IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
1. Read all instructions.
2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
3. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plug, or
base in water or other liquid.
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by
or near children.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to
cool before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning.
6. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or
after the appliance malfunctions or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Call our toll-free customer service number for information on examination, repair, or adjustment.
7. The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the
appliance manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury.
8. Do not use outdoors.
9. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot
surfaces, including stove.
10. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated
oven.
11. To disconnect, turn the appliance off (O); then remove the plug
from the wall outlet.
12. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
13.
Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
14.
A popper that is plugged into an outlet should not be left unattended. This popper will not shut off automatically. To avoid overheating, add corn and oil before operating.
15.
Extreme caution must be used when unloading popcorn. Always turn the unit over a countertop so that residual hot oil or water running out will not cause burns.
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons, including the following:
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS!
OTHER CONSUMER SAFETY INFORMATION
This appliance is intended for household use only. WARNING! Shock Hazard: This appliance has a polarized plug (one
wide blade) that reduces the risk of electric shock. The plug fits only one way into a polarized outlet. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the plug by modifying the plug in any way or by using an adapter. If the plug does not fit, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, have an electrician replace the outlet.
The length of the cord used on this appliance was selected to reduce the hazards of becoming tangled in or tripping over a longer cord. If a longer cord is necessary, an approved extension cord may be used. The electrical rating of the extension cord must be equal to or greater than the rating of the appliance. Care must be taken to arrange the extension cord so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or accidentally tripped over.

How to Make Popcorn
1
Place recommended amount of oil (canola or peanut oil is best) on nonstick popping plate. (See chart on page 6 for recommended serving amounts.)
BEFORE FIRST USE: Wash all removable pieces in warm, soapy water. Ensure that the nut is hand-tightened onto the rotating arm before operating the popper.
2
Place desired amount of popcorn kernels on nonstick popping plate. (See chart on page 6 for recommended serving amounts.)
3
Place lid on popper (without lid cover). Plug unit into outlet. DO NOT OPERATE WITH LID COVER ON LID.
4
If desired, place thin pats of butter on the lid opening, allowing butter to melt into the popcorn as the unit heats. For best results, place no more than approximately 4 thin pats of butter on lid. Softened butter will yield best results.
5
Turn unit on and wait as the rotating arm begins to spin and the unit heats the kernels and oil. The heated kernels will begin to pop. NOTE: The rotating arm will periodically reverse directions during use. Every so often, kernels will become trapped under the rotating arm and can result in a scraping or squeaking sound. This does not indicate a defective unit.
6
7
When popping slows to about 2 seconds between pops, turn the unit off and unplug it.
NOTE: Popcorn kernels may continue to pop after unit is turned off. Make sure popping has stopped before flipping and removing lid.

How to Make Popcorn
(cont.)
8
Push lid cover firmly onto lid.
9
CAUTION! Burn Hazard. Holding the popper using oven mitts, turn the unit over, flippng it away from your body to prevent burns from steam.
10
The unit will now rest on the lid cover. NOTE: The popcorn popper
will be VERY HOT.
11
Remove popper base, turn back to upright position, and set aside.
12
Popcorn may be eaten directly from the lid/serving bowl or dispensed into smaller serving bowls. See page 6 for Topping Ideas.
13
When cool, wipe nonstick popping plate with a damp cloth to prepare for next popping cycle.
NOTE: Due to the heat created during use, a second popping cycle may yield slightly less popcorn than the first cycle. Waiting several minutes between popping cycles will yield best results.

Servings Chart
(all yields approximate)
AMOUNT OF POPCORN
2 Tablespoons unpopped
1/4 cup unpopped 1/3 cup unpopped 1/2 cup unpopped
AMOUNT OF OIL
1 to 1 1/2 Tsp oil 1 1/2 to 2 Tsp oil 2 to 2 1/2 Tsp oil
1 Tbsp oil
APPROXIMATE YIELD
Approximately 4 to 5 cups popped
Approximately 9 to 10 cups popped Approximately 13 to 15 cups popped Approximately 18 to 20 cups popped
NOTES:
The amounts listed on some grocery store popcorn packages call for more oil than is necessary in this unit.
Too much oil will begin to collect in the base of the popper.
Every so often, kernels will become trapped under the rotating arm and can result in a scraping or squeaking sound.
This does not indicate a defective unit.
Popcorn types and brands vary in freshness and moisture content. Popped amounts of corn may vary slightly from this
chart and some unpopped kernels may remain after popping has stopped.
Topping Ideas
Sweet – cinnamon sugar, chocolate shavings, ice cream sauces/syrups, pie spices, powdered sugar Savory – red pepper flakes, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, herb seasoning, dressing mix, chili powder, barbecue rub, taco
seasoning
