters (13). Both Locking Swivel Casters must be installed at the same end of the Service Cart. Choose the location of the Locking Casters before beginning.
Using a rubber mallet (sold separately), insert the Caster Holders into the ends of the Handles so that the small holes are at the opening.
Place some grease (sold separately) on the end of the shank of the Caster, then press the Casters into the Caster Holders as far as they will go. Use a steel rod and a rubber mallet to tap the Casters the rest of the way into the Caster Holder.
Note: The Casters need to be tapped into their slots for
a snug t. The nylon Caster Holder expands as the Caster is tapped into place, creating a snug t
4.
CAUTION: Do not tap directly on the Caster with the rubber
mallet. The Caster may break.
