Meter Setup
Enter Se tup to chang e the temper ature unit ( ºC or
Setup MODE , press the S ET button l ocated inside
the ba ttery com partme nt once for tem perature
· Use the O N/OFF but ton to switc h between
“ºC ” or “ºF”. Press S ET once to sav e and continu e
to auto s hut o sett ings.
· Use the O N/OFF but ton to cycle th rough the
follow ing Auto Shu t O options: 8 min utes
(“d08 ”, defau lt value), 60 min utes (“d60 ”),
OFF (“d- -”). Press th e SET butt on once to save
and con tinue to norm al operat ion.
Battery Replacement
Replac e the batte ry when the bat tery sy mbol is
blink ing or when Che cktemp® d oes not swi tch
on. If th e meter has be en submerged in a l iquid,
make sur e it has been co mpletely dr ied. Check t he
polar ity of the b attery, op en the compar tment , and
repla ce the batt ery. Close b attery co ver.
Note: Bat teries sh ould only be r eplaced in a sa fe area using t he batter y
type sp ecied in thi s instruc tion manua l. Old batter ies should b e disposed i n
accordan ce with local regul ations.
Operation
Turn Check temp® ON with ON/OF F button: all LCD
segmen ts are displayed fo r 1 second, and Cal Check®
star ts automat ically to verif y that Check temp®
of “CAL“ and “-0 -“ means that Che cktemp® is
measur ing temperatu re, remember th at:
· The tem perature s ensor is locat ed at the tip
of the s tainless s teel probe.
· It is nec essary to w ait for a few se conds for
the dis play to stab ilize.
