Replac e the batte ry when th e batter y symbol is b linking or w hen Check temp®Dip
does no t turn on. Op en the compa rtment an d replace th e three AA A batter ies, while
payin g attenti on to their po larity. Clo se batte ry cover.

Note: Batte ries shoul d only be repl aced in a safe a rea using the b atter y type spe cified in th is instruc tion manu al.
Old batt eries shou ld be dispos ed in accord ance with lo cal regula tions.

Operation

Turn Check temp®Dip O N: all LCD segm ents are disp layed for 1 se cond. CAL C heck®
star ts autom atically t o verify th at Check temp®Dip is s till accura te to its
speci cation s. A messag e of “CAL“ and “-0-“ means tha t Checkte mp®Dip is wit hin
speci cation s. You can now sta rt using Ch ecktemp ®Dip. If CAL C heck® dis plays the
“Err” messa ge while measuring temperature, remember that:

· The tem perature s ensor is loc ated at the t ip of the sta inless ste el probe.

· It is nec essary t o wait for a few s econds for th e display to st abilize.

Meter Setup

Enter S etup to chang e betwee n Tempera ture Unit and t o adjust the A uto Shut-o
time. To enter t he Setup MOD E, press th e SET button lo cated insi de the bat tery
compa rtment on ce for Temperatu re Unit or tw ice for Auto Sh ut-o.

To enter the Se tup mode, re move bat tery cover a nd press SET but ton. The di splay
will sho w the curre nt tempera ture unit (E. g. “°C“). T hen:

· Use the ON /OFF butt on to switch b etween “ ºC” or “ºF”. Pres s SET once to save.

· Use the ON /OFF butt on to cycle th rough the fo llowing Aut o Shut-off op tions:

8 minutes (“d08”, defa ult value), 60 min utes (“d60”) , OFF (“d--”). Pres s the SET
bu tton once t o save.

and the nat ure of the pro blem. If th e repair is not co vered by the w arrant y, you will be noti fied of the c harges inc urred. If th e

area using t he batte ry type s pecified i n this instr uction ma nual. Any va riation in troduced b y the user to th e supplied eq uipment
may degra de the inst rument’s E MC perfor mance. To avoid dam ages or bur ns, do not put t he instru ment in micro wave oven. Fo r
yours and t he instru ment safet y do not use o r store the in strumen t in hazardou s environm ents.
