5. The Transformer Adapter is a 120V Input; 12V Output. Common household current is 110-120 Volts.
There will be no complications using this Spotlight’s Transformer Adapter with household receptacles. Never
try to plug a 110-120 Volt item into a 220-240 Volt circuit (or vice-versa) or serious complications and possible
injury to the operator may occur. The plugs have different shapes to prevent this.
6. This Transformer Adapter has a two prong plug.
Operating Instructions
1. The Spotlight must be completely charged before it’s first use. Plug in the Transformer Adapter (#22) wire
plug into the power receptacle at the back part of the Spotlight Case (#1). Plug in the Transformer Adapter into
your household electrical receptacle. Allow the Spotlight to charge for 10 hours. The red light on the back of
the handle will be lit while the unit is charging.
2. This Spotlight may also be charged by connecting the Cigarette Plug U.L. Adapter (#23) wire plug to the
power receptacle on the back of the Spotlight handle, and plugging in the Cigarette Plug U.L. Adapter to the
lighter receptacle inside your car. With the car’s accessory ignition position “ON”, the Spotlight will charge.
Again, allow 10 hours for a full charge.
3 Once the Spotlight has been charged, remove either the Transformer Adapter or Cigarette Plug U.L.
Adapter. Test the Push Switch (#4) to make sure the light works.
4. The Spotlight comes with a Lock Switch (#3) which allows the Spotlight to be turned on for extended
periods of time without having to hold down the Push Switch. To activate the Lock Switch, first depress the
Push Switch to turn the Spotlight on; while holding down the Push Switch, push in the Lock Switch on the right
side of the Spotlight Case. This will lock the light in the “ON” position. To turn the light off, push in the Lock
Switch on the left side of the Case.
5. The Storage Battery (#5) is not replaceable.
6. The Cord (#17) is provided and can be wrapped around the user’s wrist to better secure the Spotlight.
7. There also is a standard fitting on the underside of the Case which can be used to accept a tripod base (not
included).
