HI 9812-5 is guaranteed for two years against defects in workmanship
and materials when used for their intended purpose and maintained
according to instructions. Electrodes and probes are guaranteed for six
months. This warranty is limited to repair or replacement free of
charge.
Damage due to accidents, misuse, tampering or lack of prescribed
maintenance is not covered.
If service is required, contact the dealer from whom you purchased
the instrument. If under warranty, report the model number, date
of purchase, serial number and the nature of the problem. If the
repair is not covered by the warranty, you will be notified of the
charges incurred. If the instrument is to be returned to Hanna
Instruments, first obtain a Returned Goods Authorization number
from the Technical Service department and then send it with shipping
costs prepaid. When shipping any instrument, make sure it is properly
packed for complete protection.

Remove the instrument from the packing material and examine it
carefully to make sure that no damage has occurred during shipment.
If noticeable damage is found, notify your Dealer.

Note: Save all packing material until you are sure that the instrument
functions correctly. Any defective items must be returned in the
original packing together with the supplied accessories.

HI 9812-5 is the complete, versatile and splash-proof portable
combination meter specially dedicated to aquariums, fish-farming and
seawater applications.
The instrument provides measurements for pH, EC, TDS and temperature
ranges, which are easily selectable through a keypad on the front
panel.
Conductivity measurements are automatically compensated for
temperature changes with a built-in temperature sensor. The
temperature coefficient is fixed at 2%/°C.
• HI 9812-5 is a pH/EC/TDS meter designed for simplicity of use
in taking pH, µS/cm, ppm and temperature measurements.
Suited for hydroponics, greenhouses, farming and ground water
applications.
