TEMPERATURE SWITCH: The Temperature Switch is the lower dial of the control panel. Turn clockwise from neutral position “0” to desired setting. Heating range markings are from 1760F to 482 0F.
TIMER (#10) The timer is the upper dial on the control panel. It has a continuous 60 minute timer that can be set according to the requirements of the recipe you are preparing.
INDICATOR LIGHT: The red power supply light will come on, indicating the oven is operating. If the red light does not come on, check your switches. Make sure the Timer and Temperature Switch are not in their OFF position.
OIL RETAINING TRAY: The Non-Stick Coated Crumb and Oil Retaining Tray (#39) is for catching drips from food roasting on Roasting Rack (#46).
ROASTING RACK: The wire Roasting Rack (#46) can be inserted at several different heights inside the oven. Choose the desired position for the recipe you are preparing. It can be used for baking or roasting.
ROASTING TRAY: The Roasting Tray (#45) is coated with a Non-Stick surface and is used to roast foods that may drip onto the lower electric heating element. For baking potatoes or other such foods that do not drip, use the Roasting Rack (#46). It will not interfere with heat transmission from the lower electric heating element.
SKEWER HANDLE: This Handle (#59) is used to remove the Rotating Pan with Kabobs with the food intact after the food is cooked. Carefully use the Handle to grasp both sides of the Rotating Pan and lift the food out carefully from the oven.
TRAY LIFTER: The Tray Lifter (#60) is used to lift the Roasting Rack (#46), and Roasting Tray (#45) after food is cooked.
CADDY: After the kabobs are filled with vegetables and meat, use the Caddy to assist you in positioning the kabobs on the Rotating Pans - see photo on page 4. Once all five kabobs are filled and locked into position, set the Caddy aside (do not use in oven). Use the Skewer Handle (#59) to place the assembled Rotating Pan into the brackets on the sides of the oven. Set theOn/Off Switch to “Heat Oven Throughout”.

OPERATING THE OVEN
ROASTING AND BAKING
Setting: Timer (#10): According to Recipe Requirements
Heat Setting : “Heat Oven Throughout” Temperature: 325 0F Recommended
Note: The maximum weight for rotating is 6.5 lbs. If recipe calls for preheated oven, close the oven door and set the switch to the above setting. The oven should be sufficiently hot to begin cooking after five to ten minutes. Reset the dials for cooking time and heat.
ROASTING, BROILING:
Setting: Timer (#10): According to Recipe Requirements
Heat Setting: “Upper Heat” Temperature: 320 0F to 375 0F Recommended
Heat oven to desired temperature with door closed before roasting. Place the food beneath the upper heating elements so it does not come into contact with the elements. Set the switch to the above setting. You may use a small amount of oil or cooking spray on the Roasting Tray. (See Page 4) before cooking to avoid sticking. Open the door to ventilate if you notice excess heat while roasting.
ROTISSERIE WHOLE CHICKEN OR LARGER PIECE OF MEAT IN OVEN:

Heat Setting: “Heat Oven Throughout” Temperature: 325 0F Recommended
Note: The maximum weight for rotating, 6.5 lbs. If recipe calls for preheated oven, close the oven door and set the switch to the above setting. The oven should be sufficiently hot to begin cooking after five to ten minutes. Skewer chicken or meat onto Rods and mount inside oven. OPERATING THE OVEN (Continued)
ROASTING, BROILING, FRYING, STIR FRYING WITH THE ROASTING TRAY (#45)
Setting: Timer (#10): According to Recipe Requirements
Heat Setting: “Upper Heat” Temperature: Appropriate temperature depends on the food.
Heat oven to desired temperature with door closed before roasting. You may wish to heat the tray in the oven as well. Place the food in the Roasting Tray (#45). Set the switch to the above setting. Apply a small amount of oil or cooking spray to the Roasting Tray. Place the food in the oven for roasting/frying. When cooking is complete, open the oven door to ventilate the heat and cool the oven.
GRILLING & BARBECUE
Setting: Timer (#10): According to Recipe Requirements.
Heat Setting: “Upper Heat” Temperature: 325 0F Recommended
Note: To save the power, keep the temperature of the Griddle Tray (#55) in a stable high temperature while operating. Insert the Roasting Tray (#45) and Flat Roasting Rack (#46) into the lower tray slot of the oven so the Bake Tray can isolate the heat downward from the upper heating elements. Place food to be grilled or barbecued in Tray. Close the oven door. Set the Switch as shown. Watch closely to make sure the food does not burn or flair up.
TOASTING
Setting: Timer (#10): According to Recipe Requirements
Heat Setting: “Heat Oven Throughout” Temperature: 375 0F Recommended
Note: The maximum weight for rotating is 6.5 lbs. Place the food to be toasted on the flat Roasting Tray (#45) into the oven. Set the switch as above. Monitor the cooking progress and remove the food immediately when it turns golden brown.
DEFROSTING OR WARMING
Setting: Timer (#10): 15 Minutes or Until Defrosted
Heat Setting: “Upper Heat” or “Heat Oven Throughout” Temperature: 176 0F
Place the food on the flat Roasting Rack (#46) or Roasting Tray (#45) into the oven. You should avoid attempting to defrost large pieces of meat such as a roast. They will not defrost evenly in the oven. Follow traditional methods of defrosting large cuts of meat. DO NOT place plastic containers or plastic wrapping in the oven.
