The term ″tool″ in the warnings
refers to your Trailer Jack.
This is the safety alert
symbol. It is used to alert you to potential personal injury hazards. Obey all safety messages that follow this symbol to avoid possible injury or death.

a hazardous situation which, if not avoided, will result in death or serious injury.
WARNING
indicates a hazardous situation which, if not avoided, could result in death or serious injury.
CAUTION, used
with the safety alert symbol, indicates a hazardous situation which, if not avoided, could result in minor or moderate injury.
Work area safety1.
Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite
accidents.

Stay alert, watch what you are a. doing and use common sense when operating a tool. Do not use a tool while you are tired or under
the inuence of drugs, alcohol
or medication. A moment of inattention while operating tools may result in serious personal injury.
Use personal protective b. equipment. Always wear eye protection. Safety equipment such
as non-skid safety shoes or a hard hat used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.
Do not overreach. Keep proper c. footing and balance at all times.

Dress properly. Do not wear d. loose clothing or jewelry. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts. Loose
clothes, jewelry or long hair can be caught in moving parts.
Tool use and care3.
Do not force the tool. Do not a. exceed 2,000 lb. capacity of this tool. The correct tool will do the job
better and safer at the rate for which it was designed.
Store idle tools out of the reach of b. children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the tool or these instructions to operate it. Tools are
dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
Maintain tools. Check for c. misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any other condition that may affect the tool’s operation. If damaged, have the tool repaired before use. Many accidents are
caused by poorly maintained tools.
Use the tool and accessories d. in accordance with these instructions, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be performed. Use of the
tool for operations different from those intended could result in a hazardous situation.
Specic Safety Warnings
Be aware that the user/installer of 1. this product is solely responsible for the way the Trailer Jack is installed, operated and maintained, and is responsible for any and all consequences that occur, whether or not anticipated in these warning statements.
Do not exceed 2000 Lb. capacity.2.
Never attempt to adjust, modify or 3. take apart the Swing Plate, Pull Pin, or Pull Pin Handle while the Trailer Jack is supporting any weight.
Lock Trailer Jack in vertical position 4. before applying load.
Use on at, level, hard surface 5. capable of supporting the combined weight of the trailer and the jack.
Before each use, verify that the Pull 6. Pin is properly engaged in a hole of the Swing Plate (8).
Wear ANSI-approved safety goggles 7. during use.
Prevent trailer wheels from moving by 8. using wheel chocks while extending or retracting.
Before towing, fully raise Trailer Jack 9. and secure properly in it’s horizontal position (foot to the rear).

identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the tool is maintained.
Always keep feet, arms, and legs 10. out from under jack and tongue when applying and releasing load, or moving trailer.
